"I love you Elle." said Erlang very slowly.
"What?" said Elena who turned her gaze towards Erlang. He did not hear what Erlang said because of the loud sound of fireworks.
"What are you saying" he said again when he saw the response of Erlang who just silently looked at him.
"Nothing" Erlang said after thinking for a moment.
"Right, I think you said something."
Elena was not so concerned because what was so alluring to her attention now was to enjoy the fireworks before it ended.
It might be better if it's like this first. I don't want you to stay away from me anymore just because I'm forcing my feelings too much.

The rush of rain made a very melodious rhythm as it fell forcefully onto the road, to the point that it gave off a thick smell that was so distinctive.
Accompanied by the breeze but able to make the hordes hanging beautifully moving left and right. Very suitable for people who are closing their eyes.
But unlike Elena, her eyes had absolutely no intention of resting. He wandered while leaning on the side of the bed. Erlang's sentence continued to echo in his ears.
Do what you think is right. Don't be afraid to start. Believe me, I'm here to support your every decision.
He looked back at the wrist that said his name. For a moment he chuckled while remembering the face of Erlang who also felt amused.
"Close friend." said Elena while remembering the incident when Erlang drove her after seeing the fireworks.
Flashbacks
"Erlang." call Elena before she gets down the car.
"Hmmm, what's wrong?" Erlang looked for a moment and then his gaze shifted focus on removing the seatbelt.
"What's the reason you took me to the festival and saw the fireworks?" for a moment Erlang's hand stopped his activity, he looked towards Elena who was focusing on seeing him.
"Because I want to" he said casually but not with Elena.
"I mean." asked Elena who was astonished, she continued to stare at Erlang who was busy with her activities.
"I'd really like to see fireworks. Because I don't have any friends so I'm taking you on." Erlang said after a while as if he was thinking about what he would say
"really?" Elena looked in disbelief. Didn't Erlang say that the fireworks were for him.
"Of course." so typical smile.
"Thank you" said Elena who did not really bother about it, because why debate her thought anyway she did not feel disadvantaged.
"Can we be close friends." Elena's words surprised Erlang.
"Friends close?" he scrunched his eyebrows. Wondering if he heard wrong.
"Yes a close friend." said Elena while nodding, she was so enthusiastic when saying the word.
"All right." Erlang's reply made a smile on Elena's lips.
Alright maybe a close friend is better for now but later I will slowly take your heart back Elena.

With the decision ripe, Elena plans to resign from the Bima company.
"For Elena's Mom." said Santi when Elena had just passed by the staff workspace.
"For Santi." she replied with a smile.
"My dad?" Elena was astonished, because she knew her father was doing well. Where did Santi hear such news he thought.
"Yes, Miss Elena's father hurts again? Mr. Bima said, Bu Elena again went to see Bu Elena's father who was sick, so Bu Elena took a few days off" explained Santi making Elena's daydreams disappear. Now answered is the question he is looking for the answer.
"Oh yes, thank God it is better now. Then I go upstairs first." he said while pointing towards the upper room.
"Yes ma'am, come on." Santi lowered his head and went back to his room.
Elena put her resignation letter on the table. He really made his decision.
His gaze stopped on a photograph lying not far from the letter he had placed.
"Why do you still keep my picture? If Mba Citra knew, it would definitely hurt her heart." while taking a photo of herself on the table.
"Elena" said Bima who had just come to surprise Elena. He was still standing at the door.
Sometimes he pats his cheeks trying to find his consciousness.
He smiles when he finds out he is not dreaming.
"Elena this is you, you're finally back." Bima held onto both of Elena's shoulders. He quickly embraced the figure.
No less quickly, Elena directly pushed Bima's body.
"Sorry sir, I'm just here to deliver my resignation letter." pointing to the letter on the table.
"Su-letter of resignation." said Bima stammered, looking at the letter that Elena had just put down.
"Yes sir, I'm sorry."
Elena lowered her head and intended to pack her belongings, but only a few steps of her arm were immediately strayed from behind
"Elena, you resigned because you wanted to avoid me right?" gripping Elena's arm firmly made the owner turn around quickly.
"I don't think it's appropriate to talk about personal matters in the office." said Elena who was justified by Bima.
With a glass of fresh drink on the table accompanied the two human beings who were raging with their minds.
"What does Elena's resignation mean?" the opening sentence that Bima blurted out after a moment of silence.
"As Mas knew the meaning of the letter." Elena's reply upset Bima.
"I-I mean it's not Elena, why did you suddenly resign? Do you really want to avoid me?" Bima tried to control his anger because he did not want to disturb other visitors.
"I don't intend to avoid you Mas." elaknya with a serious face.
"Why did you write your resignation letter?" bima's voice began to rise. He can no longer control his emotions.
"I just don't want any slander to arise between us. I also don't want to make Mba Citra think a no-no."
"You need to know Elena, I don't love the image one bit."
"But now Mba Citra is your wife Mas. Can't you appreciate it a little." he was really sincere when he said those words.
"Can't be Elena." Bima shook his head weakly. Implied a deep sadness from his own gaze
"Mas, please don't make things difficult." Elena moved from her position. He picked up the bag he had placed next to his seat.
"Elena" said Bima stopped the movement of Elena's hand. He saw a man's face that looked grim.
"Mas, live your new life. Do not let you regret it." then Elena left a deep wound in Bima's heart.
The man remained silent from his position, not knowing what he was thinking.
Elena returned to Bima's office, not to return to work but to clean up her belongings only after she returned home to calm her mind.
Elena rested for a moment while leaning on her sofa. He picked up a laptop and he typed something there.
Letter to apply for a job. That's what he's been typing for a few minutes.
His fingers continued to dance on the keyboard while occasionally he rested his head which was starting to feel tired.
"My decision is right" he said, reassuring himself. Tomorrow he will start looking for a new job.
