CHAPTERS. 2 Men Named Renal

The sound of the plane taking off echoed around the airport, a man named Renal Aldian Saputra with a tall body in a handsome, black hair curtain model walked out of the airport door.

at that time in London, England, in the winter, Renal wrapped his body with a coat where previously he was wearing a layered t-shirt and black hoodie, he looked around still not so many people and taxis that there because the clock just showed at 3 am.

"Mr.Renal" shouted someone among the many roars of the sound of the plane and also the wind that was quite strong hit the handsome face of Renal and made his hair bangs slightly disheveled. 

Renal squinted his minus eyes trying to find the direction of the voice until the figure of a middle-aged man with brownish red hair with clear yellow eyes using a thick coat, found him, some of the neatly combed hair has been taped with snow.

"Doctor Richard, nice to meet you" Renal said as he approached Dr. Richard who is a lecturer and doctor, when he became an exchange student 2 years ago before he finally graduated and became a General Physician now. 

"long time no see Renal, hurry in let me take you" said Dr. Richard grabs Renal's suitcase without waiting for an answer from the owner.

Renal who was not feeling well was offered a ride was just smiling awkwardly and rushed to the passenger seat beside the driver.

While on the way some small talk they talk until where Renal finally knows that Dr. Richard at the airport is no accident because of the hospital where Renal will work, informing him that Renal's arrival has been determined, Dr. Richard who was the one who recommended him to work there, was very enthusiastic and picked him up straight away.

"so, are you sure you don't want to stay at my house for a while? " ask Dr. Richard had entered the neighborhood where Renal's apartment, where Renal's girlfriend had occupied the apartment a year ago. 

"yes doctor, thank you for your offer, but I don't want to bother you, especially if I haven't seen my girlfriend for a long time. " Renal answered with a soft laugh from Dr. Richard.

"young people today are different, yes already then, have fun" said Dr. After Richard pulled the car over, Renal quickly got out of the car and grabbed his suitcase in the trunk.

"thank you so much for taking me, I hope you are safe on the doctor's trip

" renal said, which was greeted by nods and a slow hand wave from Dr. Richard, now Dr. Richard took his car back to the street and disappeared into a corner not far from the apartment.

Renal sighed for a moment making a thin puff of smoke from his mouth, while staring at the 6-story apartment building that soared into the dark sky where the snowflakes fell quite a lot. He walked into the apartment lobby is quite spacious, although the apartment he has is only a small apartment but the condition of this apartment is quite good. 

He took the elevator to the 5th floor where his apartment was located, after being at the door he entered several combinations of codes and rushed in, from the entrance of the small apartment, the kitchen and living room face to face leading to a large glass balcony where Renal can see the light of the dense London settlement and bathroom and bedroom facing each other on the left side of the room. 

Renal spread his gaze looking for the figure of his girlfriend who he did not meet for a long time, instead of turning on the lights he chose to set the room temperature and open the balcony curtains wide waiting for the arrival of sunlight, he said, because the clock was almost showing at half-hour 5 am although the lighting in the apartment was only aided by the light of the city of London that burst in, but Renal's minus eyes can still see around him. 

He wanted to surprise his girlfriend, as the room temperature had warmed up Renal took off his coat and placed it on the head of the dining table chair in the kitchen as he lit an electric kettle to make a cup of coffee to warm his body that had not fully received the temperature it's cold in the winter in London. 

Not long after he struggled to make coffee, from the direction of the apartment door was heard the sound of a combination of open door codes, Renal gave a smile waiting to surprise his girlfriend. But suddenly he was fixated when the one who entered not only his girlfriend but another man, where with the lack of light in the apartment, Renal heard clearly that his girlfriend was making out with another man, Renal turned on the lights, how shocked he was when he saw his girlfriend and the man started to take off their clothes but stopped in shock when the lights came on and knew that there was someone else in the apartment.

