It's getting late afternoon. Ben looked at his watch. It's 5 o'clock . Then he still has 2 hours before the dance race starts.

"Ben, how?" ask Rachel who has finished changing clothes.

"I'll edit it tomorrow and select some photos to print. The rest I'll keep in the memory you gave me."

"Why are we editing it now?" asked Rachel who was very curious to see her prewedding photos.

"Darling, you don't seem to know. Ben is still a newlywed." Joe talks before Ben answers Rachel's question.

Ben just smiled "Makasi, Joe. I really want to see a dance match conducted by one of the TV stations. Maura's in that race"

"alright. Call me later if you're done editing it. We're going, honey?" rachel asked while holding her fiance's hand.

Joe nodded. The two leave Joe's studio. Today is a photo taken only in the studio.

Ben stretched out his hand, just letting go of the fatigue.

"Boss, the flower you ordered I put in the car." Rich Luna, his assistant.

"Thank You Luna. Where are the others?"

"Home home, boss. It's almost 6 and a half."

"Oh.so. You just go home. I'm gonna take a shower and then I'm gonna go."

Luna nodded. He immediately left Ben's room and cleaned his room after it came out of the studio.

Ben took a quick shower, and after changing his clothes, he stepped out of the studio.

As he got into the car, his face smiled looking at the bouquet of flowers underneath for Maura.

"May she like it" Ben muttered before running his car.

The journey to the race is a bit far. It took almost 30 minutes. Because of that Ben chose to follow the back road which makes it up to 10 minutes faster.

When the car came down a rough road. Suddenly Ben felt something was wrong with his car. The brakes don't work. Ben was nervous. Oh my God, how is this? ben's mind grew more nervous when he saw a truck was walking in the opposite direction to him.

Meanwhile, at the race venue, Maura was ready with her friends. They will be performing with the number 4.

"Ra, I'm so nervous." Letty whispered when she saw the large number of spectators present.

"Calm down. We must be able to give our best tonight in order to qualify for the next round" Maura said as she occasionally looked at her phone.

Ben's message came in 15 minutes ago :

Ma, I've been heading to the race

Can I meet you backstage?

I want to give you something......

Maura replied to the message :

Ok

Maura smiled. He wondered what Ben would give him. Last morning when they had breakfast together, Ben only asked the address of the race venue. After that he immediately went for a follow-up photo shoot prewedding.

Now, 30 minutes have passed.

The second player is already on stage.

"We're getting ready because the second participant is almost done" Alan said as he directed his friends to immediately stand by the door leading to the stage.

Maura put her cellphone in the bag. Ben's not coming.

Is he really coming? Then why isn't there? Ah....why do I really hope he will come huh? inner Maura. He hurriedly brushed off his feelings and soon joined his friends who were ready.

The applause of the audience makes the spirit of the dancers more passionate. The Crown was perfect. They were even more happy when it was announced to be one of the groups that qualified for the final with 9 other groups.

"Well, I'm so happy. We're through to the final. I'm sure we all can. We're going to practice more and more" Alan looks very happy. Others cheered happily too.

" Tonight we will celebrate the victory in the pub. Everything I've bought" continued Alan made the others more excited.

"Ra, are you coming?" kelly asked when they were done changing.

"No. Anyway it's almost 1 in the morning. I'm just going home." Maura grabbed her bag. Checking his phone back. There was no message from Ben.

"Come with. Not bad if you don't exist. Or your husband doesn't evangelize? Is he coming?" this time Letty spoke.

"My husband has a photo shoot outside the city" Maura lied.

"Yes then we go." persuaded Kely. Letty held Maura's hand while putting on a pleading face. Maura finally nodded.

Almost 3 am Maura arrived at the apartment. He peeked into Ben's study, but the man wasn't there.

Where the hell's he going?

Why am I suddenly marrying him?

I must be crazy, I'd better get some sleep.

Maura climbed the stairs leading to the 2nd floor. He was very tired and felt a little dizzy because he drank alcohol tonight.

Without changing clothes, Maura immediately went up to the bed.

