"Hi." Sapa Hilda when Felix was already in front of her.
"Hi, how are you?"
It felt so awkward for Felix when dealing with Hilda.
The girl was still the same, her height almost followed the height of Felix. A cheerful sweet smile is always displayed, and her voice is always soothing to hear.
"Okay, how are you?"
Felix's eyes caught something in Hilda's hands. He wears a small cloth tied to his left wrist.
Sontak Felix grabbed Hilda's wrist and opened it quickly.
Then Felix pensively stared at the scar that turned out to be still the same as before. Even Felix was convinced the scar was as if it was being renewed.
"Is this what you say is good?" Ask Felix.
Hilda lowered her head and pulled her wrist. "That's none of your business, Fel."
"Why is that none of my business?"
"You're married." Hilda's voice was low but Felix had heard it.
"What if I'm married? Can we still be friends?"
Hilda smiled miris. A fella? Hilda used to believe Felix was so adoring to her, if only she hadn't gone to follow her papa abroad maybe her relationship with Felix would have grown more and more serious.
Not as it is today. So awkward and clumsy like a stranger. Her tears began to pool in her eyes.
The sound of the bell coming in sounded. "We'll continue our conversation later. There the buru enter." Felix said as he left Hilda.
The Hilda and Felix classes are just next door. Hilda used to be in class with Felix, but after returning from abroad she got a different class.
After the final lesson, Felix again tried to find Hilda. At break time, the girl was completely invisible. Makes her a little worried if anything happens to her.
He ran to and fro and asked someone in his path hoping to find the girl soon. Damnit damnit! Felix was self-defeating, if he asked for the girl's new phone number he wouldn't be in this kind of trouble.
Even Felix made it to the roof of the building, just in case he headed to the roof and did reckless things to do.
It's nothing, but Felix knows exactly what happened to Hilda. In the past, Felix knew, Hilda suffered from major depressive disorder that made her continue to try to hurt or even kill herself.
Only Felix knew of the dark disease Hilda suffered. The smile that he often showed was fake. The tomboyish and strong nature shown is also no less fake. She's a girl who looks strong on the outside but is actually so fragile on the inside.
Riding his motorcycle, he walked out of the school yard. In the way his eyes watch the surrounding environment that he passed. Hilda was walking around and nothing happened to her.
Long he searched, lucky God to meet him with Hilda. I was staring blankly at a park not far from the school.
Felix parked his motorcycle in the corner of the park, for a moment he followed the view of Hilda who was observing a little girl playing while holding hands with her mother.
Felix stepped his foot toward the fragile figure. "Hey, are you okay?" Ask Felix.
Hilda turned her head, her face so pale and moody. But a second later showed his fake cherry face.
"Well, just passing by and accidentally seeing you here."
Hilda nodded her head.
"Here sit." Take Hilda while patting the iron bench of the garden beside her.
Felix sat his ass on the bench. Staring in that still pale face, the afternoon breeze waving his shoulder-length hair. If she hadn't married Ala, surely she and the girl would still be together.
"Fel, what's your wife's name?" Hilda asked him to throw his daydream.
"Pearl.. Alamanda."
"A pretty name, like the guy."
"Do you ever see his face?"
"Right, on social media."
"Oh yes."
"Fel, do you love her?"
Felix was stunned to hear the sudden question posed by Hilda.
"Why indeed?"
"It's okay, just wanted to ask."
"I think it's a private thing. There's no need to be shared with anyone else."
Hilda's heart ached to hear the words of others from Felix's mouth. The mouth that once kissed her was friendly before the airport breakup.
His departure abroad to join his papa aims to reduce his depressive disorder.
Both of her parents have been divorced for a long time. As a child, Hilda was under the care of her mother and suffered physical abuse that made it difficult for her to communicate.
After that custody was taken over by his father, growing up made his father know that Hilda suffered from depression. Various treatments from psychiatrists have been aimed at achieving Hilda's recovery.
In the midst of his struggle to heal, that's when Hilda knew Felix and opened her heart slowly to accept Felix.
The sincere nature Felix showed seemed to shed light on Hilda's dark life.
Hilda grabbed the light and hoped forever it would always be there for her and never be extinguished.
But when Hilda hears the sudden news of Felix's marriage, she feels the light has been snatched away by another woman, making her sink back into darkness.
"Fel, if you ask me. Do I still love you.. I will firmly answer I still love you. There's still a sense in your heart."
Felix stared in the eyes of Hilda who was so serious, trying to find the seriousness behind the sentence that had just been thrown.
"Not look at me like that. I know you've been looking for me up here because this isn't the road you used to go home. I'll go home first!" Hilda got up from her stool still putting on her fake smile.
