My Crazy Rich - Ard

My Crazy Rich - Ard
Chapter 20: The Play

Hanna suddenly widened her eyes until it was perfectly rounded, to the point that the wrinkles began to close the lines on her forehead. How could a poor man like Rich know that. However, the manager who again nudged Rich made Hanna not want to show anger. Anyway there's Reymond here, just hold it.

Hanna laughed wryly in the making. "Mr Reymond, looks like your employees are quite humorous? He's so funny."

"Why? Should I fire him to satisfy you, Miss?" Reymond satirically spoke, but what Hanna caught was the opposite.

Hanna thought that Reymond would do anything for her. She should not behave like a calculating stepmother, it is better to be a fairy godmother with tenderness of heart.

"Don't be like that, Mr. Rey. I know you're well-intentioned. But if you fire him …." For a moment Hanna stopped the sentence to glance at Rich, she tried to find the right words to look wise. "Then I'll feel guilty later. Looking for a job today is not easy for an uneducated person. I don't want to sin by deciding on someone else's source of income."

Almost Reymond laughed at Hanna's classic reasoning. It's funny, and so touching at the same time. For those who can't read the skit, of course.

As a professional actress. Of course Reymond perfectly understood the character of the woman in front of him. Although he had never come into contact with a woman before, at least he was quite good at reading such cheap skits.

Reymond nodded small. "Well, if that's what you want, Miss Hanna. Then let me give a little punishment to my employees. At least that way my self-esteem as a leader in this company is not looked at low."

Rey gestured the manager to take Hanna and her assistant out.

The manager understood Reymond's intentions. He immediately moved and allowed Hanna to follow him. "Then let me escort you out, Miss."

"But—but, what about him?" Hanna was trying to find a reason to stay there. He didn't want to just go out without getting anything from Reymond, even if it was just an invitation to eat together.

"Let me handle it as I should. Leave it all to me," Reymond said casually.

"Come, Miss!" Although it was difficult, the manager continued to try to persuade and invite Hanna to come out. He knew that if Hanna didn't come out soon something would happen. Seeing Reymond's discomfort, he immediately left his own room.

Irritatedly Hanna stepped out. Not yet he invited Reymond to dinner together, now even subtly expelled. He should have moved fast. That's right what the news says outside, if a Reymond Day is too hard to get close to. Even he was rumored to like the same sex. Did Reymond like Office Boy? thought.

"How was your life these few days?" ask Reymond.

"You should know, Uncle. No need to pretend well. Isn't this what you wanted?" Cynical Richard.

Being an Office Boy is not easy. Tired in the body, of course Rich felt it, not to mention having to endure the pain of being injured the other day and pretending in front of everyone who insulted him.

Before long, the ringing of the phone in Rich's pocket distracted the man.

Richard took the phone in his pocket. Ramon's name is on his usual phone screen. Without wasting any time, Richard raised the call.

The panicked tone across caused Richard's countenance to instantly change. Highlight his guts and fists looked so strong, that they displayed blue muscles on the back of his hand.

"I'll be there soon" Richard said before disconnecting.

"What's wrong?" Ask Reymond.

"It's none of your business." Without a doubt Richard simply moved from his position. He was about to walk away, but was stopped by his uncle.

"Go home tonight. You didn't forget Papa's birthday today?" Reymond said while holding his nephew's wrist.

Richard nodded small. For a moment indeed he forgot if his grandfather had a birthday today. I don't know how many years he hasn't celebrated with his grandfather. Maybe today he should have made up for all the mistakes in missing that important day in the past.

"Be careful on the road" Reymond messages before letting Richard go.
