Chapter 74

Laurent tells Andrew that Jihan is back, but there is something that disturbs the little boy's mind that makes him look sad and uninspired.

Finally Andrew also invited Luna to go upstairs to meet Jihan, initially Luna was a bit hesitant because she could not remember anything, she was just afraid to disappoint the little girl.

Andrew tried to open the door to Jihan's room, but it was locked, not usually Jihan locked the room it made Andrew believe that something was troubling her little daughter's mind.

Andrew knocked on Jihan's bedroom door three times knocking. "This cocks papa, are you sleeping?" andrew said, but there was still no response, while Luna herself stood behind Andrew.

"This cocksucker, papa, are you really not opening the door?" Andrew asked again, hoping his daughter would open the door for him.

There was the sound of a key playing, and in the end Jihan opened the door she was seen lowering her head her face slightly red as if she had just cried.

"Hey baby, don't you miss papa?" Andrew asked as he opened his arms wide, ready to receive a hug from his daughter.

As soon as he saw Andrew's face, Jihan immediately went into the arms of the man he had considered his own father, Jihan still sounded sobbing, and it made Andrew's guess right that his daughter was crying.

"Hey, are you crying?" Andrew asked the girl who was still holding her daughter.

Jihan seemed to just shake her head, she still let go of the longing because her father left her.

"Jihan, papa has a surprise for you" said Andrew, taking off his arms at Jihan.

Jihan was curious what surprise her father had prepared for her, Andrew looked behind her and held Luna's hand so she could walk forward so Jihan could see her.

"Look" said Andrew, Luna put a smile on her face so that the girl called her daughter was happy.

Jihan's eyes widened when she saw who was in front of her, she seemed to want to scream and cry as loud as her firm, Jihan quickly hugged Luna, and Luna immediately returned the embrace with affection, she held him tightly, Luna could feel the bond between herself and the little girl.

"Mama, you're finally back" Jihan cried in Luna's arms.

"Yes my mom is back" said Luna, caressing and kissing the top of her daughter's head, and she threw a glance at Andrew.

Andrew approached and joined them, looking so harmonious as a whole family.

After the meeting they sat together in Jihan's room, and Jihan continued to hug her as if she did not want to let go.

"Jihan, said Uncle Laurent you weren't at school when he picked you up, where did you go?" Andrew asked her to investigate what had happened and where her daughter had gone.

Jihan took off her embrace, and she sat down properly, Andrew and Luna looking very seriously at Jihan.

"Last noon I..." Jihan started telling stories.

FLASHBACK THIS AFTERNOON

"How about we have lunch?" Asked Ken who had seen Jihan's attitude earlier.

"No need, I'm not hungry" replied Jihan ketus.

"If you don't want to, I'll still insist, find a good restaurant here" Ken told the driver.

Jihan just put on a face of annoyance and frown, she did not expect that her biological father was the type of a forced man.

They had arrived at a restaurant, and had already ordered some food, Jihan still had her upset face, and was reluctant to touch her food.

"Eat a little, though" asked Ken subtly.

"No," Jihan turned her face towards her right side.

Ken also put his dinnerware, leaning the elbow of his right hand on the table and the palm of his hand propped his chin.

"Is that how much you hate your real father?" Ask ken who is looking at Jihan.

Jihan only glanced slightly at Ken then threw her gaze away again.

"I know I have many faults, but I am just a human being who never escapes, and do you think I have no other chance to make amends?" Ken asked, he raised his hand from the table then he leaned on the back of the chair, his gaze still fixed on Jihan back then Jihan was still silent.

"I know I'm wrong, but if I don't deserve another chance, I just want to be a good man and a good father, when I lost your mama I realized that I had taken off a beautiful jewel, and even more regretful when I found out that we had a daughter like you, your mama never once told me about your whereabouts, if I don't know anything about you, am I wrong? Is being a good guy wrong?" Ken asked and wanted to shake the little boy's heart.

Jihan was still silent, although she refused to admit but her heart was a little moved, however since childhood she missed a figure of her biological father very much, even though Andrew had filled the emptiness of his heart, it was still incomplete for him.

"Damn, I won't force you to come with me, but at least give me a chance so I can get closer to you and understand you, however I'm still your father, after all, please give me a chance to make amends for all the mistakes I've done" Ken said.

Jihan seemed to slightly change her expression, then she turned her eyes to the man in front of her, she saw there was a seriousness in the eyes of the man who became her real father, she said, although at first he hated the man for abandoning him and his mother but still the relationship between Father and son between them he could never lose.

"Do you promise not to force me, nor will you abandon me again?" Ask Jihan.

"I promise, I won't force you to leave your current papa, I just need a little time to understand" Ken said.

Jihan seemed to think again, she did not know if her decision was right, but the inner struggle she felt shook the confidence that had been instilled in her about her father, in the end he just wants to feel what it's like to be with the father he's been missing for all those years.

In the end, Jihan agrees to Ken's request to give him a chance to prove that he is worthy and serious about being a good father to her, after which Ken sends Jihan back to Andrew's house.

FLASHBACK IS OVER

Jihan told Andrew everything, except for the part where she accepted Ken's request that she didn't tell him, she was afraid that he wouldn't agree, and that was what caused the anxiety in the little girl's heart, she was afraid to lie to her papa but she also wanted to feel the affection of her biological father, so there was a strong inner struggle in her heart.
