General Zod was furious.
There were a few Kryptonians at first. Each of them has worked very hard. It took them a hundred years to grow their population from sixteen to over a thousand in Atlantis.
However, Ling Jiu had snatched over 300 of them at once, directly reducing the number of Kryptonians by a third. How could General Zod not be angry?
It took thousands of days and nights of hard work for Krypton to achieve this.
“Gosh *mn thief! I will crush you into dead flesh, grind your bones into dust, and torment your soul day and night!” There was a murderous look in General Zod's eyes.
“I don't like bloodshed,” said Ling Jiu. “I won't kill you or anything else. Instead, I'll capture you all and change your mindset, turning you all into my most loyal slave to serve me forever.
After he said that, he smiled before adding, “Do you know what happened to the 300 Kryptonians I have captured?”
“Let me tell you, they are still alive, enjoying their life as my slave.”
“What did you just say?” General Zod's face changed drastically. “You said they were alive?”
“Of course.” Ling Jiu still had a smile on her face. “Do you want to see them? I can grant your request.”
He waved his hand and released about 300 Kryptonians from the Floating Island.
These captured Kryptonians have hardly changed in their appearance. So, General Zod instantly recognized them.
He's very excited. “Good! You're all alive.”
Other kryptonians are excited, too. However, what 300 Kryptonians did then shocked General Zod and all the other Kryptonians.
The 300 Kryptonians kneeled in front of Ling Jiu. “Serve You, Mr.”
“Asaro, what are you doing?” General Zod asked angrily. “You are all noble Kryptonian warriors. How can you kneel down for a lowly native? Wake up!”
“How dare you!”
General Zod was just talking as usual. Unfortunately, he and the other 65 Kryptonians did not expect the Kryptonian named Asaro behind Ling Jiu to shout at him. “How dare you disrespect our master, fanatic! You want to die?”
“What did you just say, Asaro?”
General Zod and 65 other Kryptonians thought they heard wrong.
“As I said, they have turned into my most loyal slaves. They only have one thought, to carry out my will, ” Ling Jiu said. “In their minds, I am the highest God and being, and my dignity is inviolable.”
General Zod took a deep breath, and his voice was filled with endless anger and hatred. “Man, I'll tear you apart!”
“Oh yes? I'm afraid you can't do that—not in this life.” Ling Jiu laughed out loud. “Don't worry, as I said, I won't kill you. But I'll make you just like them.”
Ling Jiu set foot on the roof of the pantheon, and the pantheon, built of gold, collapsed with a rumble, turning into a pile of ruins. Meanwhile, Ling Jiu faded into streams of light and shot towards General Zod and the others.
“Damn it! Will he fight 66 opponents alone?”
“Strong! He is so strong!”
“I'm so nervous, my palms are sweaty. Come on, Ling Jiu. The future of the Earth is in your hands!”
“You can do it, Ling Jiu! You're gonna kill that Kryptonian!”
“Death, human!”
General Zod charged forward at once.
It was nearly two meters tall, and its knotted muscles exploded with explosive force, as if it was made of stiff steel.
“Ling Jiu, this man named General Zod is second only to a Kryptonian named Kal next to him.” Leoux's voice was ringing in Ling Jiu's mind. “He is a Level 6 super-cluster. Careful.”
“I know what I'm doing,” replied Ling Jiu.
“Man, I want you dead!”
General Zod appeared in front of Ling Jiu in an instant, exerting all of his strength as he carried out a punch, as if a bullet shot was fired from a large caliber weapon.
“You want to fight? I'm not afraid of you.”
The Saiyan Golden Ape clone might just be a Level-7 galaxy, which was significantly inferior to General Zod, but Ling Jiu was not afraid.
A terrifying strength gushed out from all over his body and finally gathered in his right hand to welcome General Zod's punch.
The clash!
The two fists collided with a loud noise. A burst of violent shock waves spread from the point of impact in all directions. The void around him was torn apart like a piece of fragile paper.
The sky above the pantheon turned into a black hole while Ling Jiu and General Zod were forced to retreat at the same time.
Ling Jiu retreated for tens of miles, while General Zod was only a few hundred meters away.
The difference in strength is obvious.
Apparently, General Zod was better than Ling Jiu in terms of brute force power.
Nevertheless, it still shocked General Zod. “Man, you're much better than I thought, but that's it. I won't let you keep growing. Die now!”
General Zod faded into a stream of light once again. He gathered all his strength, intending to kill Ling Jiu on the spot.
The corner of Ling Jiu's mouth curled up in a strange smile and a powerful energy burst out from his body as he attacked again.
Waw!
It was another terrifying collision with a void exploding into the black hole again. The energy released was even fiercer than the last time. But the results surprised everyone.
General Zod, who excelled in the first round, lost. His right arm broke like a fragile glass.
“How could this possibly happen?”
His face changed drastically. The other 65 Kryptonians who watched the battle in the distance were both shocked.
“Didn't the general have the upper hand now? Why did he lose this time?” A Kryptonian wonders.
No one knows why, except General Kal. His face is serious. “This cunning human's coup hid his previous strength.”
“Hide its power?”
All the faces of the Kryptonians are drowning. “This despicable man!”
“I don't know that you have reached this level of strength!” General Zod stared dead at Ling Ji as shock, horror, and disbelief flashed in his eyes.
“I only used a tenth of my strength the first time we clashed.” Ling Jiu grinned. “...and half this time.”
“How could this possibly happen?” General Zod's face was grim.
“I told you, you don't have a chance.”
Ling Jiu flicked his finger. “Kryptonians like all of you are destined to be a puppet of my life and serve me forever.”
“Omong empty *t!” General Zod roared furiously, “Kill him for me, everyone!”
General Zod knew he was no match for Ling Jiu. He could only put his hopes on his men, joining hands to kill Ling Jiu.
“Yes, General!”
Some Kryptonians shot towards Ling Jiu without hesitation, while some saw General Kal in unison.
“General, what should we do?”
“Kill him,” says Kal slowly. “This man is too unusual. He must die now, or he will cause endless trouble for us.”
“Yes, General!”
The remaining Kryptonians braved to join the gang fight.
“Come, let's fight well!”
Ling Jiu burst into laughter as she lunged to meet those Kryptonians. A world-shaking battle broke out at once.
