The Twins Birthday Party

All the dishes for the twins' birthday party tonight are ready. Knickknacks have decorated all sides of the wall from the entrance to the middle room. Daniel, Rara, Marwah worked together to prepare it.

While the twins after lunch they must obey their mother to take a nap.

Rara glanced at the clock on the wall. It's 15:00 WIB. Soon her birthday cake will come. Rara chooses to rest for a while on the sofa, where Daniel also settles down because he is tired.

Rara sat down near Daniel's head leaning against the back of the sofa. Daniel opened his eyes and looked up. He moved to raise his head slightly then lay down again with his head above Rara's thigh.

"You tired?" Daniel asked, stroking Rara's hand over his head.

"Hmmm. But I'm glad I did." Rara replied, even though she closed her eyes.

"So the phone call, they're taking us to dinner at home the day after tomorrow. I'll pick you up."

"Yes. The twins have to meet papi and mami."

"of course. They should get to know their oma and opa." Said Daniel.

"You didn't go home first?" Ask Rara

"Let's go after the twins show. My clothes are still in the car." Daniel closed his eyes.

I heard the doorbell shortly. Marwah immediately opened the door and let the cake delivery courier in. After the cake was neatly arranged in place Marwah locked the door and went back inside.

The twins birthday party has finally arrived. Exactly at 19.00 WIB the event began. They don't invite a lot of people. Only neighbors who live one floor with their units in the apartment, also some people acquaintance Rara.

When it came time to cut the cake, Rio gave his first piece of cake to Daniel. The little hand fed the cake into his father's mouth.

"Father thank you for being present in your life. Dad's the best birthday present for my brother." Rio kissed both cheeks of Daniel and hugged him.

Daniel gasped with Rio's words just now. Both corners of his eyes were watering. She hugged her son tightly and showered him with kisses all over her face.

Then Ria followed who also gave a cake to Daniel's mouth.

"Dear dear father." Said Ria and then kissed both of her father's cheeks.

"Dad too dear ade." Daniel returned the kiss of his daughter and hugged her.

Rara's eyes glazed - the glass saw this beautiful moment. This is truly the best thing that has ever happened in his life. He only wants happiness for his two hearts.

She gives an affectionate kiss to the twins after receiving a cake feed as well.

The party is getting lively because it is held a variety of games by the host. Rio and Ria look very happy at their birthday party this time. So many gifts they received. It almost filled the corner of the living room because of so many gifts.

Daniel stood beside Rara and hugged her waist from the side.

"Are you happy?" Daniel asked while kissing Rara's head.

"Yes. I'm so happy to see them happy like this." Rara said with a smile looking at Daniel.

"Then what about us?" Rara frowned and looked at Daniel again. He understood the meaning of Daniel's question.

"Wouldn't their happiness be more complete if we get married soon?" Daniel returns to the question without getting a definitive answer from Rara.

Suddenly, Rara's face changed when Daniel touched on the marriage. He took Daniel's embrace out of his.

"You know what my answer is, right? So please don't spoil the mood with it." Rara slowly left Daniel and approached her two children who were playing.

Daniel just sighed rough. He had to be extra patient to wait for the happy day to come. He doesn't want to lose Rara a second time. Daniel eventually chooses to join Rara and the twins.

Time has shown at 9 p.m.

The guests have all gone home. There are four of them. Because Marwah also asked permission to go home. Daniel and Rara help each other get things done, while the twins are busy with the gifts they get especially from their father and mother. There wasn't much talk between them after the incident.

Daniel looked at the door when he heard the doorbell ring. Rara immediately opened the door. He was shocked when the door opened showing someone he so missed.

"Thomas!!" Rara cried out in excitement and poured into Thomas' arms.

"Daddy!!" Shouted the twins no less loud when he saw who was with his mother. They ran and hugged Thomas.

"Hello kid's. Did you miss daddy?" Thomas hugged the twins.

"Yes, sure". Answer the twins.

"Happy birthday kids." Thomas kissed both.

"Thank you daddy."

Daniel did not know who this man in front of him was. But because of his presence he felt neglected. Daniel's jaw was slightly hardened. There was jealousy there when he saw his two children in the arms of another man. What else they call the guy 'daddy'. Daniel is not willing. Even Daniel had seen Rara cuddling with him.

Daniel did not like any other man who dared to embrace his woman. Rara's hers. No one can touch it. Both of his hands clenched on both sides of his body. Highlight Daniel's eyes keenly looked at their familiarity.

While Rara seemed to forget the presence of Daniel there. He talks to Thomas. Even the twins were sitting on his lap. They jokingly let go of the longing after so long without meeting. No wonder the twins were so familiar with Thomas. Because Thomas was the one who helped Rara care for the twins from birth.

Daniel was still standing by the entrance. He hasn't moved from there since Thomas came. Daniel harbored his emotions. He felt neglected and unappreciated. Even Rara did not introduce herself to the man nor vice versa.

Maybe it was this man that made Rara not want to marry her, Daniel thought. Daniel went inside and got the keys. He passed them without saying a word or looking.

Rio had seen his father's departure. "Where is Dad going?" Realizing that her father was going to leave Rio stood up and called out to her. But Daniel just shut up and got out of Rara's apartment. Daniel left with anger and jealousy in his heart.

"Mother, where are you going?" Rio pulled Rara's hand and kept asking her father.

"Dad's gone the minute." Rara answered and again took her son to sit beside her.

"Is that Daniel?" Ask Thomas

"Yes." Yeah."

"Then what is your relationship going forward? When did you get married?"

"Eitherway. I haven't thought about it. It'd be better like this." Rara replied as leisurely as without burden.

But not in Thomas's view. He knows that Rara loves Daniel very much. Rara was just afraid to start over.

"Whatever your decision is Ra, I will always be supportive."

"Thanks Thom." Rara replied with a smile.

Because of the fun of talking, they do not realize that the twins have fallen asleep on the sofa. Thomas helps Rara move the twins into the room.

Thomas was not long to go home. His goal came to Indonesia besides he missed his parents, also because he wanted to give a surprise to the twins.

Daniel arrived at his apartment with annoyance in his heart. He headed for the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, taking 1 bottle of wine from there. He swigged at her greedily along with his tears that fell without her consent.

"So because of that man you don't want to marry me Ra!!!!". Daniel shouted in frustration. Her jaw hardened again as she recalled how Rara and the man had embraced.

"Yahoooooooooooooooo!!!". Daniel throws the glass in his hand. He really looks fucked up tonight.

The ringing of his cell phone rang all his thoughts. One name is on there. Rara's. He won't answer a phone call from Rara. Even all the messages Rara sent her were ignored. Rara kept calling him. Daniel ignored it again. He took his phone and deactivated it. Daniel went into his room.

Rara doesn't know where Daniel went. Even went without saying goodbye. Rara believes Daniel must be angry with her because of Thomas' arrival. He ignores Daniel only because he met his old best friend. Rara patted her eel over and over again.

He also opened his phone and called Daniel many times but was not picked up. None of his messages got any reply. He tried again to contact Daniel but turned out to be inactive.

Rara's heart riled. He knew he had made a mistake.

"Aaaahhh.Why is this?" Rara threw her body rough on the bed.
