Two months have passed since I entered this academy. Honestly, I can say that my activities at this academy are monotonous.
All I do every day is study in class. After studying, my classmate and I went to the cafeteria, after which studied again. Then go home after all the lessons are over.
This continued to do, until I finally realized when checking the date on my smartphone, while I woke up.
Today is Sunday, more precisely June 05, 2050.
To be honest, I didn't count at all how long I had entered the academy, but after my eyes focused on the moon on today's date. I also realized how quickly time had passed.
To the extent that, I was made aware that it had been 2 months since I entered the academy.
Actually, for the monotonous activities I used to do it was not a problem at this point. If I go back, for 15 years I've lived... I can't escape the monotony of life. Even if I think further, every living human being, also cannot escape the monotonous activities in their lives.
"June month... Another month, I'll have a birthday." I muttered in a soft voice.
Thas right. Even without me noticing once again, my 16th birthday was also close. Just counting the days.
I'll have my birthday on July 7th, Thursday.
To be honest, I wasn't too excited, knowing my birthday was close like this. I was no longer a child, despite my childlike form, who was excited to find out that my birthday was near.
If I think about it one more time, even my birthday also feels monotonous.
Last year, on my 15th birthday. It was only my family that celebrated.
At that time we just had a small party with turkey chicken roasting, opening a gift provided by my parents, which most of the gifts I received must have been textbooks.
Honestly, I'm happy when my birthday is celebrated.
But it doesn't make me feel like my birthday is special. Because every year, it must be my birthday, and my sister, Mia, is celebrated by my parents.
The special definition I think is, something that is done once in a lifetime. So it's only natural that I feel like my birthday isn't special.
The question now is, am I tired of living this monotony? To be honest... I don't know...
As I explained, I have lived a monotone all my life. So I don't know if I'm tired of this or not. If I get bored, I will definitely stop doing that monotony and look for new, exciting things. But in fact, I didn't do that. I don't know if I'm bored or not. Even so, I know this for sure...
Although I am not bored, and not looking for new things that I consider special, but deep down in my heart, I expect that special thing to come to me in the near future.
While hoping for that special thing to come, I did the usual thing I did when the day had entered this weekend.
Play games on the PC in my room. After getting tired of playing the game, I would go out for a walk around the housing complex, when hungry, I went home to eat, then went to my room to tune relaxation music while reading a book until the afternoon. The next thing I do is take a shower, then play games on my smartphone until dinner time, after that study until I get sleepy, and for the last activity is sleep, to end my weekend, which once again... This monotone...

05 June 2050. At 12:30.
The sun passes slightly from overhead, a shadow that is reflected by sunlight, slightly longer than the object. Noon, on this Sunday it is sunny. The light of the sun shining brightly illuminated the earth without any obstruction from the clouds.
Spring in this country is slightly faster to end, so that the heat of summer has come in months like this, the heat will peak in August. So that at times like this, the cool atmosphere that is characteristic of spring, a little has faded, slowly replaced with heat that is only a few months away.
In a downtown cafe full of technological advances, two young people are spending their weekends.
They had just decided to rest after starting at 10 this morning, playing in a cold mall because of AC, and crushes filled with people visiting this weekend.
Actually, the two of them could have bought food and drinks from inside the mall. But it is common knowledge that food in the mall is more expensive than outside the mall. Therefore they decided to rest at the cafe closest to the mall.
The two young men ordered their food and drinks to the cafe waiter who came soon after they had chosen a seat in the cafe that was cool because of the AC in the cafe room. After taking down the orders from the two youths, the waiter immediately went to the back area to relay the orders of the two youths to the chef.
While waiting for their order to come, the two young men had a brief conversation. Most of their conversations are about their school. After a few minutes of talking, their order arrived.
They gobbled up the dishes they ordered, continuing the conversation they had started before their order came.
"Heah... Just try the school cafeteria to provide food like this." One of the young men grumbled about the food problem in his cafeteria as he swallowed the pasta he ordered. The young man had green hair. The proportion of his body is thin, with a height equivalent to that of a basketball player. The word 'jangkung.' is a suitable word to describe his appearance. The young man who had just grumbled was Mira's classmate, Dani kalpataru.
"There's no point nagging Dani's problem." Reply to the young man sitting in front of him. He has thin black hair, with a height that is equivalent to Dani and has a muscular body. He is Dani's best friend, Raihan Adaka.
