Next to the Crimson Street signboard, I just follow the path to go home, or maybe I can look around the lake, anyway I already know the way home, so there's no need to worry about getting lost.
I decided to take a walk for a while, following the path that shows Lust Lake, I was a little wondering why the lake was named Lust, whether it was so beautiful that it captivated everyone, or there was a story behind it.
Far from my guess, it turns out that this road is long enough for a walker, now I feel quite tired, and thanks to this rocky road, make my legs hurt, I feel tired, but I keep trying to walk, it could be the distance to return is the same as the distance to arrive, that's what I think, so keep going on this journey.
Finally I came to an old gate that seemed like it was about to collapse, on it was inscribed Lust Lake, with mermaid symbols on both sides of the writing, I thought this was quite strange, isn't this a lake, it's a lake, and usually mermaids live in the sea, if they want to choose the symbol just use the fish, instead of the lake is usually used for fishing.
"Oh, it's possible that they ran out of fish cymbos" I said.
I walked through the gate, and began to see the wooden houses that were arranged, set up on the swamp. Some of them look like a shop, there are two or three small inns in between, and some look like houses.
At the end of the road there is a very large lake, in comparison to this beautiful lake looks spooky, there is a thin fog on the water that is tenag. When I reached the shore of the lake, a young lady
come up to me and say, “you're a new kid? I just saw you for the first time.”
“I just moved here” answered me, this girl may be my age, but she looks more mature and beautiful.
“Oh, then welcome!” Excited with a sweet smile on the face, “mau me take you around?”
Before I could answer, someone with a heavy voice said from our arms, and drove away the girl, neither did he resist and just left me.
“You will thank me later,” said the man, when I saw him with a confused face.
the man returned to the car he had been riding in, and took down some fishing gear, which looked very large, probably enough to catch a whale.
“Why did you kick him out?” I asked the man.
“You must be new here,” himself replied without answering my question, “of course you are new, otherwise, there is no way you are here.” He nodded again, and walked ahead of me.
I followed the man, past the wooden planks above the swamp, and we came to a small podok, an old woman with a large body and hair wrapped in cloth coming out from behind the door.
The man handed over a black bag from earlier in his tent, to the woman, “Mama he's new” the man introduced me, his face like asking what my name is, “Veda”.
“Veda” repeated the man to his mother, and whispered something to his mother, I think he was too old to live with his mother, shouldn't he have a family now.
“Call me Mama, everyone here calls me that,” the woman sounds more friendly than she looks, “ she said you were new” she let me inside.
This little cottage looks very comfortable, although full of things, but everything is arranged so neatly, at the end of which I walk to a terrace, and allow myself to sit there.
“You know what this place is?” Mama's voice asked me while bringing a glass of tea, and a cake on the plate.
“No, I think this used to be a tourist spot”.
“Your answer is not wrong, this place used to be a tourist attraction”
“What happened?” I asked, something obviously happened here, and everyone must have noticed, just by looking at the old gate in front of the road.
“There was an incident” Mama replied, her eyes were like staring at the incident a long time ago, “insiden it killed quite a lot of lives, so this place became what it is now, it was not like this” he continued, his eyes look sad, I can't imagine what happened to this place, until Mama's face, looks like the loss of someone who was in the air.
I clasped his hand, then Mama clasped back, and kissed the back of my hand, rubbed it gently, “it's long gone, but people are still afraid to come here” continued mama.
“He can talk so, but still dare not leave me, goods a minute here.” Mama said towards me, offending the man with a small laugh on her face.
“He's my son Vedas, his name is Milo, maybe you can call him uncle.” Mama introduced me to her, and I smiled hello.
Mama poured me another cup of tea, then bet, “have you heard the story about this lake?”
“Before” I said short, hopefully he will tell it, I am very interested in the stories of the past, whether it is history, or just the fairy tales told.
“You want to hear it?” Mama asked, and I nodded in encouragement.
“You need to know, this lake used to be very beautiful, although now it is also beautiful, but believe me this lake
can be more beautiful” said Mama.
“You must be curious why his name is Lust, a strange name for a lake.” He said like reading my mind, then continued, “as it means, this lake can tease you” he continued, my face is now confused, questions gathered in my head, how a lake that only contains water
and mud can tempt a person.
Mama chuckles at my face, “you must be wondering now”.
“Let me tell you initially”
“It was long before this village became what it is today, and the lake is still surrounded by the surrounding forest,
but even so there are already some residents who occupy around this lake,” Mama started the story.
“We call it a native, you can distinguish it from the color of his skin, which is a little reddish” continued Mama, “they live here, how they live, not much different from us
all, it's just that makes it the center of attention, the whole population is a woman.”
“Women?” Ask me
“Yes, all women, without any man one” Mama said.
I began to be confused, with the story, of course, this is just a fairy tale told in order to strengthen the impression of this lake.
“Which is no less interesting, the facts about them, will tempt the migrants, or explorers who are lost, and drag you into the lake” uncle Milo added.
“What?” I don't think I heard wrong, drowning people he said.
Mama patted Milo on the head, “that's right, in short that's what they did” explained Mama, then continued “after rumors about them spread, and the many cases of missing people, the residents of the nearby village, the, hunt and chase them.”
“But the rumor is there are still some who live here, and mingle with other villagers” uncle Milo added.
“Ya, the rumor was strengthened again with the incident of tulu” said Mama.
“What happened” I ventured to ask.
“The seductress came back again, that time it was very much” replied Mama, “not less with all of us.”
