The Race of Exorbitance, Artificial Life Forms

The Andromeda Galaxy is the closest large galaxy to the Milky Way, with a diameter of about 220,000 light-years, almost twice the size of the Milky Way.

The Andromeda Galaxy is also the largest galaxy in the local group of galaxies.

When mentioning local galaxy groups, it is necessary to talk about the different classifications of cosmic objects: planetary systems, star systems, galaxies, and galaxy groups.

Among them, galaxy groups, as the name suggests, are galaxy groups, such as the QQ group and the WeChat group.

It's just that the members of the group of galaxies are not friends of QQ, but galaxies like the Milky Way.

Local clusters are clusters of galaxies that include the Milky Way, where the earth and sun are located. It is similar to the meaning of state, province, and school.

Local here can also mean ‘kita’ like in our country, our province, our school, and our galaxy group.

There are galaxies in this local group, such as the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way, the Triangulum Galaxy, the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, the Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy, the Draco Dwarf, Leo I and II— together there are 50 galaxies of different sizes.

Among them, the Andromeda Galaxy is the largest, with an area diameter of 220,000 light-years, while the Milky Way is second with a diameter of 100,000 light-years.

The ruler of the Andromeda Galaxy was familiar with Caius Titans. But unfortunately, there was a change 5,000 years ago.

A new race appears out of nowhere to annihilate the Caius Titans to become the new dominant force of the Andromeda Galaxy.

This race is the Lernaean Hydra.

“Lernaean Hydra is an amazing species,” Leoux said. “They have not developed the technology and pure self-cultivation civilization. Their strength lies in their incredible self-cultivation speed and incredible fertility.”

“How is it?” Ling Jiu was confused.

“Lernaean Hydra is not strong and is basically an ordinary Level-one planetary creature, like a human, when it was first born,” Leoux said. “Eight-tenths of the Lernaean Hydra became a star creature in a hundred years. Two-tenths of them became galactic beings in a thousand years. And three hundred of them became super-clusters in ten thousand years. This is a very remarkable number. That means that eight-tenths of the Lernaean Hydra can become star creatures, two-tenths of them become galactic creatures, and three hundred of them become super-cluster creatures.”

“You may not think it's a big deal. But if you replace the Lernaean Hydra with a human and think carefully, you will realize that this is a scary figure.

If this happens to humans?

Ling Jiu raised her eyebrows.

80% of humans become stellar creatures, 20% become galactic creatures, and 3% become super-cluster creatures.

Ling Jiu could not help but gasp. Such a comparison made him realize how powerful the Lernaean Hydra was.

There are 4 billion humans on Earth.80%, 20%, and 3% respectively translate into 3.2 billion, 800 million, and 120 million humans.

3.2 Billion stellar creatures, 800 million galactic creatures, and 120 million super-cluster creatures?

What an incredible number!

“The most amazing thing is the fertility of Lernaean Hydras,” Leoux said. “Hydra Lernaean is no less fertile than pythons on Earth, which means they are much more fertile than humans.”

It surprised Ling Jiu again. How fertile are pythons?

A python usually lays eggs only once a year, but can lay 8 to 30 eggs each time it lays eggs. Some may even lay up to a hundred eggs each time.

No less fertile than a python. Doesn't that mean that an adult Lernaean Hydra can give birth to dozens of hundreds of children each year?

That's outrageous.

“The most unbelievable thing is, Lernaean Hydra is a hermaphrodite. That is, all adult Lernaean Hydra can bear children,” Leoux said.

Ling Jiu had no words.

Species with impressive self-cultivation speed, incredible fertility, and now, hermaphrodite abilities.

Why does this species have so many abilities? What gives them this unfair advantage?

“I now understand why Caius Titans was overthrown. Who can stop such an amazing species?” Ling Jiu forced a smile.

“Lernaean Hydra is indeed amazing.” Leoux smiled faintly as he summoned a photo of the Lernaean Hydra, which turned out to be a giant snake with dozens of heads.

This giant snake was over 10,000 meters in size, its body was larger than the Empire State Building, and it was covered in black scales.

This isn't all. The most embarrassing thing about this giant snake is that it has dozens of heads—33 to be exact.

“So many heads?” Ling Jiu was stunned.

“The most distinctive feature of Lernaean Hydras is their head,” Leoux said. “The newborn Lernaean Hydra has only one head. Each time his strength increased, he would grow an extra head. That means, when the Lernaean Hydra had nine heads while being a Level-9 planetary creature, eighteen heads were currently a level Nine star creature, twenty-seven heads while being a Level-9 galactic creature, and thirty-six heads when it became a Level-9 super-cluster creature. The number of heads is the most typical indicator of their strength. This Lernaean Hydra had thirty-three heads, which seemed to be super-cluster creatures Level six.”

“Excellent!” Ling Jiu shook his head. “The universe is truly amazing.”

“Indeed. But species that fall outside the laws of the universe like the Lernaean Hydra are extremely rare,” Leoux said. “My guess is that Lernaean Hydra is not a naturally evolved species but an artificial life form.”

“Artificial life form?” Ling Jiu was very surprised.

“When the science and technology of a species has progressed to a certain stage, they will become gods, who can almost manipulate the weather, turn stones into gold, create something out of nothing, and even omnipotent, he said, in the eyes of primitive species,” says Leoux. “And when their biotechnology reaches a certain level, creating life will also be a way in the park for them. Take me as an illustration. As long as I have a drop of your blood, a strand of hair, or a piece of skin, I can analyze your DNA sequence and clone you.

Ling Jiu nodded, as she knew that Leoux must have this ability.

“It may be difficult for low-level civilizations to create life, but for the Emissian civilization, this is an easy thing,” Leoux said. “As long as you know the genetic sequence of a species, you can recreate it. This is cloning, the easiest way to recreate life. Creation of a slightly higher level of life is similar to programming. A programmer writes a program, and then models it to create a new species. And it's not hard. Take the magic dragon in Huaxian mythology as a demonstration. The dragon belonged to an imaginary totem creature that combined the characteristics of the nine beings. I can recreate this dragon. Many living things and species in the universe are man-made. The Emissian civilization used thousands of habitable planets as its experimental base, where many scientists worked.

“Attracting.” Ling Jiu nodded.

“There are many artificial beings, but they all have the same characteristics, that is too uniform—a clear sign that they are artificially created,” Leoux said. “So I dare say that Lernaean Hydra is an artificial species. Some other boss must be behind their existence. ”
