My boyfriend is too lazy

My boyfriend is too lazy
CHAPTER 22 - Shopping

"Do you have any other activities after school?" ask Rifan after class.

Diah who was putting her book into the bag paused for a moment then shook her head. His after-school activities are usually just staying in dorm rooms and doing chores.

"Good then, I want to take you somewhere," said Rifan breathing a sigh of relief.

"Where?" ask Diah.

"To the supermarket, this morning Mboh Nah asked me to go shopping because the groceries at home were almost exhausted." When he said 'home' as if it was the place of the two of them.

"I don't think I can, I have to copy the note." He has not finished copying Maja's notes therefore he rejected Rifan's invitation.

Rifan just rolled his eyes because Diah rejected him for that reason, he knew that Diah was smart enough from during his observations during these few days, it seemed like he was a learning maniac and always wanted to get the best grades. Did her parents lead her to be the best?

"Has your parents forced you to keep learning?" His eyes narrowed dangerously.

Diah shook her head, her parents never forced her to study and get good grades. They always let him do what he likes and will not force. "No, I love to learn."

Seeing no significant change in expression from Diah made Rifan breathe a sigh of relief, it was fortunate that his parents did not force it. "Then please accompany me to the supermarket, after all you've eaten a lot of food." Rifan seduces Diah by wiggling the bag in front of her face.

Diah glared at the shameless Rifan, didn't she herself offer him the food. If he knew that Rifan would use it as debt then he would not eat it at all!

"I don't know which groceries are good, so please help me choose them," Pinta Rifan once again.

"Eh, haven't you worked at the minimarket?" Instantly Diah recalled that when they met for the first time, Rifan was a minimarket employee near her housing complex.

Rifan threw an accusatory look towards Diah. "I was fired" he said casually as if it was nothing serious.

"Ah fired?" Actually Diah was curious why Rifan worked in the minimarket, not that he could eat on the third floor which was very expensive. It's so weird where he got all that money?

Did he rob?

Or was it a fight with his father that his ATM card was blocked?

Diah think the latter is the most appropriate, is not a lot of second generation rich children who like to boast of their parents' property.

Rifan was fired from his job, maybe he did not feel at home and finally quit his job and apologized to his father and got his ATM card back.

The second generation of rich kids.

"I know that you won't last long there" he sneered as he recalled his brazen behavior to customers.

Rifan felt strange for not being able to interpret Diah's gaze then grabbed her shoulder. "Aren't you the one who got me fired?" He tried to remind her.

"Ah me?" He looked at her in disbelief.

"Don't remember?" Rifan refrains from bullying Diah any further. "You gave me such a bad review that I didn't concentrate on working and ended up getting fired."

Diah's mouth opened slightly upon hearing Rifan's words, he immediately let go of his ladder and sneered in a low voice. "You're so brash and deserve bad reviews anyway."

Rifan increasingly pulled the corners of his lips and wrapped around Diah's waist with his arms. "Don't you have to take responsibility for causing me to be fired and by the way I haven't made any calculations with you." He blew air into Diah's ear.

Diah shuddered in horror and her ears turned red, she tried to break away from Rifan because she could not cry out for help because this class was deserted and most of the students had gone home.

"Please me!"

Rifan did not comply with his request and instead strengthened his embrace. "No, until you agree to come with me to the supermarket!"

Diah was as strong as she could against Rifan but all her efforts ended in vain, the power of the two of them was very different and it was clear that Diah would lose to her.

"Take me off!"

"No!" Rifan brought his head closer to Diah's ear and bit him with anxiety.

Diah's face turned red with Rifan's actions and finally chose a compromise, if they continue like this then there is no good ending for Diah and it is better for him to comply with Rifan's request.

"I agree with you." His breathing was frenzied and he pinched Rifan's arm to let go. "Take me off!"

Rifan smiled happily and finally let go of his embrace, he berlutu in front of Diah to offer his back. "Let's go up."

