Medina actually spent her time cleaning the house and cooking. She really misses being a housewife. Because during her life with Daniel, Medina really could not do it freely. Daniel always forbade him on the grounds that he did not want to make Medina exhausted.
"Ehh.
wedding gifts kept here?" Medina was shocked to see her husband's gym room was empty. Medina came to mesana intending to clean the room.
Curious about the other room...Medina opened the workspace and guest room.
"What?? It's empty here too?" Medina shut the door. He then walked into the room and took his cell phone. She will ask this to her husband.
But before he called Daniel, his phone rang first.
"Mama..." Medina immediately hit the green tokobol on her phone screen.
"Assalamualaikum, ma" Sapa Medina.
Medina was surprised when Mama Safira gave her a message on the way to the apartment with Syifa who continued to cry because she did not want to be invited home when she returned home from school.
Syifa was still keeping her distance from her mother, let alone seeing the condition of Rani who continued to vomit her stomach contents made the little girl feel unbearable.
Medina glanced at the clock on the table. It's lunch time. But she had not cooked anything, as she planned to cook later in the afternoon when her husband was coming home.
Still holding her phone, cradling what she should cook or order food. If you think the time needed for cooking and delivery time is almost the same.
"I'd better cook it." Medina walked towards the kitchen and began to bring out the ingredients she was going to cook.
Almost half an hour passed, Medina almost finished her work in the kitchen and heard a bell ringing.
"That must be them." Medina ran small towards the door and immediately opened it.
"Mama....." Syifa immediately hugged Medina with her weeping growing louder. Even until a hiccup.
"Darling...." Medina immediately carried and brought Syifa inside.
"Who accompanied Rani's sister, ma?" Medina asked after seeing Bi Host and Babysitter Syifa.
"There is Danu at home" replied Mama Safira who had sat on the sofa.
"Honey.mama please stop crying. Your voice will run out" persuaded Medina.
"How was school today?" Medina tried to distract the little girl.
"Sir..was Syifa also crying like this at school?" Ask Medina to her babysitter.
"Ifa doesn't cry at school" Sela Syifa before her babysitter answers.
Mama Safira and Medina smiled at Syifa's quiet voice.
"Syifa's gonna take a shower?" Syifa immediately nodded as Medina offered her a bath.
"After the shower we'll eat together, okay?" Medina brought her little daughter into her room.
After finishing bathing and eating, Syifa immediately fell asleep very soundly. Maybe because he was tired all day.
"Mama should also rest" Medina extended her hand.
"We just chat while watching the movie" Mama Safira gave an idea.
"Mama's favorite movie? Or my favorite?" Medina asked with a smile.
"You know, ever since you came into our lives, my favorite movies have changed just like you." Mama Safira replied making Medina giggle.
Both of them then ran out of the room. Medina immediately turned on the television and inserted a flash drive that consisted of dozens of her favorite films.
"This one?" Medina asked which made her mother-in-law look over.
"Is the movie sad?" Mama Safira asked back.
Medina shrugged both of her shoulders. "Medina hasn't seen it either."
"Yes already.provide wipes and snacks" Pinta mama Safira with her special laugh.
Medina walked towards the kitchen to pick up some fruits and snacks that her husband had bought this morning. Not to forget, he also invited Bi Host and Babysitter Syifa to join them in watching the film.
The four began to seriously watch when the film was already displaying images. Until finally the three-hour film was finished they watched.
"What are you thinking?" Ask Mama Safira to Medina who is still wiping her tears. Mama Safira was very worried about her beloved.
The movie they just watched follows the life of a girl who was abandoned by her parents at birth. And in the end met with both parents when the girl has grown up and has married.
The storyline was very similar to the life Medina lived today.
"Darling...." Mama Safira hugged Medina.
"Medina's fine, ma." Sahut Medina did not want to make her mother-in-law sad.
"Medina is not the same as the woman in the film. She's alone, while Medina's got you."
"While Medina can't meet the biological family, you already consider Medina the real family of Medina." Medina said with her tears in her eyes.
The two hugged very tightly. Unaware of Daniel's arrival, she sees two women she loves.
"Achemmm!!" Daniel nodded until both of them looked.
"Is the movie so sad that you're this sad?" Ask Daniel.
"When's brother coming home?" Medina took off her mother-in-law's embrace and walked over to her husband.
Daniel looked at his wife's sad face even though Medina greeted him with a smile.
"Ahh.yep. I want to ask." Sela Medina as her husband is about to speak.
"What?"
"Some of the rooms in this apartment are empty. Not even any wedding gifts. Did you move her?" Medina asked who did not know about Daniel's plan to take him to their new home.
"emmm.that's...." Daniel stammered, looking at his mother.
"He wants to change the furniture." Sela mama Safira gets a code from Daniel to help her answer.
"Ohh...Why is sister telling stories?" Ask Medina again.
