Marrying a Cold Lecturer

Adam's Plan

After Zea passed, Adam and Sandra chuckled in amusement to remember the play they had just played.

"Your acting is really good, honey."

"Sstt .. Slowly speaking, Zea will hear, can fail our plan." Adam whispered while putting his index finger in front of his mouth.

"Yes .. yes ...." Sandra was still trying to hold back her laughter.

"I've told Roni everything, they're very happy that Zea wants to go to college there. Roni and Mona must love him too." said Adam.

"May this be best for Zea." said Sandra.

Adam put his hands behind his head and looked at the ceiling of his room, a little bit of guilt in the man's heart for lying to the princess.

"Ma, is Zea angry if you know we've lied to her?" Adam turned his head and looked anxiously at his wife.

"Come, Pa! But I don't think so! Zea is a good boy. One day he'll understand what we're doing for his own good."

"Yes, I hope he understands. I just want the best for him."

"Oh yeah, don't think about it too much! Papa's gonna have a heart attack." Sandra.

This morning was so bright, the sunlight began to enter through the cracks of the bedroom windows. Light up the peaceful face of Zea who was still asleep.

"Ze, wake!" Sandra shook the body of her daughter who was still sleeping like a baby.

Zea squirms and twitches, trying to focus her still blurred vision, until her cornea can clearly capture the beautiful figure of the mother.

"Still sleepy, Ma." Zea closed her eyes.

"Let's wake up! Keep preparing. Today you go to Om Roni's house, so you can go to college as soon as possible."

"What ...? Today ...? Why is it so rushed, Ma?" Zea spontaneously woke up and raised her protest.

"Faster, better. Take a shower there! Let Mama help you sort out the necessary items, the rest will follow." Sandra stepped towards Zea's wardrobe.

Zea was stunned in disbelief, she had not even prepared anything, but the mother had told her to leave this house.

"Did Mom and Dad love me no more. Why do I feel like a kitten to be thrown away?" inner Zea sad.

Actually the reason Adam and Sandra accelerated Zea's move was so that the girl would not have time to change her mind.

Zea was glued in front of her house and looked at the tosca-painted building, although this was not the first time she had separated from her parents, but still her heart was sad.

"Come, sweetie." Sandra asked Zea to get in the car, with a heavy heart the beautiful girl said.

On the way Zea just looked out the window, wanting to cry but she was embarrassed. His heart refused, but he refused.

"Come on Zea, everything's good, it's not so bad. Even though I went to college and became a lawyer, I can still be a swimming athlete." Zea said in his heart. A small smile rose on his lips.

Arriving at Roni's house, they were warmly welcomed by the owner of the house.

Mona and Roni really want a daughter, because they only have a son who is very busy with his routine. He barely had time to chat with his parents.

"Welcome, Ze. Don't hesitate, just think of it as your own home." said Roni. Zea just nodded with a smile.

"I picked up Zea huh, Ron ...? If he does anything, just get angry like you scolded your son." said Adam.

"Haahaha .. Trust me." Roni replied.

After chatting with Roni and giving advice to Zea, Adam and Sandra say goodbye. It felt like Zea wanted to cry and chase after her Papa's car, but that was impossible, she was not a child anymore.

"Let's take Aunt to your room." Mona pulled Zea's hand slowly which followed her walk.

"Rest, if you need anything say yes, dear."

"Yes Aunt, thank you." reply Zea.

After Mona passed, Zea sat herself on the bed and spread her gaze across the room, as if there was nothing lacking because there was no poster of her idol.

"I miss my room." said Zea sadly.

The time showed at 01:00 in the morning, the sound of a car was heard stopping in front of the house.

Someone got out of the car and walked weakly into the house, his face looks very tired.

"Why did you come home so late at night, Rey ...?" Roni emerges from her study as Rey crosses the room.

"Lots of work." Rey replied briefly as it passed.

"Wait on! From today Adam's daughter will be staying here and studying at our college." Roni's voice makes Rey step by step for a moment.

But a few seconds later, Rey resumed his steps without intending to reply to the papa's words.

Roni just clucked in annoyance as her head gurgled at the cold demeanor of her son.

In the room Rey immediately went into the bathroom, maybe with a bath can refresh his body a little and eliminate the fatigue he was feeling.

After that without wasting any time, he laid his body on his soft bed.

For a moment he remembered the figure of the woman who had stolen his heart since many years ago.

"He's back and he's gonna stay here.

That means I'll see it every day" Rey said with a fluffy smile.

Rey closed her eyes and in an instant she was already asleep in her bed at night.

It turned out that his body was so tired, that he fell asleep so fast.

Rey was so busy with her work as a lecturer and taking care of her restaurant, that she did not have time to gather with family.

He just spends his days with all the routines that drain his energy and mind.

Actually busyness is not the only reason Rey is rarely at home, but the feeling of disappointment and anger is the main reason, to make him divert all that to work.
