For almost 8 months, Rara worked as Daniel's personal secretary. All his work he did very well. Honestly, Daniel very much praised the workings of Rara which he thought better than the previous secretary.

At first Daniel is awkwardly called 'Father' by Rara, but considering they are superiors and subordinates, Daniel doesn't mind it. The most important thing is the work that comes first.

"Did I have an appointment today?" Daniel asked Rara formally.

Rara checked Daniel's schedule on his tablet.

"Father there is a lunch appointment today with the chairman of YNC Corp, and there is a meeting later in the afternoon at 3 pm." Then Rara put the tablet back.

"You'll come with me to lunch later." Daniel then went back to his desk

Rara just nodded in agreement.

Rara glanced at the clock in her hand, getting ready - ready to accompany Daniel to lunch as well as meeting with Daniel's client.

"I'm ready sir." Rara reminded Daniel.

"Oh well, let's go." Daniel stood up and walked out ahead of Rara.

On the way as usual there was only silence between them. If there is nothing important Rara or Daniel prefers silence. But this time Daniel wanted to ask Rara something.

"Ra, can I have something?" Daniel looked at Rara.

"Please. As long as it's not personal." Rara answered as she looked straight ahead.

"That egg, who used to call you and call you mother, is that your biological child? Are you married?" Ask Daniel.

"Sorry sir, I can't answer that. Because it's my privacy." Rara answered a little.

"Can you just talk normally, don't be so formal if we're out of the office?" Daniel feels uncomfortable with Rara who still speaks formally even outside the office.

"Well if that's what you're asking for" Rara replied, changing the way she spoke to Daniel.

" What's your answer, Ra?" Daniel still demands an answer from Rara.

"Which one?" Rara asked pretending to forget.

Because questions like this are what Rara fears. Rara is afraid that if Daniel finds out who Ria Dan Rio really is, Daniel will take them away from her.

"About your status. Because on your CV it is not written that your status is married. I don't want anyone to misunderstand in the office about you." Daniel gave his explanation.

Rara smiled wryly at Daniel's words while folding both her hands on her chest.

"What do you care if people look down on me just because I have children without a husband? I'm sure it won't make your shares plummet. Don't you?" Rara said cynically.

It felt like Daniel would silence Rara's mouth with a kiss. This woman is really stubborn and a little selfish. It was very different from the Rara he knew back then. But Daniel realized, Rara's change that now must be mostly there for himself in it.

"Ra, please." Daniel said pleading.

Rara turned to her right side and looked at Daniel slightly sharply. "Yes, they're my real children. They were born twins. They are currently 4.5 years old. I don't have a husband. Because the one who should be my husband suddenly died before he even knew I was pregnant." finished saying, Rara returned to her original position of sitting.

From his tone of voice, Daniel knew Rara was venting her emotions. Because what? Daniel still doesn't know.

The driver who took them was silent. He just focused on running his car.

"Is there anything else you want to ask?" Rara continued as her hand she folded in front of her chest. Impressed haughty indeed. But Rara ignored him.

"No, that's enough" Daniel stuttered.

Daniel felt something strange, and was curious. I have to figure this out, her mind. But if he asks again it will be a new problem later. So Daniel would rather keep his mouth shut. He was so confused, actually who is the boss here??

After finishing lunch Rara and Daniel immediately returned to the office. Because Rara had to prepare presentation materials for her afternoon meeting. Rara occasionally glanced at the clock on her left wrist, while her hands were busy with her laptop keyboard. Weary. That's what Rara feels right now. But this work must be done, and he does not want to waste time. Because of his desire, after the office work was finished, went home, and hugged his two children. Ah, Rara misses them so much right now.

"Hello Marwah, what's wrong?" Rara answered her phone from her babysitter.

"What's up?? Don't you scare me!!" Shouted Rara who looked very panicked.

And his rising voice had made Daniel aghast on the seat. Yes, Daniel is seriously reading the financial budget report for his big project next month. Instantly he stops his activities and notices Rara who is panicking talking on the phone.

"A-ade's in the hospital right now ma'am." Marwah answered fear - fear.

" What???" Rara's voice grew shocked.

" What hospital??

"Wait for me there!!"

Rara immediately cleaned up the table and the goods. He walked over to Daniel in a hurry.

"Ra, what's wrong??" Ask Daniel

"I want to go home. My son went to the hospital. I ask permission not to be able to attend the meeting today." said Rara as her eyes glazed - the glass held back her tears and wanted to rush out of the room.

But Rara did not leave the room, Daniel held his hand.

"I'm taking it"

Without saying much Daniel pulled Rara's hand out of the room. Rara tried to let go of her hand, but Daniel strengthened his hand. There is no choice but to be quiet. Dozens of other employees' eyes saw the sight, but Daniel did not care.

Once in the elevator, even in the lobby and in the car, they just kept quiet. Daniel was just focusing on driving. While Rara looks very worried and continues to shed tears. He had no idea what accident Ria had experienced until entering the Hospital.

"Which Hospital?" Daniel opens to break the silence between them.

"Hospital of Our Hope." Answer Rara.

Daniel gives Rara the tissue on her car dashboard.

"Don't worry. I'm sure he'll be fine." Daniel tries to calm Rara down.

Rara received the tissue without any intention of replying to Daniel. All he had in mind right now was his daughter. During this time he always took care of both his children with a very heart - heart. He was always around them. This was the first time her daughter had experienced it. Of course Rara was panicked because of it.

Arriving at Rara Hospital, he got out of the car to the receptionist to ask which room his daughter was in. After getting her answer, without wasting any time Rara ran down the corridor of the Hospital towards the room Ria was in.

Daniel who was behind him also ran after Rara.

"Geeee!!" Excited Rara hugged her daughter as she walked into Ria's room.

He kissed Ria's forehead and cheeks.

"Where's the pain, baby??" Rara asked worriedly.

"I'm sorry Marwah ma'am. Earlier when Marwah wanted to buy ice cream for ade, Marwah did not know if there was ade ngutin in the back. He knew the boy was scared. Rara is grateful that her daughter survived the car accident that hit her. Luckily, the driver did not drive the car at high speed. So that the accident did not endanger Ria's life.

Daniel who had been in the room was silent and noticed the interaction between Rara and her daughter. There was something strange that Daniel felt when he saw Ria. I don't know, he doesn't even understand what it is. Until Rara's voice breaks her daydream.

"Sir Daniel thank you for driving me. But I'm sorry I couldn't make the meeting today." Rara.

"Ah, it's okay. I asked Nita to tell the others if the meeting was delayed." Daniel walked over to Rara, who was sitting beside Ria's bed.

"We're outside Ra's office. Don't be formal." Daniel reminded Rara.

Rara immediately calmed her daughter
