12. Next Life

"Anna!" Meihan tried first aid. His lungs were blocked by water. He can't even breathe anymore.

Meihan sat in the corner of his room while closing his two ears. He made the biggest mistake of his life. Everything was so messed up, his father would definitely kill him, all this concerned the company. Finish all their plans.

"Anna!" He shook Anna's body again. But not getting any response made it very frustrating. He ended up screaming hysterically, it was possible that Anna could hear him and wake up.

Meihan's mother turned around and looked at Meihan who was slightly wet "What happened?" ask her with worried face.

Meihan's father without warning directly slapped Meihan. "You're your killer!" his yell.

"Dear, listen to the explanation first. You've been mad at Meihan all day, "persuade Meihan's mother to calm him down.

"A useless child deserves to die! What are you doing?!" his screams were still in a thunderous tone.

Meihan's father went black, his eyes blackened. His breath hunts like a lion. He turned to look around, looking for a blunt object to punish his son.

"We need to get to Anna's hospital!" rafah's new scream came with a breath of agitation.

"I'm fine, I swear," he replied, raising his two index fingers and smiling stiffly.

Meihan was unable to say anything, he was confused as to what to behave like.

"Why are you out of breath?" Meihan's mother asked still with a worried expression.

"Wh that was you, Meihan, he was too excited." Anna said confusedly and spoke erratically.

"What do you mean?" Meihan's mother asked more confusedly.

Everyone there was confused as well, they looked at Anna in astonishment, waiting for an answer.

"I...." He stared intently at Meihan, hoping to get some help.

'What are you doing? Help me.'

Meihan was silent, still unable to believe that the girl in front of him was Anna.

"But how can you breathe again?"

"Oh. That was Rafah, when he took me I just realized, the water that clogged my respiratory tract suddenly came out just like that...."

"Aaakkuu.." Anna's throat seemed to be blocked again.

"I sincerely apologize, I'm sorry" he whispered back and added to his embrace.

Anna hugged him back, she smiled full of comfort.

"What's this?" ask Anna's stepmother who just woke up.

Meihan took off his embrace. He bowed while apologizing. "I'm sorry, Anna was almost in trouble because of my carelessness."

"What problem?" tanyanya while frowning.

"I kissed Anna to the point that she was out of breath" Meihan said steadily.

"What's? Kiss? What did this man say?" Anna muttered inwardly and held him firmly to hold him accountable.

"Oh, hahahaha...." Anna's stepmother laughed crisply while still showing a confused expression.

"Why didn't you explain that, son? Dad's been dark-eyed against you." Meihan's mother approached her husband who was just silent, she stroked his chest quietly, calming him down.

"I'm sorry Dad.." said Meihan.

Rafah looked suspiciously at Meihan as well as Anna. He doesn't accept everything that happens.

"Anna are you sure because of that?" tanyanya.

"Oh yeah...." Anna immediately replied to him with a stiff smile and then she looked back at Meihan.

"You crazy?! Is there no other reason?" the whisper was slow to be heard only by Meihan.

"That's all that comes to my mind" Meihan replied coldly.

"Basic pervert.." hardik Anna who felt played.

"It's night now anyway. Can I resume my precious sleep?" Kesya mediates the conversation, she pretends to yawn so that everyone's attention does not stay on Anna.

"After night, we should go back to sleep" Meihan's father said in a quieter voice.

Secretly from the room of the servant Kenda closed the door again after witnessing everything. His lips looked hurt. Her calf and arms were also turning blue. "I know something's wrong, Meihan, I know you more than anyone. You never took the initiative to hug me like you just did Anna. That hug isn't just an excuse for your dad to stop beating and blaming you. The hug was even warmer. Meihan's mother and father returned to her room followed by Rafah's mother. Kesya also left the place but because seeing Rafah still standing there and looking at Anna fixedly made him undo his intentions.

"It's our business." Reply Meihan indifferently.

"I didn't tell you to answer, Anna, don't be afraid to tell me. He hurt you, didn't he?" ask Rafah back.

"Here you go, this is none of your business Rafah" Kesnya said, embracing him and taking him away from there.

Anna silently bowed but then she raised her head like there was a sudden fury appearing out of nowhere.

"Is that kiss a threat? Should I avoid that when I want to?" he said with a little emotional stopping Rafah's steps.

"Anna! I know you.. Did he threaten you?" rafah asked stutteringly hearing Anna's statement just now.

"You like me? Is that jealousy?" asked Anna to attack him back.

"Anna, you...."

"There are limits you can't cross, stop Rafah, you have to be aware. I don't want you to go any further" said Anna steadily.

Rafah was stunned, he stared confusedly at Anna. It was like being seen before admitting it.

"What did you say? How could Rafah like you? You guys are a long way off?" yelled Kesya felt ignored.

"Yes, you have eyes, right? Is age only calculated based on the word written on the birth certificate? Oh yes, my date of birth was also changed on the sheet called the birth certificate. "Anna! I promised Dad I'd protect you" Rafah said.

"Forgot what I said, I was just kidding" he said, then walked out of the room.
