Medina's First Love

Episode 101's

"Honey..are you ready?" Daniel asked as he entered the villa room.

He had just ordered breakfast before they returned to Indonesia.

"I'm ready, dear" replied Medina with a beautiful smile.

That morning Medina wore a brown-colored robe of flowers combined with a cream color hijab. Slight polish of thin powder and lipglos. It makes her look younger than her age.

"You look like an 18-year-old girl, Honey" praised Daniel pulling Medina's waist up until the bodies of the two stuck together.

"Aahhh. Thank you, dear" Medina chuckled and kissed Daniel on both cheeks.

"Don't tease me. Or we'll cancel our return. Geez.I don't think I want to take you home" Daniel said to Medina's laughter.

"Let's go. I'm so hungry" Medina pulled Daniel's hand before her husband made a mess.

"Hey...You deliberately avoided me?" Daniel followed Medina from behind then both of them laughed broadly as they stepped out of the room.

"Did you tell mom that we're home today?" Tanya Medina interrupted eating her breakfast.

"I told Danu last night because she was asleep. Maybe it's my sister who will tell my mom" replied Daniel.

After the two were finished, Daniel asked Villa officers to bring their belongings to a small amphibious aircraft that would take them to the airport located on another island. Where Daniel's private plane is ready to wait.

Mama Safira, who had been told by Danu that Medina and Daniel would return home, ordered all the servants at home to prepare Daniel's room and cook the food that his son and daughter-in-law liked.

Mama Safira looks very enthusiastic to welcome the two because her longing will pay off. Four days without seeing the child and his son-in-law was four months.

Even little Syifa was willing to skip school to welcome her papa and Niel's mama. The little girl had even prepared a little surprise in Daniel's room with the help of her mother.

Seeing the happiness on the face of her daughter and mother-in-law, Rani and Danu are also happy. They feel complete happiness as a family.

"Medina really brings change and happiness to our families" Rani said with teary eyes.

"You're right, honey. Thank you for all your understanding" Danu stared fixedly at his wife's face.

"Did you know? before Medina came into the midst of our family, I was almost desperate and blamed myself for not being able to do anything when the family was down. I felt useless until Medina came and I learned a lot from her. Whatever our mother and daughter did to Medina, I will never be jealous or envious. I just want to support them more and more, and enjoy every moment of our family's happiness" said Rani at length to make Danu smile full of amazement.

"Thank you, baby" Danu pulled his wife's slender body into his arms.

"I'm sorry if all this time I haven't been able to do my best for this family. But I promise, if there are bad people who want to disturb the happiness of our family, I will be at the front to fight it" Rani said solemnly.

Danu can't speak anymore. He was very happy, his wife was getting older and did not draw conclusions without thinking long.

"Thank you" Danu kissed Rani's forehead affectionately.

"I'm falling more and more in love with you, Mother Syifa" Tempta Danu made Rani laugh out loud.

"I love you too" Sahut Rani hugged her husband again.

Arif has been on standby at Soekarno-Hatta international airport to pick up his best friend and boss.

Because there are some important documents that require Daniel's signature.

"Honey..It's okay if we stop by the office for a while?" Daniel held Medina's hand out of the plane after 5 hours in the air.

"Yes dear" Medina stroked her husband's arm.

Both of them had come out of the airport door and looked for the figure of Arif who had informed Daniel if he was waiting.

"Sister.that's brother Arif" Medina pointed at Arif who was not far from where they stood.

Daniel and Medina approach Arif.

"Boss...how are you?" Ask Arif when they're facing off.

"Med...how are you? You seem to be getting fuller after the honeymoon" Arif told Medina and immediately got a sharp look from Daniel.

"You didn't pick us up to gossip, did you?" Daniel was upset.

"Boss....Some days we don't meet, it's only natural that I ask you guys, right?" Kill Arif withhold his laughter.

"Take and bring my things, lest anyone be left behind. Medina and I are going to the office first" Daniel said, leaving Arif looking gawking.

"Boss...what am I riding?" Shouting Arif.

"Whatever!" Daniel waved his hand without looking.

"Darling you can't be like that. Arif's sister is willing to wait for us and pick you up for work" Medina doesn't like her husband's attitude.

"He'll bother us. Anyway, I need to hurry to the office and go home. Mama and the others are waiting for us, Honey" Daniel starts the engine and goes straight to the gas.

Throughout the journey Medina was silent. She still felt upset with her husband's attitude and felt bad for Arif.

"Don't think about it.we're used to it" Daniel rubbed Medina's head.

