Kriei!!
"We'll keep up on the next meeting."
The bell sign finally reads the third lesson. The teacher who taught also learned the lesson, took his things on the table, then he left the class.
The moment the teacher who was teaching came out, an awkward atmosphere instantly filled the room. Everyone was still hesitant to chat with each other after yesterday's incident in the treatment room.
As info, it's been a day since my evil treatment of Raihan. Everyone from this morning often looked at me today. But the gaze they gave was not a look of hatred, but a look of awkwardness, they seemed to want to invite me to talk, but did not know what they wanted to talk about. We were like strangers who happened to be sitting in a public place.
I as the one who caused all these situations, took the initiative to leave the classroom, eliminating these awkward situations.
Moving from my seat, I walked to the classroom door.
It's twelve o'clock right now, time off. If in a normal situation, one of us would propose to go to the cafeteria, or what we used to do in the last few weeks to take to the field to train Raihan. But due to the complicated situation between us, no one proposed it on this day.
As I was outside the classroom, walking down the corridor, I heard small steps from behind me.
"Mira, are you going to the cafeteria?" The person who came to me from class asked when he got to my side. The one who asked was a blonde girl, Natasha Twilight.
"Where else would I go at this hour." Answer me.
"Can I come?"
"Yes." Yeah."
We both walked side by side down the corridor.
"Are you not angry with them?" Natasha asked as we reached the stairs that led us to the first floor.
Apparently he wanted to ask that question since we walked together, as evidenced by him who often stole the view when we walked together.
Without having to give any specifics, I knew who Natasha meant 'them. What he meant was my classmates who were rude to me yesterday.
"Not really. Rather than being angry, can you say I was disappointed in them? I thought they were intelligent people, who were more concerned with logic than feeling, but apparently I was too high in judging them. And also, I was wrong yesterday, so it's just a waste of energy if I keep emotions on them." Answer me.
Thas right. I'm not mad at them. There is only a feeling of disappointment. I did not expect that they would be more concerned with their egos and feelings than with logical and realistic thinking. But I can't keep that feeling of disappointment. Because if you look at it from their point of view, obviously I was the one who acted across the line yesterday.
Well... Whatever it is, I accept the fact that I was wrong. So there is no point in keeping negative feelings directly to them.
If the situation improves a little, maybe I'll go back to talking to them, as if yesterday never happened.
Walking down the stairs to the main hall, we both walked towards the corridor leading us to the cafeteria, not long as we walked down the corridor, we both arrived at the canteen.
The cafeteria was just like usual, filled with pupils filling their stomachs after spending half a day studying in the classroom.
Going to the usual place to pick up the dishes, queuing up to get some food, once we could, we both went to the empty dining table.
The food I took was a fruit salad for dessert, then for the main course there was bread with meat sausage. For my own drink I choose broccoli juice.
Natasha took soup for the main course, just like me she chose fruit salad for dessert, and green tea for drinks.
We both ate the food without saying much. I appreciate Natasha's attitude. He knew that I didn't talk much when I ate the food, so he was more silent than forced to look for the topic.
As we finished half of our meal, we had an unexpected guest.
"Excuse me~~" The seat next to me that is still empty was immediately picked up by someone else.
Then there was one more person sitting across the table, next to the one who was sitting first.
"Why are you here?" Natasha asked with a skeptical face.
"To eat of course." Answer the person across the table.
The ones who came were my three classmates, who else if not Alexandria who was sitting to my left, then there was Dani and Raihan sitting across the table.
"No... My question is..." Natasha wanted to ascertain the intent of the question, but she immediately stopped it, not wanting to make the atmosphere awkward anymore.
I can tell you what Natasha's question is. "Why are you here? Don't you still think of Mira as an enemy?" Maybe that's what he was asking.
It seems that it was not only me who understood the meaning of the question Natasha, one of my classmates, Alexandria more precisely, started to stick her head on the table. Perhaps he intended to bend but due to the matter of body position, he could not do that, choosing to stick his head on the table, intending to lower himself.
"Sorry Mira." He said in a voice filled with regret. "We were mean to you, but we knew you were the one who tried the most to help Raihan, but we were..."
"No need to zoom in" I said as Dani and Raihan followed Alexandria's steps, sticking their heads on the table. "I was also wrong, injuring Raihan and causing a split in the class."
The three of them raised their heads. "It turns out you're more stoic than I thought." Dani said with sarcasm.
"Well, my nature from the beginning was. So sorry if we're often not as frequency." Say it before you finally continue eating my food.
"A-Anu... Miras..." Raihan opened his mouth, speaking to me with a trembling voice. "I'm sorry for what I said yesterday."
I chewed on the food in my mouth, swallowed it, before I answered Raihan's apology. "I told you, didn't I? No need to zoom in. I was wrong yesterday."
"Be-so... Thank you Mira, for helping me."
"Now! The matter has been resolved in a peaceful manner!" Alexandria said in a tone that was inversely proportional to the previous one, she spoke up filled with a tone of vigor and a happy expression on her face. "After knowing the problem with Raihan's magic, we should think of the next plan to completely solve Raihan's problem." Alexandria continued before she finally looked at me.
Everyone followed Alexandria's eyes, looking at me with hopeful eyes.
Seriously...? After doing evil to me, apologizing lightly, they still asked me to think of further plans? Seeing their current behavior made me think they were apologizing to me just to take advantage of me.
It's not wrong if I think like that right now.
But it cannot be denied, if I am the one who started all these plans, so obviously they think that I have also thought about the final plan of Raihan's problem.
I let out a long breath as I swallowed my food. Give answers to them.
"none. There's nothing more we have to do."
"Geeeh...." Alexandria said in a disappointed tone.
"Seriously...? After hearing my explanation yesterday you still don't know the main problem? The main problem we face is the head of the Adaka family. He's the source of Raihan's imperfect transformation magic."
"Then how should we finish it... Wait, don't tell me..."
"It looks like you've been expecting it, Dani. The next step really depends on Raihan."
