Multitalented Witch
Chapter 310: The Razortail Drake

Mo Fan rode the Swift Star Wolf as he landed on a wide road filled with trash and mud.

The road is about two kilometers long. Most likely it used to be one of the main streets of Jinlin City. The surrounding buildings were relatively taller, and consisted of office buildings and tall buildings.

The buildings were corroded by strange-looking mud. They looked like windowless construction frames. The buildings were very dilapidated, with fragments scattered nearby …

As he followed the path for a hundred meters, Mo Fan immediately found a cement wall blocking the road ahead. The height of the wall was similar to that of nearby buildings, blocking vision like a huge dam.

The Swift Star Wolf quickly reminded Mo Fan that the place after the wall was extremely dangerous.

With his enemies chasing behind, Mo Fan headed towards the slope of the wall without hesitation. However, when he reached the top, a gigantic hill suddenly covered his entire vision.

Why is there such a high hill right in the middle of a desolate city?

Upon taking a closer look, Mo Fan immediately shivered.

It's not a hill at all. It was actually a nest built with dry mud. The nest is located right in the busiest place in the city. It was over a hundred meters taller than the tallest skyscraper in the city, and seemed to have almost reached the clouds.

The hill was dense with holes. There are so many of them that it makes the scalp numb due to trypophobia.

{Note Editor: Your words today!}

Each hole is a nest of Giant Lizards. Mo Fan was already intimidated when the Swift Star Wolf mentioned that there were more than ten of their nests ahead. However, when he set his sights on the nest higher than this skyscraper, he immediately felt the urge to leave.

To hell with an adventure into a lion's den, destroy the slim chance of survival he thought he had. If all the ferocious beasts inside this nest came out, they could easily destroy Jinlin City again.

“No, something's not right. I don't feel a lot of aura! Could this be the remnant habitat of the Giant Lizard, as most of them had retreated to Dongting Lake? It's just an empty shell?” Mo Fan calmed down immediately.

This was the first time Mo Fan had witnessed the next demonic beast. The visual impact is comparable to watching a skyscraper made by a human.

Most importantly, Mo Fan noticed that the dry mud was actually mixed with vehicles, light poles, billboards, etc. The nest is not purely made of mud. It was mixed with various objects, including corpses!

“If all that's left is an empty shell, or maybe there are some Giant Lizards living in it, I might still have a chance! Oh mama, here comes the guy!” Mo Fan was in the middle of his mutter when he saw a pair of giant wings protruding at the top of the nest.

Mo Fan looked closer and realized that the movement of the wings felt like a simple stretch. A giant red head hung right next to the nest. His mouth was half open, with saliva flowing out like a tap of water.

It was a Commander-level beast that had killed a Pseudomorphing Demon Beast with a single bite, an Advanced Razortail Drake!

Razortail Drake bears a great resemblance to the dragons of the West. They come from different countries. Razortail Drake is considered a subspecies of the dragon that once moved to Dongting Lake in the past, and has lived there for hundreds of thousands of years, becoming an intimidating species of demonic beast.

The main lineage of these Razortail Drakes is the lizard, but its wings are clearly inherited from the dragon, so they are known as drakes. Their strength was most likely higher than the Darkwing Wolves who had conquered the Bo City trading building, because Razortail Drake had a distant relationship with dragons!

A small tornado whirled through the air. The giant Razortail Drake is fast asleep. His snoring was as loud as thunder, while his own breath was as strong as that of the Wind Witch.

It was quite frightening to know that an animal that could be described as a Grim Reaper was sleeping on top of its nest.

Fortunately, he was far from it. Otherwise, Mo Fan would not have the courage to move hastily, given how the Pseudomorphing Demon Beast was killed almost instantly by the beast!

”–

Mo Fan and the Swift Star Wolf continued to the area where the nest was located. The places nearby were completely dry. There were not a single ferocious beast in sight around him. Most likely Giant Lizards are resting in the nest, and only come out at night, because they are active at night.

Lizards are not afraid of sunlight, but they prefer gloomy or rainy days.

As he continued along the way, Mo Fan saw his enemies climbing the cement wall behind him.

He looked at the female advisor Jiang Yi in her gray-white uniform, followed by a group of Intermediate-ranked Magicians. They seemed to know nothing about fear as they chased.

"Where are you going to hide this time!" Jiang Yi's ugly face was wearing a cold grin. It was unacceptable for Battlemage to go through so much trouble just to hunt down a student!

"I also don't plan to run," Mo Fan shrugged, as if he had given up.

“Do you think you have a chance to escape by using confusion? Just to tell you, this Giant Lizard is not strong enough for us to treat them seriously! ” Jiang Yi smiled.

"Is that so? What about those in the nest?” Mo Fan smirked.

His right arm was engulfed in flames. He did not fire a Fiery Fist into Battleimage, but aimed at the bottom of the nest instead.

The Fiery Fist was like a small meteorite. It swept through the air and landed accurately at the base of the nest.

Due to the size of the nest, the force of the blow was only enough to shake a few caves close to the base of the nest.

However, that movement alone was more than enough to shock every Giant Lizard at the bottom of the nest. Countless heads started coming out of the hole as they uttered agitated cries while glaring at the intruders.

It's been years since something alive appeared here. They could feel their stomachs rumbling, as they had not tasted human flesh for a long time!
