The Late Last Second

Juno's been on the phone many times. Eventually he gave up and left his grandmother with Keira. He immediately headed to the hospital where Amora was being treated. Along the way he felt his heart heavy thinking about his grandmother, but somehow his mother-in-law seemed to always want to hold him with Amora. Juno felt a little annoyed, but tried to hold on.

He stepped in a slightly hurried step as his phone kept ringing, his mother-in-law calling him like a fidelity.

Arriving at the nursery door Amora Juno went straight in without a greeting or knock. Everyone seemed shocked by Juno's silent arrival. Dona looked annoyed with Juno's attitude as if wanting to show her angry attitude, seen from Juno's flat expression. Juno immediately approached the sleeping Amora and looked at her mother-in-law.

On the other hand Keira looked panicked because Juno's grandmother who looked not okay now. He tried to contact Juno many times but could not connect. Finally she decided to take Grandma to the hospital alone with Darsih and her husband.

Upon arrival their hospital was greeted with the sisters who were on guard to take grandmother to the ER treatment room, after passing some initial treatment stages but the grandmother was still unconscious, until finally Juno's grandmother was moved to the ICU room for more serious treatment.

Grandma briefly regained consciousness and she called Juno's name. Keira panicked even more, because grandma didn't look like she was going to be okay. He kept trying to contact Juno, but remained disconnected.

'Where are you, Jun?' batin Keira worried while occasionally glancing at the nursing home of the grandmother who was handled by several nurses and doctors.

"Call Juno now?" the doctor orders Keira before she re-enters the grandmother's care room with hasty steps. Keira knew now, grandma was really in a critical state, but she still could not contact Juno.

Keira looked at Juno's grandmother who was still in the doctor's care without being able to do anything.

"Sorry, Jun," said Keira. She knew Juno's grandmother might not survive, this was the last day Juno would pass without her saying goodbye.

"How about this, bik. Juno where are you? Where are you, Jun!" screeched Keira in front of the dead body of the grandmother who had been stiffened.

On the other hand, Juno was still dissolved in her dreamland in Amora's nursery. She seemed to meet a grandmother in a realm that was out of the question. A beautiful graceful woman looked at him warmly and approached him.

"Oh, it's okay. Here grandma's okay, you're fine, yeah. Grandma drop it all for you. You should be fine after grandma leaves, son," said the calm grandmother with a warm smile. Juno looked at her grandmother with a strange look, she really looked beautiful at the moment. But, granny slowly took off Juno's hand without releasing a smile from her lips.

"Grandma, where are you going? Grandma, no. Grandma, GRANDMA." Juno cried in panic as she looked at the grandmother who kept away from her. Juno kept screaming for his grandmother without being able to chase because his stiff body could not make him rise up after him.

"Jun, what's wrong with you, baby?" amora asked confusedly.

Juno did not reply, she directly checked her phone. For a moment he panicked when he saw his phone that turned out not to be on.

"Why is my phone dead?" ask Juno astonished.

"That's ... That ... Last night I turned it off," said Dona flat. Juno scrunched his forehead staring at Dona in wonder at Dona's drafts on her personal belongings.

"Mama!" amora is upset.

"What?" ask Dona confused. "That's so your husband can focus on your situation, not be busy taking care of this," said Dona again gave an excuse.

Juno saw there were many missed calls from Keira. He immediately contacted Keira again. Juno's face instantly turned pale as Keira frantically relayed unexpected news to him. Juno without saying anything else immediately ran out towards her grandmother's place.

Arriving there, already crowded with people who take care of his grandmother. Juno stepped frantically into the room. There was Keira and a few people who were facing Grandma Juno's corpse with sorrowful gazes. Several doctors approached Juno and hugged her to give her strength.

Juno looked panicked and frightened. The thing he had been afraid of happened, and worse, he wasn't there when it happened.

Juno was sitting limp in front of her grandmother's bed.