"RENAL?!! " Sheeched the short-haired woman with ruffled makeup, her half-oriental face, the color of mature brown skin seemed to shudder in horror when she found out that she was making out with another man.

Renal only retreated slowly as the woman tried to approach him, there were no words Renal could say at that time, except that he quickly took back his suitcase and coat, the sound of the teapot that he had just lit rang and left it, while walking half-run out of the apartment, the woman was trying to chase him but it was too late, Renal had entered the elevator and left.

On the morning road where a thin mist descends on the road, the sky is still gray with a hint of orange light in the eastern rim, signaling the sun soon appears, the snow begins to stop falling, and, Renal walks on the sidewalk where he occasionally sees drunk men sitting on the side of the road and some beggars using cardboard protect themselves from the cold, winter stings.

When he found out quickly, he called someone.

"Can you come to our usual place? " Renal said straightforwardly, then turned off his phone just like that.

The clock has shown 7.40 where at that time Renal was sipping coffee that he ordered a moment ago, not long ago came a brownish black-haired man, handsome face because his face blaster shows a unique appearance mixing of Asian and European facial characters, and, his eyes are yellowish brown and his body is tall.—obviously it is a physical character of someone who is difficult to forget that is Aditya Pratama Brown.

"why didn't you say you were coming today? " Tanya Aditya after ordering something in front of the cashier and stormed the chair in front of her friend who was focusing on staring at the coffee cup.

"of course I didn't say because it's a surprise" Renal murmured lazily. Aditya fell silent and just rolled his eyes feeling that something was wrong with his friend.

"what is this about Shopia? " ask Aditya carefully but directly in the fierce face by his friend.

"wow, whoa! patiently, I don't know what happened, shopia has not gone to work and he may not work anymore, I was transferred to another division, so I don't know about it" obviously Aditya who knows clearly with the character of his friend who he promised will continue to monitor his girlfriend.

But it cannot be denied that, busyness in the hospital can not make him keep that promise well.

"i don't blame you, I should have known for a long time that this relationship wouldn't last" Renal said with a faint smile, Aditya just rubbed his hands feeling a little guilty even though he did not know what happened—in his mind full of curiosity, but for the sake of keeping his friend's feelings, he undo the intention to ask.

"i'll take my apartment deposit" Renal said breaking the momentary silence.

"are you looking for another apartment?" ask Aditya while sipping his coffee that just came.

"yes, I can't go back to the apartment where I caught my own boyfriend making out there. " Renal said which then made Aditya choke, Aditya's face looked very surprised by the news —of course Shopia was once an innocent girl who participated in the student exchange because of her achievements, Shopia was once an innocent girl, but after graduation a lot of things changed from him.

"so you see it firsthand" said Aditya was not finished with what his friend had just experienced, but there was little that intrigued him, he said, because it has become a general secret girls like Shopia will change because of their environment.

"if that's the case, it's lucky that you survived such a woman" Aditya said, but Renal didn't really listen to Aditya's words, Renal seemed to be tapping his phone with a distant look.

"now I need a new apartment, but I just got a chat from the owner of my apartment, if the deposit can be liquid tomorrow, now I don't have enough money to rent a new apartment. " Renal is clearly with a complex facial expression to explain.

"hm?! then just rent my family's apartment" said Aditya find a solution.

"well, assuming for my extra money, I give you a 50% discount, this is the price friends know, you're a pretty diligent person.My parents are coming home to Manchester, taking care of my grandmother and grandfather, take care of my parents, now at home there is no one, sometimes only a maid who comes once a week, you can stay there, pay me the maintenance fee of the apartment only" said Aditya, Renal was interested in it, for the beginning of life in this city of London, advice from Aditya is quite reasonable.

"alright, if you don't mind.we better do a black contract on white, because I don't want to argue with you about money, because I will definitely run out of all my money" Renal said, which makes Aditya laughs softly considering some past events where Renal always lost in terms of anything related to money.
