Chapter 10 - Love in Qatar

Early in the morning Antonio had already banged on Erika's room door, he wanted to ask for an explanation of last night's events, long enough he banged on the door but there was no answer from inside. Callie who had just returned from nowhere, was astonished to see Antonio who seemed to be emotional.

“What are you doing so early in Erika's room?” ask Callie curiously.

Antonio stared fixedly at the girl, he was a vampire hunter — must have known about last night's events. “Enight ...”

“Women who died bitten by the vampire? Although I don't like you being close to Doctor Erika — but I also don't like it if innocent people are accused of things they didn't do, the culprits are neither Erika nor Nicollete.” Callie explained the incident last night before Antonio could ask.

“Where are you sure if it's not one of them?”

Callie sighed and leaned against the wall, “First Nicollette was with me so there was no way she was the culprit, then Erika — she had not consumed human blood for years and she was dumped by Vladimir's family, then the scent left on the woman's body does not belong to Erika.” He explained to Antonio.

“Lantas where are they now?” Antonio urges Callie to tell Erika whereabouts. This girl was intending to take Antonio's heart, so she let him approach Erika first.

After getting information about where Erika was, Antonio immediately went to see her, Callie just smiled meaningfully while looking at the back of Antonio who was away.

The Corniche view, Doha lay in front of Antonio, the place was a little crowded because today is the weekend some people seem to be jogging either alone or with friends and couples. Antonio's grey-eye beads combed every corner of the beach's boulevard looking for Erika and Nicollete.

From a distance he could catch the two vampire girls sitting in the shade of the morning sun. What the fuck are those two vampires? Are they not afraid of being burned by the sun? As the road approached them, Antonio took off his sweater.

“What are you doing in the sun like this?” Erika was surprised that suddenly their place became so shady, she looked up and found Antonio standing on his back against the sun, so that the light did not hit the two of them.

Seeing Antonio come — Erika threw away face, she still felt heartache because this man did not believe her. Though clearly when she first appeared in the form of a werewolf, Erika did not comment on it at all.

“Come, we return to hotel.” Antonio pulled Erika's hand gently, but how surprised she was when this doctor brushed her hand away.

Erika stared intently at Antonio, she said with a frown, “We can go home by ourselves!”

Now that this man realized that if Erika was still offended by his attitude last night, he actually saw Erika as an enemy that night.

“I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have been rude to you last night.” Antonio apologized to Erika with regret, he knew — at this time must be Erika was very angry with him.

Erika kept quiet, and she took Nicollete away from the place. Meanwhile, Antonio could only follow behind him.

That night in Erika's room — Callie and Nicollete, the three of them gather to devise a plan to find out who is a vampire besides these two vampire girls. But Nicollete, sensing there is not only one vampire who is in Qatar.

Finally they decided to take a fun walk out of the hotel, somehow Callie felt the vampire who attacked the woman yesterday will return to action. Amidst the nightly hustle and bustle of Doha, Nicollete could faintly hear someone screaming for help.

“Ke over there!” The three of them immediately approached the origin of the sound and sure enough, when they arrived there — a middle girl cornered in the corner of a dark narrow hallway was also deadlocked.

One of them came forward and attacked Callie, swiftly dodging the attack. Callie senses the vampire chill from this guy, she keeps her distance and picks up the silver dagger she's hiding on her waist.

“They're vampires!” callie shouted to Erika and Nicollete, so they were forced to use the form of a vampire to fight the four people.

A fierce fight ensued between them, Erika who was still weak in using the form of a vampire to fight almost got attacked by one of the herd. But — suddenly Antonio appears behind Erika with a half werewolf form and saves her.

Antonio helps the three girls fight, and has Erika save the girl who is still standing scared to see the strange creatures fighting. She was still terrified when Erika took her away, although she eventually complied and followed Erika away from the fight.

In the fight — Antonio managed to open his opponent's hoodie, and he was completely shocked when he saw the vampire was Lionel.

“Li—Lionel!?” The four of them compactly called the name of the national team's main midfielder. Because the cover is open and saw Antonio was caught off guard — Lionel also scuttle Antonio, then fled.

All three of Lionel's herds have been successfully eliminated by Callie with his dagger. The face of this girl was so shocked to find out the man she admired so much was a werewolf.

“What a look!?” snapping Antonio while turning himself back into a human.

“Ka—kau ..” Callie can't go on, she's completely shocked to discover Antonio is a werewolf.

The man did not touch the vampire hunter girl, he approached Erika, he was dressing the girl they helped. His eyes glanced at Antonio, Nicollete and Callie in turn, then turned to the girl who was still in shock.

Nicollete understands Erika's worries, she is afraid that if this girl tells the story of what happened tonight to others and will complicate their existence. He whispered something into Erika's ear, “Use your ability to manipulate this girl's memory.”

Erika's eyes glared, she simply did not have such an ability. “How can, Nico?” He whispered furiously to his brother's vampire servant.

“Gear the girl's eyes and concentrate your concentration to get into her mind. It might be better if you use your vampire form Miss Erika.”

“A—what can I do?” Erika was not sure of herself. Nicollete convinces him, as do Callie and Antonio.

Erika tried to do what Nicollette taught her, she felt all her energy was sucked out. The girl before him looked dazed and stared at them one by one.

“What happened?” He grimaced as his knees and elbows were injured.

The three of them smiled. “So we saw you get hit by a motorbike and pass out, so we helped you,” Callie told a lie and the girl seemed to believe.

After the girl left and they decided to return to hotel — Erika fell unconscious. It was because he had used too much of his power while manipulating the memories of the girl earlier.

Antonio also held the woman's doctor, Erika's hair ties loose and makes her golden hair loose. The tiny face that was sleeping soundly because of fatigue, Antonio felt a tightness that he had never felt before, his heartbeat felt very fast. Am I in love with Erika?