Diah resignedly climbed onto his back and wrapped his hands around Rifan's neck.

Basic forger!

ooo

"Where do you think is good?" Rifan was confused to choose vegetables and asked Diah's opinion.

"This is it!" Diah took a bunch of fresh vegetables and put them on the trolley.

"I know you will be useful if I invite you," Rifan said as he hummed slightly.

Diah just rolled her eyes and put other vegetables into the trolley, there were already many groceries they bought and there were also some snacks. They also shop for personal needs such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc. Of course it was a necessity for Rifan and Diah did not buy it.

Now that they were in the vegetable and meat area that became their final destination, Rifan always asked Diah's opinion because he could not distinguish which one was good, in his eyes all looked the same. Rifan took a lot of groceries until the trolley was full but he did not stop.

"Pick whatever you like, I won't eat it anyway" Diah said, shaking his hand.

Rifan frowned unhappily. "I bought you these groceries because you didn't look like it when we ate on the third floor" he said attentively.

Diah feels wrong and does not know what to behave like, how can Rifan know that he is not comfortable eating at the kanti luxury? Did he notice her?

"You don't have to do anything troublesome like this, I can eat on the second or first floor," he said grimacingly looking at the groceries on the trolley, it was really a lot.

"The food there is not good enough and a lot of micin is added, it is not good for health.," said Rifan advising him

"I don't think it's that bad." Diah shook her head in disagreement.

"Didn't our classmates look fine after eating there, after all the food there is quite pocket-friendly," he argued.

Rifan still wants to argue with Diah. "No, the food there is not good, I better ask Mboh Nah to cook for you."

"I don't want to bother him." Diah disagrees.

"That's mbok Nah's job," argued Rifan.

They are still arguing like a couple who are fighting to attract attention. If others did not hear their original conversation, then most of the people would have thought that Rifan was scolding Diah. Especially when they argued once in a while Diah's little body would tremble like it was being oppressed.

"Yooo. I think mat ague is wrong, it turns out it's lo Fan."

There was a voice interrupting their conversation and Reynaldi was seen walking closer while embracing a woman.

"Well, why are you here?" Rifan frowned.

"Bego ya lo? What else am I doing here if not shopping" Reynaldi sneered as he rolled his eyes.

"Bego ngatai bego, not self-conscious huh lo?" Rifan gives a low look and gives a reminder that Reynaldi values freefall underneath.

"Damn it lo!" Reynaldi refrained from reaching for Rifan's collar to hit him in public, not wanting to get involved with the supermarket security.

"Diah don't want to be like this guy." Since it could not win from Rifan it was better for him to target Diah. "Gue has a lot of handsome guy acquaintances that you can choose as long as you don't be with this pig guy!" point it towards Rifan while grinning.

Diah just chuckled as awkwardly standing between them, she did not know what to respond to Reynaldi's offer.

"Lo want to seduce my girl?" Rifan opened his eyes in annoyance and grabbed the collar of his clothes.

"Bro she's not a lo girl!" Reynaldi only chuckled as Rifan was consumed by his provocation. "So he's free to choose which one." Toying with Rifan is fun for Reynaldi, although he often gets replies from Rifan and he never gets bored.

If it wasn't for Diah, Rifan was sure that his fist would have landed on Reynaldi's arrogant face and made the ravenous playboy lament his handsome face.

"Don't fight!" Diah tries to separate them and pulls Rifan away. "Let's go to the cashier to pay for it."

Rifan is still glaring at Reynaldi but he keeps following Diah. "Look in the room!"

Diah feels that the word Rifan says is a bit strange in her ear, she knows that Rifan is rooming with Reynaldi and Abi. But when he said he would wait for her in the room, somehow his mind wandered to something else to make his cheeks flushed in shame.

Looks like he's been contaminated by Ines and Siti.

Eventually she will become a rotten woman like them.
