Our Memories

After returning from the hospital, David went to Eric's house. But the waiter said that Eric didn't come home from this afternoon. He called Eric's phone many times and the operator answered.

David was very worried about his best friend. However, she also feels guilty for hiding Ardi and Clara's relationship. David just let out a heavy sigh and finally chose to go home.

"And where are you?"

"New gate to home. Why?"

"Gue is worried about Eric. I went to his house, he hasn't come home since noon. His phone is not active either."

David glanced at his watch which had already shown at 9 p.m. He was worried about Eric at the moment.

"Eric needs time alone right now. It was not a simple thing for him to be able to accept all the facts. I'm sure Eric's gonna be okay."

"Gue hope so too." David barely caught Daniel's hearing.

"Yes already. Tomorrow we go to Eric's office."

One week after Eric found out about a betrayal, even though he knew the truth, he decided to go back to work. Already many of his work is neglected because his mind is chaotic. Although his heart was still sick and wounded but his life had to continue. He will not give up on the situation. He was determined that everything would be fine.

It was impossible for him to force Clara to marry him. Ardi is ready to take responsibility. Recalling the two made Eric clench his hands on the table. She really did not expect her love story to be like this. His beloved belongs to his friend.

Eric sighed heavily and threw himself in his chair. His eyes stared at the ceiling of his room with an erratic look. Her tears welled up in her eye pelukan that was ready to spill at any time.

"Should it feel this sick?"

Eric muttered as he touched his left chest. Her tears also spilled when she reopened the photos of Clara with herself in her cell phone gallery. So many memories he went through with Clara the woman he loved so much.

Clara was able to make him have this much love. Clara's filled her days for two years. Clara gave color to her life. And Clara also gave this wound. Can this wound heal? Can he forget Clara? Can it?? Eric closed the screen.

He rubbed his face wet with tears. Stand up and put your feet in the sink. He washed his face and looked at himself in the mirror. The face that held a disappointment, a wound, was extremely pitiful. He washed it again and then wiped it with a tissue. Move on from there.

Eric put on his suit, then took his cell phone, car keys and wallet. Then he walked out of his room and stopped at his secretary's desk.

"Please cancel all my meetings today." Eric then passed from there.

His secretary still hung the sentence in his throat that still had not been able to come out of his mouth. Because his boss was gone, leaving him still confused by his boss's unusual behavior.

"Papa thought you forgot the house." A smile rose on the middle-aged man's face when he saw his beloved youngest son coming. For so long, his son did not come to visit.

"How's papa doing? Seemingly?" Eric hugged his father with affection. Because of his busy life he did not have time to visit.

"You just see how fit papa is." Eric and his dad laughed.

Then they enjoyed the day with lunch together and returned to sit back in the back garden of the house. While enjoying his tea, Eric continues to pay attention to his papa activities that feed his beloved fish.

Eric breathed out and leaned his back against the back of the sofa. Papa Eric sat down next to him. He turned his head and caught a glimpse of his son then smiled slightly.

"Is there something you want to say?" Ask papa Eric.

Eric did not answer. He played his own finger while looking at the clear sky from his seat for quite a while.

"Is my papa's offer to manage one of my overseas branches still valid?" Eric asked in a soft voice.

His father knew very well that something was going on with his son, so he wanted to take the offer. It's been a long time that his papa asked Eric to do it, because considering that Eric's oldest brother is quite overwhelmed by handling 2 companies at once. But Eric still chose to stay in Indonesia only. With a reason to be able to visit his papa more often. Although the real reason is that he doesn't want to stay away from Clara. But apparently the circumstances now had to force him to accept the offer.

"Whenever you want the offer to be open to you." Papa Eric said.

"Let Edo take care of it here." Continue his papa.

Edo is Eric's second brother. They're three brothers. Eric's eldest brother is in Singapore.

"When do you want to go?"

"I want to go the day after Pa."

"As your wish." Said Papa Eric.

Today is the day Eric looks forward to. The day he will leave Indonesia to start a new life from scratch in another country. All the employees at his company knew about Eric's resignation. His second brother Edo will take his place.

Many employees regretted his resignation. They are very comfortable with their leadership. He is known as a good leader and also friendly to his subordinates. Single women are sad because they will no longer be able to see their handsome boss every day.

Again he went through every corner of his house. He remembers everything that happened in his house. Remembering all his memories. He looked back at his room. Just look at him again. Her gaze fell on a photo with her beautiful figura on a small table near her bed.

The photo shows the intimacy of two people who were hugging with a happy smile on their faces. He remembered the photo was taken one month after they were made. Eric looked at his picture and Clara. And then he dropped the photo there.

Eric glanced at his watch, before long he would take off. He came out of the room and stuffed his suitcase into the trunk of the car. Once again he looked at his house before he finally got into the car and chose to leave.

He decides to leave without the knowledge of Daniel, David, or Ardi. He deliberately did not tell them. He did not want it to make his decision fail. Even Eric also asked Papa and his brother Edo not to say where he went.

When he was on the plane, Eric looked out of the window at his side. Looking at the past that he will soon leave behind to achieve a new life. He remembered his papa words before he came home–

"Be a strong and strong man. Prove that you can get through it all."

Eric sighed softly without noticing a single drop of his tears falling on the back of his hand. He rubbed the end of his eyes.

"Blessed. I'm leaving all our memories with you." Eric murmured before he closed his eyes, enjoying his journey through the air.
