Nadia helps Diah to tidy up her dorm room, actually does not need to be tidied up again because three roommates have cleaned the room so they only need to put their belongings. This dormitory room is neither too big nor small, it is quite fitting for four teenage girls to occupy this room.
This room had two bunk beds, and Diah got the upper bed to the right because it was the only one that was empty, a large table was located between the two beds with each seat on each side. There are two medium-sized cabinets and shoe racks near the door, not to mention there is also a bathroom in the dorm room so that residents of the dormitory building do not need to crammed if using it.
"It looks like you got a pretty good hostel friend," Nadia commented after seeing the entire dorm room was quite clean and tidy.
"Who knows," replied Diah indifferently while closing his closet, fortunately there was still room left to put his clothes.
"Don't work hard, you'll make better friends" Nadia said. "Let's go see Indra mas," he asked.
Diah nodded her head and stood up after putting her suitcase under the bed.
Nadia picked up the school map she had placed on the big table. "The school is big enough to need a map" Nadia complained. "If you don't memorize it soon, you may be lost." He handed the map to Diah and then opened the door and exited.
Diah closed the door quietly and stared at the map in her hand. "I've never heard of a school on the edge of town like this."
"This is a private school that was established not long ago, although it is still fairly new but the facilities and quality of teachers here are quite good comparable to other public schools or prestigious private schools." Nadia had seen this school information from the internet so she knew a little.
Diah nodded in understanding and followed Nadia to the cooperative near the second-floor cafeteria, where they would meet Indra and pick up the school uniform she would wear tomorrow.
The journey from the female dormitory to the main building of the school is not too far away, it only takes 5 minutes on foot and they will pass through the basketball court and flower garden that they had passed earlier.
Diah stared at his new school and was a little satisfied with his appearance, compared to the school was very good but he was not sure about the contents. His experience used to teach him not to look at the outside just before judging it.
They finally reached the second floor and saw Indra standing with a woman and chatting together. They approach him and make Indra stop the conversation and introduce his friend.
"Include him my friend and the English teacher at this school is Anna."
Diah reached out her hand and shook Anna's hand to introduce herself.
"If you need help, you can call me" Anna said with a smile.
Diah nodded in understanding and returned her smile.
"Hurry in to take your uniform size." Indra circulated her chin gesturing for Nadia to follow him.
Nadia understood his signal and led Diah towards the cooperative. "Come on Diah!"
Upon seeing their departure, Indra turned towards Anna and reminded her. "Please remember what I said."
Anna nodded in understanding and gave him a small smile. "I know."
ooo
After picking up the school uniform and equipment, he immediately takes her into the dormitory with Nadia's help. Along the way back he saw students who had left their classes because it was time for a break. Many go to the cafeteria or play on the field to simply relieve fatigue after studying in class.
Diah tightened her grip on the box containing her school uniform while looking at people passing by. He wasn't sure if his decision to move to this school was right or wrong, would the events like the old days ever come back?
"Let them be different from your old school, don't think negatively." Nadia was aware of the atmosphere of her future sister-in-law and gave her advice.
"Maybe you'll find something rare here."
Diah did not understand what Nadia meant, she tilted her head and looked at her confusedly.
"You'll understand." Nadia simply gave him a smile and pulled his hand.
ooo
After putting all her belongings in the dorm room, Diah walked towards the parking lot to send her brother and Nadia away.
"If there's a need for anything don't forget to call me ok." Indra raised her right hand and patted Diah on the head.
Diah just rolled her eyes in the face of exaggerated attitude. "I'm not a kid anymore."
"But still underage," cried Indra.
"I'm 18 years old" replied Diah.
"You sure?" Indra brazenly looked at Diah from top to bottom and doubted him.
"..."
"If I hadn't seen you grow up since I was a kid, I would have thought you were still Junior."
"..."
"How come you're this short when our family is quite tall."
"..."
"When I was pregnant I drank the wrong milk?"
Diah tidied up her sleeves and approached Indra full of anger, even though she was her own sister, she did not care! Diah was eager to beat him to the brink!
"Stop mocking your sister otherwise she'll whine her way home" Nadia tries to stop Diah because she doesn't want to have a date with a battered face.
Diah snorted in annoyance and gave her brother the middle finger. "You're a suitable couple." Exasperatedly he left the two of them without looking back.
"BODO VERY!!!"
Ooo
Nightfall.
The young man immediately turned his bicycle steering and entered the large gate that had been opened by the security guard who had recognized him, he greeted him with a small smile and replied with a nod by the security guard. He did not inferiorly use an ordinary bicycle as he entered the stately house with the fountain garden in the middle and the mermaid statue by his side.
