Marrying a Cold Lecturer

Flashback: Welcome to Ruby.

Roni and Mona run towards Anna's room, while opening the door of her room, Roni and Mona are stunned to see Anna's frail body lying unconscious with legs and hands tied to the edge of the hospital bed.

"What's up, Doc? Why is he tied up?" ask Roni.

"Sorry, Sir! We were forced to bind the patient because the patient was raging again and trying to escape, we were afraid something happened with the womb." replied the female doctor named Vira.

"Yes, God! It's been a week since he's been like this, is there nothing that can be done to cure him?" Roni looked at the Doctor expectantly.

"We've examined his mental health and done some tests with psychologists, patients suffering from major depression. We will give the drug to the patient and will try the treatment with Psychotherapy, if there are no new changes we continue with Electrocovulsive Therapy, hopefully this way successfully eliminates the patient's depression." said Doctor Vira while staring at the pale face of Anna who was sleeping because of the influence of tranquilizers.

Roni took a deep breath, then let her slow down, "Just do your best, whatever it is!"

"But we will do surgery to take the baby in the womb first, then the treatment we can do with the maximum. Because the patient's unstable condition can harm the baby, especially the administration of sedatives can affect fetal development. Her age is enough too." Doctor Vira continued his explanation with a worried look on his face.

"Yes, please, Doc!" Roni just resigned.

"Well we need the signature of the patient's guardian for the operation, maybe his brother is there?" Doctor Vira thrust out a piece of paper.

Roni and Mona look at each other, they are confused to find Anna's brother where, while the one who came to the cemetery has returned to the village.

"I'm the patient's brother, I'll be his guardian!" The young woman stepped into Anna's room and immediately took the paper the Doctor held and signed it.

"I'm Alisa, just call me Lisa! I'm the only one of Anna's family that still exists. Sorry I just got to come last night." The woman named Lisa extended her hand before Roni and Mona.

"I'm Roni, and this is my wife Mona! Thank goodness you're here." Roni shook Lisa's hand.

Mona smiled and shook Lisa's hand.

"Oh, is this Mr. Roni and Mrs Mona? Nice to get acquainted with both of you, Anna told me so many stories about her husband's kind employer." Lisa smiled looking at Roni and Mona alternately.

Hearing Lisa's words, Roni and Mona blushed in embarrassment. A familiar atmosphere was instantly created between them.

Roni, Mona and Lisa who were in the waiting room gasped when they heard the cry of a baby that was so shrill.

Fluffy laughter adorned their lips as a nurse came out carrying the little angel wrapped in white cloth, even the cries of Mona and Lisa could not be dammed anymore.

"The baby is a girl, sir! I'll take it to the baby's room first to clean." The nurse took the little baby.

Mona and Lisa follow the nurse quickly, but Roni chooses to stay in the waiting room to wait for Anna's news.

In the baby room, Mona and Lisa take turns holding the cute baby that has been cleaned. For 7 years Mona has never held a baby again, while Lisa, who has never been married, last held Rekha who was a baby.

Anna's treatment room has been visited by Sandra and Adam, there are Roni and Mona as well and not to forget Lisa who always faithfully accompanied Anna.

They deliberately did not invite Zea, Rey especially Rekha because they did not want the boy to see the condition of his mother who is concerned.

It has been 4 days since Ruby was born into the world, Anna just kept silent without saying a word, even she refused to breastfeed her daughter.

Sometimes she would sob, then smile at the ceiling of her treatment room.

Roni and Lisa are increasingly worried about Anna's condition, it turns out Martin's death makes Anna really hit and lost her mind. Roni felt more guilty seeing Anna's situation.

Finally, with great force, Anna's legs and hands were tied so that she would not do anything terrible again. Lisa was always faithful to accompany her sister every time, she never left Anna.

While Ruby is already living in Roni's house, Mona takes care of her happily, as Mona desperately wants a daughter, even Mona plans to adopt Ruby if only Anna can't be cured.

Rekha looks very happy because her sister has been born, she seems to have a new friend. Rekha took good care of her sister, just like her father once said.

But the little boy often felt sad if he remembered his Father and Mother, often he asked where the Mother was. But Mona and Roni gave reasons that the Mother was at work.
