My Crazy Rich - Ard

My Crazy Rich - Ard
Chapter 16: Not Human

Richard drove the vehicle at high speed to get to his destination immediately. The whole day was despised by people who only saw the outside, making him angry. He really needs an anger outburst this time.

It does not take long the car began to enter a remote area where there are no other buildings around. Upon arrival at the place, Rich headed straight for the basement and the woman followed behind him.

"How many people did you bring there?" Rich asked while putting on gloves and also a mask. Not many know who he really is, not even his uncle. If only they knew his true identity, to look into his eyes would definitely not dare, let alone challenge death by insulting him.

"Eight people. One of the leaders."

The woman opened the door. The smell of the basement was already there. Added to the dim atmosphere and the smell of rancid, causing Rich's curved lips to enjoy it with eyes closed for a moment. He sat in a special chair for her. Rich stared cynically at the men who could no longer dwell.

“Hei! Whoareyou? Why arrest us, huh?” the screams of one of the men attacking Richard sounded so clear. Now they are sitting tied to a chair with a head covering in a room. Eight people were arrested without them knowing why.

"Open their headgear" Rich ordered.

Rich's men removed the attackers' headgear, revealing the faces of men with black skin and long braggles on the chin that added to the horrific impression. There were also those who had some scar incisions, visible so clearly on their faces. No problem for Richard.

"Master, who are you? We don't have any problems with other gangsters. Especially ... if you're a mobster" the man said, looking at the people around them.

"really? Is it so easy for you to forget me?" Eagle eyes that cross with a terrible aura, plus a grin when Richard's hand opens the mask that covers his face, managed to make their hearts stop beating right then and there.

"You?" Everyone who knew that face turned their eyes. It was only a few hours ago that they parted ways, but it seemed that Rich did not intend to let them go for a second.

"still recognize me?" His flat voice caused the aura Richard exuded to be completely different from before.

However, it seems that the attackers are still unaware that their lives are on the threshold between life and death. "Based coward! How dare you attack from behind!" Shouted one of the men while trying to spit towards Rich.

A laughter filled the room. Like a demon ready to plunge humans into hell, Richard looks increasingly terrible. For those unaware, it might just be thought it was an understatement laugh.

But not for the group's leader. He was well aware that the man in front of him was no ordinary figure, like the people he had faced before.

Richard's laughter ended with a long sigh. "It's a pity that you're still not aware of this situation." He then stood up from his position, stepped closer while putting both hands into his pocket. "But it seems your laughter is not a fool," Rich said, full of intrigue and expression like a Chucky doll.

"What do you want?" ask the group leader without further ado when the faces of the two are only a few inches away.

This time a round of applause from Richard sounded so clear. He turned around and smiled. "I like your intelligence."

"Chairman, why be afraid of someone like him, huh? He was just a useless man who dared to attack from behind." Shouted another man. He felt proud because he had previously managed to hurt Rich. In his heart thought that Rich was nothing without the people around him who were now catching them.

"really so. Keep insulting me so I don't need any more excuses to finish you off. But, be patient for a moment! I'll play around with you after this" Rich told the man. He then returned to see the leader of the group. "I'll give you one chance. I am usually not a kind person. But, how else. I think I should do good today. Say it! Who's the one who paid you to attack me tonight? I'll reconsider how your future will be." The man stared hard at them. Rich is not his name if he is afraid just by looking at the faces of the man in front of him.

The faces were disdainful, but turned into starving stray cats when their lives were already on the verge.

"You're just a useless poor man. What can you do to us, huh!" A man again shouted mockingly at Rich. Succeeding when once attacked too makes him arrogant, even though Richard actually deliberately let himself get hurt during the fight earlier.

The woman beside Rich who was furious with the man's ridicule also hit the face of the man who spoke rudely to Richard strongly. "So talk! Your mouth is too dirty."

"I'll show you what it's like to be a useless poor man!" Rich approached the man with a horrible grin. He opened the folding dagger he was carrying and pointed it at the man's face as if stroking it. "Your mouth is too small to speak, what if I spread it? Let's see if you can talk more?"

The other men shuddered in horror watching with their own eyes, their faces deathly pale, the scene in front of him was too terrifying when compared to a horror movie. They thought the man in front of him was not a human. More like the incarnation of a human-shaped demon.

"Hows it? Can you talk more this time? Oh yeah, your mouth's so dirty, let him help you clean it." Richard turned around while wiping the blood stuck to the dagger with a cloth. "Push him with vinegar water!" His orders to the men.

A man immediately doused the man with a bucket of vinegar water. The sound of shouting was getting louder and louder filling the room from just a man. Meanwhile, the friends who saw him were horrified to hear the pain of their friend. Not a single person dared to swallow, even to breathe as if he was no longer able.

"If you don't tell me who was behind the attack. Don't expect to get out of here!" Richard spoke casually while drinking the whiskey that was on the table. The torture that had just happened seemed to have made no impression on Richard and was just like the wind. Not disgusting, let alone horrible for him.

"We're just fools trying to rob without knowing who you are, sir. Please forgive our carelessness," the chairman told a lie.

"Should I cut your heirloom? I don't need your bullshit. You must know what I mean." Rich's resolute voice made some of his men instantly tear off the man's pants. The dagger had previously played in Rich's hands, while the chairman felt he had misspoken this time.

"Mr Ben." The chairman mentioned Rachel's father's name as Richard's hand got closer to his goal.

"I like your honesty. Cih, you should have said that since then. So my throat won't dry from yelling. Tell him what you did for him!" Rich returned back to his steps and sat down on the chair while returning to drinking whiskey. The hearing he had prepared for all the information he would get this time.

Repeatedly Richard nodded as the chairman told him a story. Occasionally his expression changed, but was still able to withstand the emotions by clenching his hands.

A long breath sounded heavy. Richard momentarily fell silent at the thought of how his plan was going forward.

"Tu—tuan's. All the information we know I have told you. You're not gonna kill us, are you?" asked the chief a little nervously.

Richard slightly washed his lips, as if he was thinking. He called one of the men and gave a signal. "Take them off, except him!"

A Richard card was given next to the chairman's hand. "Namanu Alex, right?"

The man nodded in response.

"In there is a certain amount of money that you can use for anything. I don't give a shit. Do your job as usual! And tell the old man as he should. I'll let him, after all I've been hurt, he must be quite satisfied with your performance. But for every piece of information I want later, you have to prepare it. Let him be content to insult me, until at last, he will cry blood for me."

Rich's gaze turned to the man he had tortured before. "He! Just throw it in the crocodile swamp in the back, I don't need a talkative person. Besides, Coco's kasian, it's been a few days not getting fresh meat rations." Rich ordered on his men.

"Well, sir," replied Rich's men.

Richard's body was about to turn around, but his head turned a glance.

"If you want to divulge about me to someone else or betray me, go ahead! But, don't blame me if you can't meet your little daughter. Didn't believe? Just try!"

Alex turns back to hear Rich's threat. It was only a few hours ago that their group was assigned to teach him a lesson, but it turned out that the man even knew his weakness very quickly. "A—I understand."

"Pretend we never met tonight." Rich resumed his steps, leaving the basement behind. He took out a cigar when he arrived outside, enjoying the breeze of the night. There was only the woman still following him from behind.

"What are your plans this time?" asked the woman while handing a pill to Rich.

"You'll know later."
