Chapter 12
Ling Jiu arrived in front of the abandoned shop and heard a voice inside. Peering through the broken window, he saw several poodle-sized kittens playing inside.
The kittens have fine fire-red fur, and they are very cute. The girls will love them.
Despite this, Ling Jiu knew that they were not ordinary kittens but Firecats, who looked adorable when they were young but became bloodthirsty demons after adulthood.
“Should I kill them?”
A meow entered his ear while Ling Jiu muttered to himself.
He looked to the side as a sharp pain engulfed his face followed by four bloody scratches.
“Sial!”
Ling Jiu became furious, and he glared at the attacking Firecat.
It was one meter tall and two meters long with fiery red fur as well as a pair of ruby eyes; it was Firecat.
Firecat is a Class 1 Director. Not only was his movement lightning fast, but his claws were also extremely sharp. His combat power was one level higher than that of the Sabretooth Hound.
“How dare you scratch my handsome face! I'll kill you!”
Ling Jiu attacked him by thrusting his stone spear forward.
The firecat dodged easily and gripped Ling Jiu's neck with its claws.
The claws were so sharp that they could easily slit his throat.
“Go to hell!”
Ling Jiu hissed, stomping his right foot to the ground. The ground wall rose and blocked Firecat's attack.
The firecat jumped onto the wall of ground and easily passed through it. Then he pounced on Ling Jiu, who greeted him with three marbles the size of a grapefruit.
True to his reputation as a speed-type Direbeast, Firecat dodged marbles. But few thought that the three marbles would turn into the air eighty times.
That action shocked Firecat, but it was too late to dodge.

The three marbles hit Firecat on his waist and stomach, causing him to lose balance in the air.
Taking the opportunity, Ling Jiu gripped the stone spear in his hand and thrust it into Firecat's stomach, the softest part of his body.
The stone spear pierced through his stomach, and the Firecat struggled for a moment before falling to the ground.
Ling Jiu heaved a sigh of relief. The speed type directive is very bad because of its speed. Lucky for him, his skill was good enough to kill Firecat.
He cut out Firecat's heart, then glanced at Firecat's kitten at the store and flicked his finger.
The explosion!
The shop collapsed instantly, swallowing some of the kittens, who were too young. Those 1st Class Direbeasts and their hearts were of no value to him, but they had to die because they were Direbeast.
“Please! Please!”
Ling Jiu continued, but before she could get far, she heard a distressed voice asking for help.
Following that voice, he ran over and witnessed something terrifying.
A python as thick as an adult's thigh with a pattern on its skin was encircling a teenager.
The teenager tried to fight back in panic and asked for help. However, the python was too powerful for him, and his struggle was in vain.
As the python squeezed even tighter, the voice of the juvenile became weaker, and the bones within its body crackled.
“Please-help me!”
The teenager saw Ling Jiu. Knowing that Ling Jiu was his last hope, he shouted with all his might.
Ling Jiu knew that he could not let the child die. They could compete and rob each other of their crops later, but watching the others die without extending a hand was a no-no. It would adversely affect one's character and harm one's career development.

Uneven, hard scales covered his back, and one-meter-long spikes grew on both sides of his ribs. The direbeast looked terrible.
“This is Ironspike Gator, Directorybeast Class 2!”
Ling Jiu immediately recognized the alligator. “These people have guts! Aren't they afraid of that 2nd Class Director? ”
As Ling Jiu pondered over it, he saw those who attacked Gator Ironspike. He was surprised to see Li Kai among them.
“Why does Li get along with these people?” Ling Jiu furrowed her brows.

“Come friends! This beast is getting weaker now! ” a young man wearing a sports suit screams as he ramps up his attacks.
He was an Arcanist of Fire element. His Fire-type abilities seemed impressive with fire spears, fire blades, fireballs, and fire bullets at his fingertips. Plus, its attack range was over three meters.
Apparently, he was a Level 2 Arcanist.
