Merely Protector

Merely Protector
Chapters 17. Ignored

Now two pairs of eyes were fixed on Alia with an empty mind, unable to digest the situation. They still could not digest what the woman said. Reason refused to accept this statement.

"Yes, Angga. You must marry Alia!" Emma stared intently at the child.

Silvi mamandang Angga. He was convinced that Angga would reject the marriage, regardless of the consequences. As the man said that he was a legitimate wife even if only according to religion.

Angga was silent. His mind was full of indigestible complexity. All spinning without being caught until he felt it was all a stab in the mind. He held his head with both hands. Cold sweat has been pouring out.

"You why Angga?" Emma panicked by holding the child's arm.

"I think he's thinking too hard, Auntie. Let him rest first. Don't make him think too much!" silvi.

Emma glanced at the village woman. He did not like to hear the talk from Silvi. Next to his lips was also seen rising, as if he was scolding.

"Come, Ma, take Angga up to the room!" Reno wrapped her son's right arm around his neck.

Emma obeyed the husband's orders without rebutting. They led the child to the stairs to go up to the second floor.

Silvi got up from her seat. He walked where they went. However, his kirin arm was suddenly pulled by Alia. At once his steps stopped, then his head turned back followed by all limbs.

"Where are you going?" Alia stomped on Silvi's arm, then rubbed the palm with a tissue. He felt dirty after touching the village woman.

"I want to see Angga. He had to take this medicine," Silvi showed Alia a bag of medicine, "to relieve her headache." Both eyeballs only dared to look at the lower body of the woman before him.

It was true that Silvi was a weak village woman. He alone did not dare to look directly into Alia's eyes. Then, how would that woman maintain her status later on? I don't know, all these things have not gone into his mind. He only believed in the belief that Angga would still choose him.

"Let me love you! I can too. He doesn't need you anymore either!" Alia snatches the medicine in Silvi's hands. He stomped his right leg once, then left just like that village lady.

Silvi let Alia down without wanting to argue. He turned around, his eyes following where the woman was going. A long sigh was heard when the woman he had been watching since had disappeared from sight.

Problems are not to be dealt with harshly, but to be patiently addressed. He was sure the fruit of patience would taste good. God has promised a reward, so he does not want to waste it.

Silvi just sat there waiting without being able to do anything. Without feeling the seconds have changed minutes, minutes also change hours. He just kept silent and observed the surroundings like a dazed person.

Eyes slowly open, trying to adjust to the bright light around. I don't know how long Angga slept, but it seems that now the sun has been at its highest peak. All of that can be seen from the shadow of the object on the balcony.

"Are you conscious, honey?"

A woman's voice distracts the man. Angga turned to the right side, there was Alia sitting on the side of the bed. However, his mouth was still closed, not wanting to let out even a single word.

"That's more than three hours you fainted, honey. I'm always here waiting for you to wake up."

Alia was annoyed because she had been cultivated by Angga. He immediately walked out of the room to look for Emma. He wants to express the attitude of his lover. When he had gone down the stairs, his eyes caught the figure of a shabby woman in the living room.

"You still there? Why not just go home? Your job is done to take care of Angga!"

Alia's voice shocked Silvi who was being sleepy. Yes, the comfort of the atmosphere of the house makes the eyes more heavily opened. If you do not hear the question a little loud earlier, maybe soon he is in the dream realm.

"Sorry, Angga hasn't told me to go home yet" Silvi said.

"You should be self-conscious, dong. You village lady!"

Steps heard from above. Emma came out of the room after hearing Alia's voice which was like a quarrel. He wanted to know what kind of commotion was going on.

"Well, you take care of the village woman? Just gigabyte of energy." Emma folded her hands in front of her chest when she got next to Alia.

"That's right, Auntie. We better see Angga. He's up, Auntie." Alia embraces Emma's arm, then pulls away upwards towards Angga's room.

Silvi bowed after their departure. His heart was further hurt after hearing Alia's words. However, strong beliefs are still attached to the heart so that it still survives even though ignored.

Since then Silvi just sat in the living room without being noticed by the host. In fact, a sip of drink he didn't get. He realized why it all happened.

"Are you feeling a little better?" Emma rubbed Angga's burly arm.

Now everyone has gathered in Angga's room, except Silvi. They are not willing if the village woman who will replace Alia. So, the plan of the three people is to convince the man to keep the marriage going.

Everyone knew that the only child of the Bastian family was very difficult to persuade his heart. Angga's decision is the end result that can not be changed by anyone, including the father. However, they will keep trying at all costs.

Angga just nodded his head to answer the mother's question. His head was fine after taking the medicine. He was ready to face the three people who were staring at him.

"Not to talk anymore. You guys must be talking about my marriage to her, right?" Angga pointed towards Alia with his chin, then carried the three of them.

"The wedding preparations are well planned, Angga. Two months is not a long time either. So please think of the village woman" said Emma. His voice was so soft, like silk.

Angga pulled one end of his lips. "Do I have to believe? You must want to take advantage of my situation that does not remember anything and nyengkirin Silvi. Don't you ever try to trick me, yeah!" Angga stared one by one at the faces of the people around him.

"Do what I will benefit you, Angga. I am your mother, the woman who gave birth to and raised you. Where could I have done that" said Emma. His eyes are starting to dew.

Angga fell silent, contemplating the words of his mother. It's true, he doesn't need to doubt Emma's words. Which mother would plunge her child into the abyss. The love that is in the heart of the mother will definitely prevent this from happening. The strong woman will always protect her child in any situation.
