“Waah.. Looks like there's nothing to worry about even though you're in jail, Judge.” A person's distinctive voice
the ones I know joined in.
His presence of course saved Tito’ from Ari's temptation. Tito’ exhales slowly, relieved.
“Eh.. Alan. How are you guys?” The judge greeted him.
They shook hands and hugged like they had just met after a long time.
“I should have asked you. Are you okay?” Alan looks guilty, “I'm sorry, I've been busy lately so I haven't had time to visit you.”
“My news is good.” The judge smiled, “ is very good even, because I have escaped the responsibility that is very dizzying.”
Both giggle. Ali and Ari pouted, making me and Tito’ reflexively smile.
Alan, he's the Judge's best friend. He was one of the leaders in the area. His position as deputy head of the district did not prevent him from always meeting with the Judge.
Their relationship is very close I've known since the judge became the leader of the family. The Judge's step in
running a family leadership is a little influenced by it.
“How are you guys, the child leaders?” Alan asked Ali and Ari.
“Good, Uncle.” Answer both compact.
“You are great.” Alan smiled proudly, “ I heard, those greedy historical thieves are running out of sense
facing you.”
Ari smiled, she looked proud.
“Ahh. It is our duty to protect the people's property, right?” As usual, Ali was down.
“Truely the right choice.” Alan said weakly to himself.
“What's the right choice, Uncle?” Ari responded.
“Aahh.. Mean Uncle.. Choosing you as the next generation of the family is really the right choice.”
“But.. Uncle looks less satisfied?” Tanya Ali.
“Lately.. When the family history theft happened to your family, I became very worried.” Alan exhaled, “I was so afraid, lest my idea that I shared with the Judge destroy everything.”
“Mean Uncle?” Ask Ari.
“Definitely about the age criteria of the next generation.” Ali guess.
Alan nodded, “Wah, how do you know, Ali? As far as I know, the only proponent of the idea that was exposed at the time was Judge.” Alan was stunned, but then laughed as he looked at the Judge.
“I'm just guessing, Uncle.”
“Although just a guess, but it was an impressive guess. One wouldn't guess without knowledge, would one?” Alan is enthusiastic, “how do you know?” Ask curiously.
“How did you guess, Ali?” Ari was also interested, “only the only father at that time who was very bitter
fighting for the next generation of five to fifteen years of age.”
Ari laughed, “time that time, a lot of people who oppose father. But no one defended him.”
“It's easy to guess, Ari.” Ali smiled, “you know who your father's best friend is, right?”
Ari nodded, “Uncle Alan.”
“True.” Ali smiled again, “Who is always in discussion with Uncle Judge?”
Ari interested, “Uncle Alan.”
“Uncle Alan.” Said Ari. However, he looks confused, “But that does not explain why you guessed that Uncle Alan was the originator of the idea.”
Ari's right. The judge and Alan were confused. How did Ali guess?
Ali smiled, “did you forget, Ari? A few days before the idea was floated in public, Uncle Judge had berkilah on us.”
“Really?” Judges interested.
“Oh iiya, I remember.” Ari enthusiastic. “that time we played in that boring library.” Everything reflexes laugh at him, “when suddenly father comes with a huffed face."
Dad said, ‘how to eliminate corruption in the midst of the family? No one in the family has the potential to choose promising to abolish it.’ After that father was silent for a moment and then continued, ‘choose children was the same as his.’”
“But.” The judge was seen trying to remember, “that time I did not say about who proposed to choose the children.”
Now everyone is focused on Ali, waiting for an explanation.
Ali smiled, “paman, I told you, I was just guessing.” He looked at Alan and the Judge alternately, “aku
not expecting, it turned out that my guess was correct.”
Laughs.
“Eh, it's like the paper of the Great Book.” Alan said reflex when he saw me on Tito’'s lap.
“Eh, Iyya.” Answer Tito’.
His expression still implied guilt, “ini was indeed a paper of the Great Book.”
“Why.?” Alan looks confused.
“I gave it.” Said Ali in a hurry.
“Why? Isn't that paper very important?” Alan is still confused, “Only certain people can have it right?”
“It should be like that.” Ali sighed, “but I have decided, that the Great Book is no longer something
which should be kept secret.”
Alan's shocked.
I'm sure Ali doesn't want to keep the Great Book secret anymore because one thing, the Great Book is no longer the original book. It even contains a lot of lies. What is it to be kept secret?
Tito’ put me back in the bag. Alan watched still with a shocked expression mixed in confusion.
Non-rigid.
“Waah, I'm looking everywhere, it turns out you guys are here?” Agung's distinctive voice breaks the desolate conditions.
“Eh, Mr. Teacher.” Ari cheerfully greeted.
“Good day, Sir.” Ali said hello, “Pak Guru looking for us?”
“Iya. I went to the office house. I was hoping to meet my naughty students. But I didn't find anyone there.” Great kidding, “new this time I found a locked official house during working hours.”
Everybody laugh.
“I excuse me.” Tito’ suddenly pamphit.
“Eh, you're not leaving because of me, are you?” Agung joked again by pretending to be offended.
“Of course not.” Tito’ takes a breath, “I just. have a little affair.”
“It must have something to do with someone in the diary right, sis?” Ari back teasing.
Tito’ chuckles as it passes.