Medina did not respond to Daniel. He remained silent a thousand languages.

"Sister does not know, it feels to be ruled and ignored at the same time. It seems like it's okay, but it hurts. Especially done by the people closest to us" Medina said slowly but still heard by Daniel.

Past trauma seems to remind Medina bitterly living life as a messenger boy. Almost every day he gets such treatment during his stay with his parents.

Hearing his wife's words, Daniel pulled over and stopped his car.

"I'm sorry" Daniel looked down at Medina.

Daniel realizes his attitude towards Arif is inappropriate, but they are used to it. But he doesn't know if his attitude will traumatize his wife back and open Medina's old wounds.

Medina looked up at her husband and smiled faintly.

"Don't do that again..." Medina said slowly.

Daniel nodded and drove back to the office.

Medina, who was waiting for her husband to finish his work, chose to wait at one of the office cafes located on the lower floor of the building accompanied by Karin, Daniel's secretary.

Medina still can't meet Arif for what her husband did. He felt that Arif, who incidentally was an educated man and came from a middle-class family and above, did not deserve the treatment as he had once received.

He who is only a graduate of Junior High and comes from a poor family, trying to accept all treatment because he feels self-conscious with all his shortcomings and limitations.

"How long has Karin been working here?" Tanya Medina opened the chat.

"I worked here only 3 years, mbak" replied Karin.

"Emmmhh...means that Karin knows my husband's attitude to Arif if it's outside the office?" Ask Medina full of questions.

"You mean Medina?" Karin who was confused asked back.

"I mean..Is outside of work my husband is always strict with you?" Medina looked at Karin with hope.

"Is my husband a dictatorial leader who's always been cold to his employees?"

Karin who was beginning to understand the direction of the talk of her boss' wife now smiled broadly.

"Mbak Medina need not worry, Mr. Daniel is a good leader and role model for employees although very firm. But he can put himself with the employees. And if outside our office like a friend in general"

Medina smiled with relief at Karin's words. She believes her husband would not be acting excessively to others if not with people who are very close to himself and his family.

"Mbak Karin..thank you" Medina said and replied to a nod by Karin.

Meanwhile in the workroom Daniel sighed heavily making Arif who stood next to him turn to Daniel.

"Hey.you just got home from your honeymoon. What's wrong with you?" Asked Arif while chuckling.

Daniel finished his work and leaned his head against his chair.

"Because of my attitude, I made him sad" Daniel closed his eyes.

Arif who was cleaning the file on the table stopped his activities.

"What are you doing?" Tanya Arif curious.

"You must come with me down!!" Daniel pulled Arif's shoulder.

"Boss..." Pekik Arif was shocked because he was not ready to be pulled by Daniel.

Arriving at the cafe, Daniel went straight to the medina table with Arif trailing behind him.

Along their way to the cafe, Daniel tells about the incident that made Medina moody.

"Honey..." Call Daniel.

Medina and Karin turned towards the voice and smiled. He glanced at Arif and looked back at Daniel.

"Med....Daniel told me about the time at the airport. For me it's normal with both of us. I also often mocked him. Ever since we were like that. Don't be too taken in and blame your husband" Arif looked at Daniel who was also staring at him.

"Honey.I'm sorry" Daniel raised his wife's chin that had lowered. The two beads sat.

"Maybe it's true that my husband said, I'm not used to your sense of humor yet. I just felt, the days in my past seemed to return" Medina looked down again with clear details that started flowing.

Seeing that his wife was very sad, Daniel hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry....." Daniel after kissing Medina.

Arif just looked at the couple with a smile. While Karin who had previously chatted with Medina now knew that the conversation between herself and Medina was related to what happened at the airport.

"She even cares deeply about her husband's attitude towards many people" Karin murmured inwardly.

"Oh my goodness.this is the fate of singles. You guys don't feel sorry for me and Karin?" Chirps Arif because the two hugged too long.

"Me?" Karin looked at Arif confused. Why is his name taken2.

"Hey.I'm not single like you. I have a lover" Ketus Karin told Arif who was standing next to her.

Daniel and Medina turned their heads and looked at Arif and Karin then both chuckled loudly.

"Hurry up and find your soul mate and get married. Or you can get into a relationship and get married" Ledek Daniel was accompanied by his third laugh.

Daniel who had finished his work immediately said goodbye to Arif and Karin came home because mama Safira and the others were waiting impatiently.

Seen from several incoming calls from Mama Safira as long as they are on the road.

Missing the people we care about sometimes makes us anxious and worried excessively. But that is how humans express genuine love and longing from the deepest of hearts.
