Good bye, duke

Vale opened his eyes. He woke up because of the incoming sunlight. He saw a pillow beside him. Suddenly he panicked. He remembered last night's incident. Without a second thought, Vale ran out of the room.

He heard someone humming in the kitchen. "Nicole!"

Nicole keeps the plate on the table. He looked at Vale with a sweet smile on his lips. "You awake?"

"We need to talk!" vale was nervous.

Nicole's smile is gone. He was confused to see Vale like that. "What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what happened last night. That wasn't supposed to happen. I regret. I'm asking you not to remember what happened last night."

Nicole quickly raised her hand on Vale's cheek. His lips were shaking with anger. Her tears came out quickly. His hand shook as a result of the force of the slap on Vale's cheek.

"You.." he said nervously as he pointed at his face with his index finger.

"Hit me! I was wrong." Vale said annoyedly.

Without saying much, Nicole went out. He hated the man in front of him. He ran to get to a place that made him comfortable. When he reached the stables, he opened it hard and closed it slowly. His body rests on the door. He closed his face disappointed. And he started crying. He covered his mouth with his clothes so that his cries could not be heard.

She didn't expect Vale to hurt her so much. Vale had regretted the incident that happened between them last night. He was too disappointed to realize that his love was just a clap of one hand.

"Lady.."Call Elissa.

"Go Elissa, I don't deserve pity." Isak Nicole's.

"Open the door, Lady. We can talk. I'll hear it." replied Elissa worriedly.

Slowly Nicole opened the door. He faces Elissa in a fragile state. Elissa held Nicole's hand. "Is it so painful?" tanyakanya.

Nicole hugged Elissa. "I hate it, Elissa."

"Cry, son, take out all that is hidden in your heart. An Elissa will hear you."

Vale stared at the dining table that had available a variety of Nicole dishes. He's guilty. He shouldn't have said that to Nicole. It's like accusing Nicole of being a prostitute. His holiness had been snatched away by him. But he apologized for making that mistake.

Vale felt someone standing behind him. He turned his body and was surprised to see his mother and father in his palace. "Mama?"

"Mama was really disappointed in you. Why can you live in such a remote place?" Sahut Imelda is angry.

"Hear you left your wife for weeks in this place!" The Duke of Vanguard started to voice out. They both looked at Vale for an explanation.

"Yes, that's all true." Answer Vale limp. He wanted to argue but it was useless. All the stories of his parents are true and do happen.

Suddenly Elissa came with Nicole. Imelda was surprised to see Nicole. He looks fragile and chaotic. "What's up, baby? Why are you like this?" ask Imelda to panic.

Vale felt his heart tremble violently. He hurt Nicole inside out.

"I. I. I want to part with Mylord. I'm sorry I let you guys down" exclaimed Nicole with a trembling body and teary eyes. He bowed his head to his parents.

Vale widened his eyes. He was surprised amazingly. Didn't expect Nicole to say that in front of her parents. No, he doesn't want to part with Nicole. He shook his head without letting go of his gaze at Nicole.

Vale can't do anything. He just looked at Nicole with regret.

"Elissa, take Nicole to the room. Don't leave him alone. You must keep her company." Imelda.

"You satisfied?"xavi asked in anger.

Vale. "I am guilty, papa.”

"You must separate." Imelda fast. Vale looked straight at his mother. "I don't want to!"yells.

"From today I'll take Nicole away. I'll take care of your farewell letter quickly. And asked the court to make Nicole my adopted son."

Vale widened his eyes." That's not possible, what do you mean to make Nicole an adopted child? I don't approve! It never will. Nicole is forever just your daughter-in-law. Until whenever I won't divorce Nicole" Shouted Vale as she left the room.

The kid? Mama is crazy! I won't take it anytime. Nicole is already in the Vanguard family. Forever. Not as an adopted son, but as a son-in-law.

Vale ran to the stables and pulled out his horse quickly. He immediately took his horse away from the palace which kept all his rottenness on Nicole.

The Vale horse brought it to a river Nicole used to visit. He stared at the whole place. The place was quiet, only the sound of water could be heard. According to Elissa, Nicole always spends her days in this river.

He got off his horse and walked around the river. He doesn't know what to do at the moment. Last night's events should have made her respect and protect Nicole even more. It actually made the woman's heart hurt. It is unforgivable.

If Nicole had really been his mother's adopted daughter, it would have meant he would have been his adopted sister. Vale shook his head. That can't happen. She loved. Then why did he say the thing that hurt Nicole?

He returned to his horse. He quickly brought his horse home. He had to stop his parents.

"Are you ready, Lady?"ask Elisha. He looked at Nicole's face from the mirror. His face looks tired. He felt really sorry.

"I'm ready, Elissa. You just need to tidy up my clothes" Nicole said as she stood up. He looked at the face of Elissa. Elissa hugged Nicole quickly. "I'm gonna miss you."

Vale's horse took him home fast. From a distance he saw his parents walking towards the train. Then from behind they see Nicole and Elissa walking after him. Vale's tightening up his horse.

He went down and ran after Nicole. He pulled Nicole's arm tight and made the woman surprised. "You can't go!"

Nicole looked at Vale's cold face. "Deliver!"

Vale looked at that cold face for the first time. There was no sad face. There was only deep disappointment. Slowly Vale took off Nicole's arm.

"Me and the Lady are gone, Mylord." Elissa.

The train they were riding on began to leave Vale alone. For a moment Vale was pensive where he stood. He stared at the train until it was no longer visible. The atmosphere there became very quiet.

He went into the house and climbed the stairs. When he entered the room, he was stunned. He remembered the incident last night. Last night he hugged Nicole's body. He didn't want to let go at all. Nicole was so resigned and united with him. He felt loved by her.

Aargh!!! Vale shouted loudly.

For years he hated the woman for no apparent reason. Now he feels completely useless. A man who is not responsible. It is now alone. Alone in the palace because of his mistake.
