The Struggle for Love (Part 2)

The smile on Maura's face was vividly drawn as she exited the fuselage carrying her flying from London to New York.

Not one look tired face because sitting for hours in the plane. His longing was so passionate that he wanted to see Ben soon.

Maura didn't have a big suitcase. He only brought a small suitcase and a carrying bag to carry his needs.

He looked at the address sent by Faith. Last night, after searching through google maps, Maura knew this address was not in downtown New York but in the suburbs of New York.

Maura had already booked a room at the hotel in the address complex. After checking in and bringing his belongings to the room, Maura immediately went out to look for Ben.

Although this was his first experience coming to this city, Maura was undaunted. He even rejected the offer of Iriana who wanted to accompany him to come here because Iriana has more than 10 times come to this city.

He asked the hotel receptionist about the address he was going to address. Maura then walked out of the hotel. The receptionist said that the address was only two blocks from the hotel so Maura decided to walk away.

After passing through two existing blocks, Maura arrived at the Chinatown area. He again asked a street vendor and the merchant showed him a coffee shop that was located right in front of where he stood.

Maura's chest was beating very fast. Soon he will meet his beloved.

Maura's feet were already preparing to cross the street when she saw someone coming out of the coffee shop. Someone who for 3 months so he misses. He is very handsome with his ablong shirt and knee-length shorts.

Maura almost shouted to her name but she undoed her intentions when she saw a sweet girl who was almost the same height as Ben came out of the coffee shop and immediately wrestled spoiled in Ben's arm.

The longing globules that had been in his heart seemed to be broken into pieces especially when he saw Ben suddenly rubbing the girl's stomach with a smile. I don't know what Ben said that sure the girl looks happy and rests her head in Ben's arms.

Maura's tears immediately fell without her being able to hold back. As Ben's head turned towards him, Maura hurriedly turned her back and hid behind an electric pole.

When Maura peeked back, Ben opened the door for the girl and sat behind the wheel and the car slowly left.

Maura came out from her hiding place again. He looked at the car that was already away, then he ran away from the place. He continued to run without knowing where he should go seven. Until finally he stopped in a park and sat limp on one of the concrete benches.

Not caring about everyone who was there, Maura was crying very strongly. His shoulders were shaken.

"Ben....Ben.....!" call Maura in her tears. Maura felt her strength was gone.

His HP keeps ringing. After a long time of neglect, Maura finally raised her phone without seeing who called her.

"Hallo.." said Maura in a hoarse voice.

"Maura.I called you earlier but you didn't pick him up. What's up?" there was a soft voice, Faith.

"Faith, I'm devastated.I don't have the strength anymore. I saw Ben with a girl."

"Maura, have you greeted him? Have you approached her?"

"No. I saw it from far away. But they look friendly. Ben even rubbed the girl's stomach. Is she pregnant?"

"Maura, do you believe Ben?"

The sound of a small bell hanging on the door rang out as Maura pushed her away.

"Welcome....!" a beautiful face, with green eyes and blonde hair greeted Maura with her friendly smile.

This coffee shop looks empty. Maybe because the coffee time has passed because it is now 11 noon.

Maura wiped the entire room of the tavern while looking for Ben.

"Maura Belinda!"

"What a pretty name. May I sit here. The shop is quiet if the clock is like this. It will be a lot more if it is late afternoon"

Maura nodded "I am from Indonesia"

"Indonesia is a beautiful country!"

Maura smiled back. He wants to ask about Ben but somehow his mouth is locked.

"Nobody else here?" ask Maura at last.

"We're just three here and...." Mira suddenly stood up "Sorry...!" he half ran away from Maura and went into the toilet.

A few minutes later he came out again with a slightly pale face.

"are you okay?" ask Maura.

"Yes. This is common for young pregnant women"

Mira smiled as she rubbed her still flat stomach. "Yes. And this makes me very happy."

Maura's knees were shaking. Fortunately, he was sitting. If his position is standing, it is certain that he will fall.

"Good fun, Maura. I have something to do in the kitchen!" pamit Mira and immediately stepped away from the table where Maura was sitting.

Maura's chest felt tight. He could no longer hold back his tears.

The sound of bells was accompanied by the opening of the entrance in the tavern, making Maura hurriedly wipe away her tears.

"Ben..I miss you so much!"

Ben looked at the girl in front of him with a confused face. He even pulled the hand of Maura who was holding his cheek.

"Sorry, do we know each other?" ben asked and looked at Mira who was standing next to him.

Maura was surprised "Ben...this is me, Maura?"

"Maura?" Ben frowned. "Who is Maura?"

Maura was surprised. He looked at Ben with a very sick heart. Are Ben getting tired of her? Or did Ben pretend to forget because there was Mira beside him?

In that instant, Maura lost her consciousness and before she fell down, a sturdy arm had already hugged her.
