Mute Witness
Visiting the Judge (2)

“How are you?” Tanya Tito’, friendly.

“Ah... Better than I thought.” The answer is a small laugh. “I feel calmer. Especially when knowing that my next generation turned out to be reliable more than I expected.”

“Pak Hakim is great. What drives you to choose children like them?” Ask

Tito’.

“It wasn't my idea.” Answer Judge.

I know, it doesn't surprise me. The judge once told me about it, but it was later removed

for a reason.

“Not idea Mr Judge?” Tito’ asked who sounded confused.

“Iya.” The judge exhaled slowly, “To be frank, I am among the vehement opponents of recruitment

next generation age 5-15 years.”

“Meanour father?” Tito’ is still confused. “Didn't that time you willingly opposed by various circles

including own family Advisory Board?”

Silent.

“But, if in fact the father himself is a strong opponent of recruitment aged five to fifteen years, then why appear in public with the opposite opinion?”

Judge laughs crisply, “Aah.. That's the past. I am grateful to have taken such a stance.” The judge sighed, “Already, the past need not be discussed anymore.”

“But.”

“Good day, Father.” Sapa Ari, cheerful.

“Siang.” Answer Judge, “Eh.. Why would a family leader go to a place like this during business hours?” tanyanya tempt.

From his tone, I'm sure the Judge knows what happened. I don't know how often Ari and Ali visit him.

“Y.. We come to work.” Ari answered her father's temptation.

The three of them laughed.

Somehow Tito’ expression.

“We came to discuss something uncle.” Ali was serious.

“Loh. You have an Advisory Board. Your job as a leader is to discuss with them.”

“But Dad, they're a joint.” Ari's sentence was suddenly cut off.

“Aaahh.. It's Tito’. You guys must know him, right? Because he's one of the members of the Family Advisory Board.”

The judge is aware of the situation.

Ari and Ali seemed to have just realized the presence of Tito’ there.

“Why Advisory Board?” Tanya Tito’ casual.

“Ehh.” Ari sounded confused.

“Do not worry, Tito’ on your side.” Judge thawed the atmosphere, “He always even took the time

visit me almost every night to deliver the latest news to me.”

So, that's the reason why Tito’ never helped Zen collect books?

“Oh.” Ari and Ali are relieved.

“What other problems are there?” Ask Judge.

As expected, Ari and Ali always consulted him.

“This is Uncle, about the Great Book.” Ali said while lowering his voice.

It's possible that the discussion of me is very taboo in this room.

“Why with the Great Book?” Ask the judge, interested.

“The original Great Book.” Ali took a breath, “sent someone to the official house this morning.”

“Really?” Judge don't believe, “Why did you send it Tito’?”

Tito’ just shut up. I'm sure he was surprised.

Silent.

“I order you to keep it in your house right?”

“Bu.. It wasn't me who did it.” Tito’.

“Yes God.. Who else is involved?” Confused judge.

“Think.. Brother Tito’ who sent to us.” Said Ari.

“Not me.” Tito’ takes a heavy breath. “I came here to apologize for losing the book.”

“I'm so scared. But I had no choice but to admit my ignorance. But, I did not expect the book to be sent to you.” Tito’ tries to explain with the body still shaking.

“I'm really sorry.”

“Already.” The judge finally made a sound, resigned. “At least, the book did not fall into the wrong hands.”

“Kak Tito’, I want to give you this.” Said Ali.

“My Daily Book?” Tito’ exclaimed in shock.

It seems, losing myself made her forget about her diary which was also lost.

“Yes.. The book was shipped one package with Book Agung.”

“Oh.”

Tito’ grabbed his backpack on his back and inserted the Little Book. After that, he got me out of there. There is no time for me and the Little Book to talk. We just looked at each other and smiled.

“I want to return this paper.” Tito’ said while handing me over to Ali, “I'm really sorry for interfering in your family history.”

“Kak Tito’ actually helped us a lot.” Ali smiled sincerely, “Take the paper sis. I'm sure, one day you need it.” Ali pushed me back to Tito’ with a meaningful smile.

“I really don't need it anymore.” Tito’ shook his head firmly while handing me back to

Ali, “I was very presumptuous because I dared to write on the Great Book without permission.”

“Then what if Brother Zen asks about the paper?” Tanya Ali smiled wryly.

Tito’ seems to remember something, “right too.” He said weakly while putting me on his lap.

“He will definitely ask me about this paper.” Tito’ sighed, “But, how did you know about Zen?” Ask wonder.

Ali smiled clumsyly, “I'm sorry, I read her diary.”

Red Tito’ face goes out.

She clearly looks embarrassed.

“I'm just looking for the sender's identity package.” Said Ali in a hurry, “Don't worry, I just read the cover and the last post about Kak Zen. I didn't get to read the whole.”

“Oh.” Tito’ smiled clumsy, relieved.

Tito’ did take the time to write something on the Little Book last night. Actually I was curious, but fear prevented me from asking the Little Book.

“Whatever.. What secrets are there in the book, brother?” Ari asked teasingly.

Tito’ still looks shy. He was silent, reluctant to respond.

“There is a story about someone special well?” Ari did not give up.

Tito’'s face is getting red.

Ali and Judge smiled knot.
