Chapter 83 Big Bet

Selena was a little stunned and said instinctively, "Really? They haven't even started cutting the stones yet, so how do you know who lost?"

Leon grinned without saying anything as he realized that Divine Consciousness could penetrate the core of the raw stone when he entered the room. He could see if the stones contained a green color with just a glance.

Meanwhile, there was no green on the raw stone chosen by Third Master Gibson at all. In contrast, the stone Melvin chose had a green color as big as an egg in it.

Realizing that she did not say anything, Selena raised her eyebrows slightly. He could only suppress his doubts and watch them smash the stones.

After Melvin and Third Master Gibson took their raw stones, the staff with gloves carried the stone cutting machine.

"Who among you wants to open first?"

Hengky looked at the two of them and said as usual with a smile, "me, Hengky, will say this again. Our company will buy jade if it's inside the stone that you both chose."

"Melvin will open first. If there's no green on the stone, it means I won" Third Master Gibson scoffed.

Melvin glared at him in disdain and then said to the mason, "Clean up first before grinding it."

The stone cutter expert nodded and carried it out.

Leon nodded silently.

Judging from that alone, one could tell that Melvin was much more mature than Third Master Gibson. Under Divine Consciousness, he realized that there was an egg-sized green color in the very center of the raw stone.

If one were to cut it from the middle, the jade would be destroyed.

First, the rock cutter expert poured water into the cutting machine. As the machine walked, the spectators suddenly took a step forward and watched what was happening with their eyes wide open as they were afraid of missing any details.

Third Master Gibson clenched his fists that were placed behind his back. There was a little sweat dripping from him.

The stonecutter was very experienced. As he followed Melvin's request to wipe his surface before grinding, he immediately crushed half of the raw stone.

"Green..I see green, I see green!" someone shouted in surprise when his sharp eyes saw something.

The stonecutter nodded again and started crushing the stone after starting the machine. When the whole raw stone was cut, nothing was found in it.

Master Leon really guessed it right. How is that possible?

He looked at Leon. There was light in her beautiful eyes. "Master Leon, how did you know that my Third Uncle would lose?"

"Take a guess!" Leon smiled in a mysterious way. There was no surprise on his face.

Melvin laughed out loud. "Third Lord Gibson, you lost again. You owe me a total of 75 million, so pay now."

He stared at Leon intentionally as he finished speaking. He frowned and said after realizing that Leon looked calm, "What? This master seemed to be ignoring me. Do you want to play?"

The crowd could not help but look at Leon with ridicule in their eyes. They mocked that it was fortunate that he had not chosen the stone for Third Master Gibson before. Otherwise, the situation would have gotten worse by now.

Leon was stunned at first, but then, he said cynically, "You want to play with me? Are you sure?"

Never did he think that Melvin would be more upset now. He said in a deep voice, "Do you think I, Mr Melvin, am afraid of you? I'm just worried you don't have the money to play with me. Of course, you can borrow it from Third Master Gibson..."

Before he finished speaking, Leon pulled out a bank card and slammed it onto the table. "How do you want to play? Money or your life?" he said calmly.