It was already noon when Maura woke up. He's feeling hungry.

After finishing the bath, Maura went down to bring it. Today Alan gave them a break. The training will begin the day after.

The dining table looks empty.

Has he not come home yet?

Maura ordered food online. Honestly, he could not cook at all, he sat in the living room blaming the TV.

Bored feeling of suffering. Maura got up and walked around the apartment.

Maura wildest. He almost screamed in shock when he saw Ben lying on the couch with his head bandaged, his left hand bandaged.

Maura stepped in while looking at Ben who was still asleep. His face was calm with regular breathing.

Oh, my God, what's wrong with you, Ben? inner Maura.

Ben's face also had bruises on his right cheek.

Maura's hand touching Ben's face made the man open his eyes quickly.

"Ma.." call Ben slowly.

"What's wrong with you, Ben?"

"I had an accident."

"Geez!" peekkik Maura's. "When are you coming, Ben? Why not wake me up? Then who's helping you?"

Maura's back-to-back questions made Ben smile. "You're worried about me?"

"Currently.Who worries about you? I'm just asking." said Maura, turning her face away.

"I had an accident on my way to see you last night. My car brakes aren't working. Fortunately, I was able to avoid it so I didn't get hit by a truck. All the protection systems in the car were well open and protected me. Although there were some bumps but I'm fine. Just need a few days rest. So this morning the doctor let me go home" Ben explained.

"Who is accompanying you? Why don't you call me?"

"Sir Leo. Daddy and Mommy don't know either."

"Why are the brakes in trouble? Doesn't your car have the latest sophistication system?"

"Yes. The police are now temporarily investigating."

Maura took a deep breath. There was a little relief hearing Ben's explanation.

The bell of the apartment sounded. Maura immediately headed to the door and pressed the red button which was the camera at the entrance of the ground floor. Maura immediately went down to take her order because there was no maid who could help her.

"Ben, you want to eat?" ask Maura

"Would you like to cook?"

"No, Ben. I ordered it."

"alright. I'm really hungry"

A tray of food and a glass of water took Maura to Ben's office.

The guy tried to sit down. Maura helps Ben to sit up well. Then he put the tray over Ben's thigh.

"Eat!" said Maura.

"Will you bribe me? Both my hands are still hurting" Ben told me. Ben can eat alone, but he pretends to be helpless.

Maura did not speak. She took the tray and sat down next to Ben and began to feed her husband.

The two are silent. All that was heard was the sound of cutlery.

Ben continued to look at Maura while the girl bribed him.

Maura actually felt uncomfortable being stared at by Ben. But he chose not to talk because Ben was good at trapping him with his own words.

"Thank you" Ben said as soon as Maura finished bribing him.

"Sama-sama" Maura immediately came out and brought the empty cutlery. Then he sat down in front of the restaurant and enjoyed his own meal.

After the meal, Maura washed everything and cleaned the kitchen.

He then sees a plastic bag containing Ben's drugs.

Does he have to take medicine now? ask Maura. He immediately returned to Ben's office. When he saw Ben sleeping on the couch, Maura was heartless.

"Ben, let's sleep in the room" Maura said as Ben's clapping woke the boy up.

"When I sleep in the room, where will you sleep?" ben asked while looking at Maura.

Maura was silent for a moment. Ben's room doesn't have a big couch. There are only 2 single sofas.

"Don't think about it. I could sleep anywhere" Maura said, helping Ben stand up, holding him up the stairs.

Upon reaching the room, Maura helps Ben lie down.

"Do you want me to beat the air conditioner?" ask Maura.

Ben shook his head "I just want to change clothes. This dress has been worn since yesterday. There's even a blood stain"

Maura headed to the walk in closet and picked up a pair of trousers and a t-shirt.

"Can this?" ask Maura

"Yes"

"Deplace. I'll take your medicine with me"

"How can I change my own clothes?"

Maura's steps stopped. He looked at Ben as he swallowed his saliva.

"You mean, should I help you get changed?" maura asked with a voice that felt hoarse.

"Is there anyone else here?" Ben asked back and made Maura's knee feel weak.