"Also, aren't you tired of nagging the food stuff in the cafeteria all the time?" Continue Raihan, before spooning a mouthful of fried rice into his mouth.
"Someone once said. Expect constantly until your hope is achieved. That's why I'm not tired of talking about this." Answer Dani.
"Whose word is that?" Raihan asked with a skeptical face. All his life, he had never heard that word from anyone before.
"My word." Dani replied, grinning widely.
They stopped talking for a while, to eat their food for as much as a few mouthfuls. After they finished swallowing, they drank their drink a mouthful to refresh the throat. The light conversation between the two teenagers continued once more.
This time, the topic is about relationships.
"Raihan, aren't you being too obedient to Mira? No need to go back to him." Dani asked worriedly.
Dani is worried about her friend, for obeying the words of a girl in their class. Indeed the girl had already helped Raihan solve his problem, but still, Dani was worried about him. Especially when the girl admitted that she had brainwashed Raihan by giving him consecutive suggestions.
Dani did not want, this friend became the daughter of someone because of the influence of brainwashing that even his own friend was not aware of.
"yeah. There's no harm, right? He's been helping me. Besides, he didn't tell me to do anything beyond reason." Answer Raihan.
"But still... Aren't you being too obedient to her."
"He even admitted to brainwashing you know..." Dani added inside his head.
"If that's what I admit... But somehow, I couldn't refuse his orders. I've been thinking about him lately, I don't know what's wrong with my brain right now." Raihan said with a smile on his face.
"Hmmm...?" Dani could not ignore the meaning of his friend's words.
He inspected the expression of his best friend.
His best friend Raihan, smiled slightly with a timid expression, there was even a slight red hue on his cheek. His gaze was like not looking at the food he was eating, but gazing far away as if looking into the future. It was as if he was imagining something...
"No way... It can't be..." Dani's head was trying to resist what he saw at the moment, but reality was clearly plastered before his face. So, his brain is no longer able to resist what is experienced by his friend at this time.
"Gdh..." Dani tried to hold back her laughter. But could not, his laughter finally escaped from his mouth. Making the people who were in the cafe instantly look towards where these two youths were sitting.
Raihan looked at Dani with a doubtful look, not understanding why his best friend suddenly laughed loosely.
"Ahahahaha.... Huh... Huh... Haaaah..." After laughing for a few seconds, Dani gathered her breath back together. Calm yourself from his laughter.
"Diamond... You like it, Mira don't you?" Dani asked with a grin on her face.
"Huh!? N-no! I just feel like I owe him!" Raihan said, denying.
But his facial expression indicated otherwise. His face was currently flushed like a tomato.
Dani could only nod her head with a mocking smile on her face, as if she received a denial from Raihan.
"Yes... I-i understand... No need to be that kind of a scene."
"I said no!"
"mmm... I know Raihan. You don't like it... I totally understand." Dani said in a mocking tone.
"It turns out there's no point in me worrying." Dani thought with a relieved smile.
Dani thinks that Raihan can't resist Mira's words because Mira's brainwashing effect is still attached to her best friend. But after knowing the reason that his best friend was always obedient to Mira's words because he harbored romantic feelings for her, making Dani worry evaporate like water exposed to heat.
One thing that Raihan and Dani did not realize. That is the romantic feelings that Raihan is currently pendam to Mira, actually the feeling is a continuation effect of brainwashing that he applied. The truth of this effect was also unexpected by Mira.
"Forget about me. What about you? Is your relationship with Alya smooth?" Ask Raihan.
"...... Excuse me. I don't want to talk about it...." Dani was silent for a moment, before replying with a sad smile.
"..... Is there a problem? You can tell me."
".... Actually, I haven't seen him since I entered the academy. Even after touring the academy, I never saw him again." Dani replied lethargicly.
"Oooohs... So that's why you didn't go around clearly the first time you entered the academy. To find Alya?"
"Is there really another reason?"
"But you still have the number, don't you?" Ask Raihan.
"He never answered my chat, and never picked up my phone. It must be his parents who hold his smartphone."
"so yeah... Well, whatever it is, my ears are always open to hear your curses, man."
"Thanks, my bro."
That way, they continued to finish their meal with a somewhat awkward atmosphere.
