My Father the Southern Immortal Emperor
Chapter 79 The Illusion Mirror

"Look at you! I want to know what is considered a treasure to you." Uncle Aslan could not help but scorn. Now, he was almost certain that Leon was just playing around on purpose. For the sake of Selena's face, she held back her anger.

"For me, only things that come with spiritual energy are considered as treasures. For example, a Taoist talisman, a Five Lightning Talisman that can summon the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning, or a flying sword that one can control to fly tens of thousands of kilometers with just his thoughts, "said Leon with a smile.

The crowd laughed out loud as soon as he finished speaking. They looked at him as if they were looking at an idiot and they started to suspect if he was mentally ill.

"What are you talking about?"

Selena blushed in embarrassment because of her words and she glared at him angrily. "How could you possibly say such things? You don't make any sense."

"It doesn't mean those things don't exist just because you've never seen them. That's why I said everything in this store is garbage. It's all ruining the view." Leon smiled calmly.

Uncle Aslan was furious, but just as he was about to release his anger, the old professor who spoke earlier interrupted, "Master Aslan, because this younger brother is so picky, he said, why don't you show him your most valuable work?"

Everyone immediately responded as soon as he said that.

"Yes, Mr. Aslan. I've heard that you have the most precious thing you've kept for almost a decade. We've never seen him before. Why don't you take it out to show us and also show that person what a treasure is?"

People started talking one after another. They made a fuss about wanting to see that most precious thing.

Even Selena's interest was intrigued. "Uncle Aslan, is there a most valuable item in your shop? Why haven't I heard it before?"

Uncle Aslan hesitated. However, after seeing Leon's unperturbed expression, he said after taking a deep breath, "Alright, I'll take out the most precious item today. Let's see what you're gonna say about that."

After saying that, he took the key and returned to the warehouse alone, but he forbade anyone to follow him.

Shortly after, he returned with something wrapped in a black cloth. He looks very serious. It was roughly the size of a pot lid. It was tightly wrapped in a black cloth.

"Mr Aslan, is this the most precious thing?" ask someone in an uncertain tone.

Uncle Aslan nodded and opened the cloth.

A bronze mirror immediately appeared before everyone. The mirror was shaped like a biscuit and there was a little patina growing on it.

Selena walked over to study it curiously. However, he was a little disappointed. "Uncle Aslan, isn't this an ordinary ancient mirror? How does this become the most valuable thing to you? Don't tell me Qin Shi Huang has used this before."

He said exactly what everyone was thinking.

"Young Miss, look at your face in front of the mirror again," Uncle Aslan pushed mysteriously with a smile.

Selena hesitated and put her face in front of the mirror.

Something strange happened the next second.

He could not stop trembling as both of his hands gripped the bronze mirror. Fear filled her beautiful face as if she had seen something terrifying.

Uncle Aslan immediately took the bronze mirror. Selena's body went limp. Fortunately, Leon quickly noticed it and hugged her.

"H-ghosts... There's a ghost in the mirror!"

Uncle Aslan did not think the series of reactions were strange at all. He said as he shook his head, "Young Miss, now you know why I treat her as the most precious thing but I never show it to anyone?"

Ever since she got the bronze mirror, she realized that she would always see a headless female corpse sitting in front of the dressing table whenever she looked directly at the mirror. The body was combing the hair of the head in his hand.

The woman's body will rotate 180 degrees with her head in her hand the longer she looks in the mirror. She then grinned brutally at him and walked towards him step by step.

It felt real as if it had really happened before his eyes.

He thought it was just his illusion, so he secretly experimented with others. He found that everyone saw the same thing, but in a different scene every time. From then on, he kept the bronze mirror and no longer showed it to anyone.

Everyone is confused. Someone inevitably asked, "Master Aslan, can you show it to me?"

Uncle Aslan nodded.

The man walked over and imitated what Selena was doing. Finally, he wet his pants out of fear. She trembled while lying on the floor, shouting that she saw a ghost.

The same thing happened to the next few people.

Finally, Uncle Aslan looked at Leon coldly. There was a mockery on the corner of his lips. "Sir Leon, do you want to try?"

Everyone couldn't help but look at Leon. They looked like they were laughing at him, especially some people who had been upset. They hope Leon answers yes to what Uncle Aslan asked for.

Uncle Aslan glanced at him with eyes full of ridicule. "What's? Do you dare not do that? Don't tell me you're scared?"

'Bad boy, haven't you been pretending before?

"It's just an illusion that's not worth mentioning at all!" Leon coldly said and walked straight towards the bronze mirror.

Selena's lips moved as she reminded him kindly, "Be careful, that mirror is really scary!"

Leon sneered and held the mirror right in front of him. He stared right into it.

The people present looked at each other and could not stop smiling. They seemed to be imagining a scene where Leon peed on his own pants out of fear.

Uncle Aslan was smiling as well.

The reason was that no one could bear the shadows in the bronze mirror, no one could!

Selena hesitated for a moment. He quietly prepared to take the bronze mirror if Leon could no longer see it.

Although he hated Leon, no matter what happened he was a benefactor to the Gibson family.

However, a minute passed but Leon was still standing. He did not react at all.

People dumbfounded. The reason for that was that none of them present were able to last more than 30 seconds.

The smile on Uncle Aslan's face became stiff, he was completely shocked. He had invited over ten people to his previous experiment and the fact that nothing could last for a single minute remained unchanged.