Not much has changed from this house since the last time he came here. There is a gazebo near the fish pond on the right side of the house and a flower garden on the left. Large pillars fill the building of the house and green paint coats the walls with vines that run through the walls.
Once seen clearly the homeowner really likes plants and flowers because many are planted around the house. It looks magnificent yet elegant that blends with nature and spoils the eyes.
The young man parked his bike near the stairs and soon entered the house, breaking the bell on the right side of the door and waiting for the owner to open it.
Ting\~\~\~ Tong\~\~\~
Not long ago the door finally opened and saw a middle-aged woman who looks in her 40s but still maintains her beauty, there was no white hair on her hair and only a small wrinkle in the corner of her eye signified her age.
The middle-aged woman smiled looking at the young man in front of her. "Rifan you finally visited auntie too."
"Good night Aunt Tika," The young man named Rifan smiled amiably. "Sorry come night and disturb aunt."
"No no." Aunt Tika flicked her hand slowly and opened the door wide. "Let's go in too cold outside."
Rifan did not hesitate and immediately entered the house of Aunt Tika, he circulated his gaze to see the figure he wanted to meet.
"Your om is in his study." Aunty Tika understood the purpose of her view and immediately informed her husband's location. "Meet him and Auntie will cook first."
Aunt Tika left Rifan and walked towards the kitchen, she had left her cooking and could not stay with Rifan for too long. After all he was used to coming here and he let him freely explore his home.
Rifan nodded and thanked him, he did not want to disturb Aunt Tika's cooking activities and went up to the second floor, where his om workspace was located. He is quite familiar with this house and it is not difficult to find his destination, not far from the stairs to the right and then turn to the left aisle.
He politely shaped the door and heard an inside answer that allowed him to enter.
He opened the door and saw a middle-aged man sitting with a pile of documents on the table and a laptop that was left on, he wore a blue sleeping kimono that was worn loosely and showed his chest and stomach. Her clothes look more casual than the formal clothes she usually wears at work that feel suffocating to her.
The middle-aged man put away the documents in front of his face and smiled looking at who was coming. "Oh you're coming."
Rifan nodded and walked up to him, he sat down in his desk chair and opened his phone to do something. After he finished he placed his phone on the table and looked at the middle-aged man with a serious face.
"Om Ben I'm sending you extra money for investment" Rifan said as he chopped his head with his right hand and tapped on the table slowly.
Om Ben pulled out his phone and looked at the notification that just came in. "You're getting more money than you did last month."
Rifan only cleared his throat in return.
"Where will you invest?" ask Om Ben while sipping his coffee slowly.
"Local network security company," replied Rifan seriously.
Om Ben scrunched his forehead and looked at Rifan uncertainly. "Too risky."
Rifan sighed because he realized it, it is risky to invest in network security companies because the technology in this country is not as advanced as other countries and still rely on foreign companies for advanced technology products. But this is also a great opportunity to master the local market.
"Om you also realize that if I invest with a foreign company the price I have to pay is quite expensive and not very influential, it is not worth it and just a waste of resources. I'd better invest in a local company and then grow it."
"This move looks risky but it is enough to instill roots in this country."
Om Ben sighed and leaned his body into the chair. "Your words make sense."
"If you want to destroy a big tree, you have to cut it slowly." Rifan picked up the scissors nearby and stared at the flower in the vase. "Little by little to cut off their power." He cut the leaves of the flowers one by one.
"Then directly crush it with one step," Rifan cut off the flower stalk and let it fall. "And get rid of the roots so as not to cause trouble ahead."
Rifan put the grout and took the petals and then grasped it until it was destroyed regardless of the small thorn that hurt his palm.
Om Ben mused since then agreed, indeed to destroy the trees that have been rooted in this country need to pay a price that is expensive. And his family's company can't handle it on its own without help from the other side.
"Om trust in your judgment." He is very confident in the assessment of the young man in front of him, although he looks young in his way of handling business quite cleverly like an old fox in the business world, he said, his intuition was quite precise and he could use a small opportunity to produce big things without having to pay a heavy price.
Sometimes he feels inferior to this young man despite having a lot of experience in the business world, with his extraordinary ability it is not difficult to develop network security in this country.
Om Ben grinned inwardly and mocked the great tree that had thrown away a seed as good as this, if they are not too blind and throw it away then this young man can lead them to the glory days even foreign companies have to think twice about fighting it.
Unfortunately they smashed rocks at their own feet and made this young man an enemy. His decision to join this young man and fight them was the right decision and he would not regret it.
"Which company do you want to invest in?" ask Om Ben to be curious.
Rifan took his phone and showed Om Ben something. "I'll buy shares of this company."
