Chapter 33 The streets

On a weekend morning, Freya knocks on the door while Leon is still fast asleep. "Open the door, Dad. Wake."

Leon peeked out the window after he opened his eyes. Realizing that the sky was clear, she got out of bed and put on her head to open the door.

Her daughter was turning her body around and using her pajamas at the door with excitement filling her little face. He threw himself into his arms as he opened the door. He immediately crouched down to catch her, worried that his daughter would fall.

Freya held her neck and rolled her cute eyes at him. "Dad, I've been knocking on your door for so long. Why did you open it now?"

"Dad's still sleeping. I'm sorry, okay?" Leon revealed a shy smile.

He had slept late at night due to a phone call from Revan in the middle of the night. He had agreed to go to dinner. Besides, he also had something else on his mind.

Freya exclaimed arrogantly and sang while pouting, "Dad is a lazy pig. A big, lazy pig."

"If father is a big lazy pig, doesn't that mean my Freya, is a lazy little pig?" Leon pinched his soft, seductive little hand, unsure whether to laugh or cry.

After saying goodbye to her parents, Freya held her hand and walked out of the house in a daze.

The little girl was always smiling all the way. "Where are we going first, Dad?"

"Let's go to the bank first. I need to withdraw some money."

Ziko huffed impatiently from the side, "Why are you still talking to this person? I'm in a hurry!"

"We'll see you again when we have time." Nikita smirked arrogantly. He held Ziko's hand and went to the bank after saying that.

Freya said in her small voice after the two left, "Dad, who are the bad guys?"

"They were my classmates first," Leon crouched down to pat her head and asked, "Oh yeah, why are you saying that they are bad people?"

"Because they are bad people!"

She flicked her lips and said while scoffing, "Uncle especially, he's the worst. He almost hit us with his car, yet he doesn't even apologize.