"I forgot to tell you. Sorry...." Daniel hugged Medina then kissed her cheek gently.
"I'll see Syifa. Maybe he's up." Medina stood up from her seat and walked towards the room.
"Huff!!" Daniel took his breath.
"Mama didn't divulge my secret, did she?" Daniel asked after Medina left.
"If you tell him, he won't ask "Safira replied.
"Thank God" Daniel laid down his body on the couch. And then Medina came out of the room with Syifa who had just woken up from her sleep.
"Darling..Why did you just wake up?" Daniel asked while rubbing Syifa's back.
"I'll prepare dinner." Medina smiled and walked towards the kitchen.
While Daniel, Mama Safira and Syifa went into the room because they were going to perform Maghrib prayers.
"What do you want to cook?" Bi Host who heard Medina's words followed her from behind.
"Syifa really likes chicken teriyaki, I'll cook it. To my mom and husband...." Medina was still thinking what she would cook for the two. Since it's dinner, Medina wants her menu to be healthy.
Medina opens the fridge and picks up the broccoli, and the tuna fish. "We're gonna cook this for my mom and husband." Medina began to mix vegetable ingredients that will be cooked with the help of Bi Host and Babysitter Syifa.
But while grilling Salmon fish, Medina felt nauseous smelling the aroma caused by the cuisine. Medina immediately ran into the bathroom on the left side of the kitchen.
Bi Host and Babysitter were astonished by Medina's sudden rush to the bathroom.
"Nduk...kamu why?" Bi Host knocked on the bathroom door.
"Miss why bi?" Ask babysitter.
"Do we need to call Mr. Daniel bi?" The babysitter started to worry because Medina was still in the bathroom.
"She called, hurry!" The babysitter ran and knocked on the door. Daniel and Mama Safira were shocked.
"Sorry Madam, sir...Missy...." The baby sitter looked nervous.
"What's wrong with Medina?" Ask Mama Safira.
Daniel who was worried immediately ran towards the kitchen.
"What's bi?"
"Miss enters the bathroom while vomiting, den" replied Bi Host.
"Honey....! open door!" Daniel shouted while banging on the door.
THE CZECH!!
Medina came out with a pale face because she spewed out all her stomach contents until she felt weak and let out cold sweat.
"Honey" Daniel immediately carried Medina and carried her into the room.
"Darling..kamu why?" Mama Safira was worried.
Medina was only able to shake her head while closing her eyes.
"We're going to the hospital now" Daniel said, looking at his wife.
"Don't do it" Rejected Medina in a weak voice.
"I just need a break." Medina smiled.
"Den.give me this warm tea." Bi Host brought warm tea and handed it to Daniel.
"Thank you, bi."
"Honey..drink." Daniel helps his wife wake up while thrusting a cup into Medina's mouth.
"Are you sure you don't want to get checked?" Daniel is still worried that his wife is being cared for at home.
Medina simply replied with a slow nod.
"Mama...." Syifa approached with her crying voice.
"Why are you crying, baby?" Medina spread out both her hands.
"What's sick because of Syifa?" The little girl immediately hugged Medina.
"Of course not. Mama might catch a cold." Medina said as she stroked Syifa's hair.
"We'd better go home so Medina can rest." Mama Safira patted Daniel on the shoulder.
"Let's go with mom for a minute." Daniel followed Mma Safira out of the room.
"Don't worry too much...." Mama looked at Daniel who still looked worried.
"This is the first time Medina has been ill." Daniel looked at his mother.
"He's not sick, mama tasa....."
"Ma...Daniel is still worried about Medina. Don't worry Daniel any more." Daniel scolded.
"Buy a pregnancy test kit and have Medina hold her urine tomorrow morning." Mama Safira said with a smile.
"meaning?"
"You're really insensitive?" Mama pinched Daniel's hand until she complained.
"May my mother's guess be right." Mama walked into the room with a face that left Daniel still confused.
"Mama and Syifa just stay the night." Medina said as she watched her mother-in-law enter.
"Mama's coming home, baby." Mom with a happy face.
"Tomorrow Syifa must go to school." continued Mama Safira.
"How are you doing?"
"It feels weak and a little dizzy." Answer Medina who sat leaning between the pillows arranged high.
"Mrs, dinner's ready." Said Bi Host as he entered Medina's room.
"We wait for Daniel first." Mama Safira.
"Where is Brother Daniel?" Ask Medina.
"Mom buy something." Mama answered with a smile.
"Owhhh....." Medina nodded slowly.
With the help of Bi Host, Medina was swept out of the room to the dining table. Mama Safira had forbidden her son-in-law and recommended eating in the room, but Medina refused him on the grounds of not tasteful if eating alone.
After dinner, Mama Safira and Syifa went home. While Daniel was confused by his mother's request, now he began to understand and instead he was very caring for Medina.
