Merely Protector
Chapters 19. Amendment

The water flowed following Silvi's curves, soaking all the cloths that covered her. Splashing sound disguises the stuffing. He closed his eyes, trying to calm the turmoil and tightness that increasingly ensnared in the heart.

It had been almost 30 minutes for the woman to sit on the cold floor of the bathroom feeling devastated. Hope had been lost, there was only a knife stuck right in the heart, leaving a gaping wound there.

"I have misinterpreted your attitude towards me all this time. If not love, why do you do all that, Mas Angga?"

Silvi shouted with all her might, letting go of all the disappointment in the heart, rather than just crying. Yeah, now he's a little relieved. Her chest was heaving with passionate emotions.

Silvi started to stand with limp legs. He was tired of crying there. Now his eyes are open, his lips are starting to lift. He felt as if he had gained strength.

"You must not be too weak, Silvi! You have to keep fighting." The woman clenched her hands in front of her chest. He was tired of being underestimated by people. It is time for Silvi to rise.

"It's not over yet. I have to get her heart before she can really remember. Don't be the cowardly Silvi again!"

Silvi looked so excited. However, the instant his eyes opened wide, aware of something. He looked down, finding that his clothes had all wet.

"Where, huh? I'm a fool," he said.

Silvi folded her hands over her chest. His head is slightly tilted to the right. He tried to think of a solution.

Finally, the woman took off all the clothes that were attached to her. He washed everything with the bath soap that was there. I don't know how much soap was poured to make foam on his shirt.

Silvi squeezed out the clothes with all her might, trying to bring out the remaining water. Iron Goden baffle becomes a place to dry for him. He didn't know where else to put it.

The woman rushed to finish her bath because she was already feeling cold. His head looked up from the bathroom door, trying to see the state of the room. After all, he did not pay attention to the surrounding conditions because he was too focused on the pain in the heart.

"This big room is empty, just a mattress and a small table? Rich people don't want a closet for guests, do they? It's bad!"

The room looks so neat. Bed right in the middle with a nightstand on his right-hand side. Plain white walls, only one section right next to the bathroom that has a straight line down.

Silvi did not want to get sick from the cold there. He immediately ran towards the bed, then sat right in the middle. He covered his entire body with a thick white blanket. The woman will wait there until her clothes dry.

A loud voice rang out from his stomach, the worms inside there began to protest. Since leaving for the house, Silvi has not included any food at all. Now his body was completely shivering with hunger and cold.

A knock on the door was heard, followed by the voice of a man. "Silvi, have you taken a shower?"

Before the woman answered, the door opened to show Angga sitting in a wheelchair. Silvi immediately put the blanket over her body. His heart was racing, afraid that any part of the body would be visible.

Angga frowned at Silvi's strange behavior. "Ngapain you? Not a shower."

The man started turning the wheel of the chair to get inside the room. He stopped just a few steps from the bed where Silvi was.

"I took a shower, really."

"You can use the faucet ...."

Angga's words stopped when he turned to the bathroom. The open door showed a view inside. The man's eyes were round.

"Don't look there!" Silvi's face immediately reddened as Angga had seen her underwear lined up in the bathroom.

Angga turned his gaze towards Silvi. "You're drying your clothes in there?" He pointed towards the bathroom.

"You told me to take a shower, but I wasn't ready for clothes. Yeah, I had to wash clothes to wear again."

Angga let out a long breath. He turned the wheel back on his chair, pushing it to the right side of Silvi. The man stopped right next to the wall that had a straight line down.

"It's, isn't it, clothes, Silvi? I asked my assistant to buy it."

"Oh, it was a closet" Silvi muttered. His face looks so innocent.

"So, are you wearing nothing now?"

Angga shook his head after seeing Silvi nod. "Quick get dressed, keep coming out. We'll have dinner together."

After Angga left the room, Silvi immediately locked the room door. He was afraid that the man would suddenly return to the room.

Silvi walked towards the closet. His eyes were round when he saw such beautiful clothes lined up there.

***

Angga and his parents were already sitting around the dining table. Reno is on the left side, while Emma is across the table, facing her. They're getting ready for dinner. However, Silvi did not go outside the room. I don't know what that woman did.

"Aren't you eating?" ask Emma.

"Silvi hasn't been here, Ma." Angga looked at the door of the room next to the kitchen.

"Ngapain wait for him. If you are hungry, eat by yourself." Emma stuffed a spoonful of rice into her mouth with a slight roughness. He felt annoyed that the child was paying so much attention to the village woman.

Angga's eyes were perfectly rounded when a woman walked out of the door she had been staring at. Silvi is so graceful with a plain negligee of salted egg blue with a neck shape of the letter V and knee-high length. The hair is stroked and the thin makeup on the face adds to its charm.

"Well, you wear that kayak shirt? Want to tease Angga?" Emma looked at Silvi threat-filled. "No, you can't! From tonight you sleep apart until forever."

Silvi just smiled faintly at Emma's words. But in his heart he was a little happy. What Angga's mother said signified that the man had not told her much about them.

Very different, you are much more beautiful, Silvi. Angga could not stop staring at Silvi who was now in the seat next to his right. His chest looks blooming with a rising heart rate.

"Female, already! Come on, eat up! Why see him continue," said Reno firmly.

Angga regained his senses, then turned his gaze to the rice in the dish in front of him. His head slightly shook, both ends of the lips were pulled upwards. He felt ridiculous for already looking at Silvi like that.

Silence continued until they finished eating. Everyone left the table immediately after. The dining area looks dark and quiet.

When it was almost midnight, Silvi was still unable to fall asleep in a new place. He got out of bed, and went to the door. The woman wanted to get some water in the kitchen.

"Who is that?"

Silvi was surprised when the door of the new room opened slightly, a black shadow was seen towards the stairs. The figure's steps seemed staggered. He was convinced that it was a figure from another world because the posture was not like a human, big and tall.

The woman immediately closed the door again. He climbed onto the bed, then covered his body with a blanket. The fine feathers all over the body were already standing in line, showing the utmost fear. The eyes try to shut in order to forget the event that just happened.

Seriate.
