Mr. Zombies

Mr. Zombies
Gotchas! I've found you (5)

"You know Jas, I'm suspicious of elo"

I don't know what got into me until I made that statement as soon as we got to the resting place.

Jason looked at me for a moment, then refocused on watching the surroundings.

"Gue knows"

He answered without looking at me.

I looked at Jason in disbelief

"Lo know?"

Manya surprised.

Jason nodded his head, again without bothering to look at me.

"Gue knows Nels, even though you look quiet and calm, but actually among all, you're the one who's most suspicious of me"

"From the way you look at me, to the way you behave. Suspicion is clearly seen in you"

Answer's flat.

I fell silent as soon as I heard Jason's reply, recalling my attitude all this time to him. Seems like I never showed him my obvious curiosity?. My attitude is also ordinary. Not awkward or looking at him with a suspicious expression.

Jason sighed, this time he looked at me

"Lo tau Nels, I had time to discredit you first"

My eyes widened, then turned to annoyance upon realizing Jason's discrediting intent, especially if it wasn't about my standard brain and my galaxy-level magic?.

Jason continued his words

"Gue thought you were slow in thinking and understanding the situation. But it turns out I was wrong. Among all the elo is the fastest to understand what happens even though your brain stupid you choose not to think about it right after the event and only think after you feel yourself safe"

"Originally, throughout your conversation with Leah, I didn't sleep at all. I just listen to your stories. Nels, Sean and that figure are two different people. I'm not sure if Sean is a deathster or just a transitional zombie who can still control his body"

Jason furrowed his brows as soon as he mentioned Sean's name.

"Mageran lo attitude also in my opinion is not an ordinary mageran. Lo is just a mager with troublesome things, in other words your instincts are sharp. Tau which is beneficial and which is detrimental to elo"

I just slipped as Jason finished his long speech that looked like a railroad car. My brain was digesting Jason's words, understanding what he meant.

Jason sighed and walked over to me

"In other words you have a good brain and strong instincts"

He hit me slowly on the head with the tip of the rifle.

"Guh"

My ringis while stroking the head that actually does not hurt.

Jason suddenly fell silent, visibly considering something before finally taking a deep breath and saying

"Suspected of any self elo to me Nels, believe me I never meant to be evil to all elo. I just want us to be safe and both out of this forest"

"As for my true self, I'll make sure I tell you when the time is right"

Jason ended his sentence, looking at me with a hopeful expression for me to believe him.

Jason smiled, the first smile I've seen since I met Jason

"Thank you, Nels"

The sound of birds chirping slowly entered my eardrum. I squirm, stretching my body while occasionally rolling to the left and to the right.

My roll was stopped by a pair of hands blocking my path of rolling. I opened my eyes slowly while muttering

"Oh mom, still sleepy"

kicauku origin, back to close tightly.

My sleeping habits are falling apart, moving around, rolling around before my eyes can open wide. Usually it is my mother who is always on standby to stop my roll so that my body does not fall out of bed.

"Bad child. Feel at home yes. Wake up lo, Nels"

The voice of someone different from my mother's voice instantly made me open my eyes wide.

Ah, it was Leah who stopped my roll. In my heart I feel sad. I thought what I was having was a dream and now it was time for me to wake up.

"Let's take a shower Nels"

Selena pulled my hand, forcing me to sit down immediately.

I yawned for a while before following Selena and Leah who started walking towards the river. It seems that choosing a resting place near the river is the best choice.

Unknowingly my nose moved, sniffing my scent to check. The reflexes of my nose drifted away as soon as I realized the unpleasant smell that was slapping my nose. The effects of the flood of sweat after a few days of playing hide and seek with the zombies.

When the zombies were chasing us, I didn't realize at all that my scent was bad either. But maybe because the smell released by the zombies is stronger, the smell of my own body so not too sniffed in my nose.

"Jason, where?"

I asked when I realized I didn't find Jason from the moment I opened my eyes.

Selena and Leah compactly shrugged

"Either, he said he wanted to make sure of something. He keeps telling me"

Answer Selena cuek.

I just nodded my head. Recollecting Jason's request that I trust him even though the various questions about him have not been explained.

Looks like Jason is really sincere about wanting to protect us. Otherwise, why would he bother patrolling the longest portion of the hours between the four of us?.

My mind immediately felt fresh when I saw the flowing river flow, not too swift nor too calm. The water was even so clear that I could see rocks and small fish swimming between the rocks.

Without saying much, the three of us immediately threw ourselves together, enjoying the feeling of comfort. Eliminate the sultry and sticky feeling that we have felt for several days.

The river is also not too deep, only on the knees. Makes anyone feel safe and comfortable while soaking. It seems like this river is still one flow with the river that became a trekking destination on the first day of school camping. Ah, remembering that makes the sadness come back to my heart.

Though at that time we can still laugh cheerfully about the SMA period that is coming to an end. Discussing the love statement my friends planned at the bonfire. Although I casually sneered at them, saying that they should wake up from their dreams. Of course the teachers would not allow us to do mass expression.

Ah, now I have to admit that I miss the cynical gazes of my friends as I sneer at their conversation. Their frustration even hit them in my head when I always steal time to sleep while doing group chores.

I even missed Freya and Lara's abstract rant about Sean. The corner of my eye became heated up once I thought back to Freya's condition when I last met her as a zombie, her neck drooping with traces of flesh torn from the bite.
