CHAPTER 9. The Great Lord's Request

After the meeting Rafiq immediately headed to his study room looking for Nadia.

Rafiq looks relieved when he sees Nadia sleeping on a long black sofa.

Rafiq approached intending to wake her up and take her home.

But the innocent face of Nadia who fell asleep made her undo the intention.

Rafiq then opened his suit and wrapped around Nadia's tiny body and sat in his work chair to do some more work while waiting for Nadia to wake up from her sleep.

At three o'clock in the afternoon, Nadia woke up from her sleep.

Nadia immediately sat down when she realized she was falling asleep.

"Sorry Mr. Cik.. Diah overslept.." Said Nadia walking slowly towards Rafiq by lowering her head for fear of being angered by the Young Master.

"Grandfather.. Let's go home" Rafiq said briefly as he closed the lapotop screen on his desk.

Nadia then walked along with rafiq while holding the suit that was used by Rafiq to cover it.

All the employees looked towards Nadia and Rafiq who were walking towards the elevator.

Some of them looked cynical and envious at Nadia who was holding Rafiq Jas.

"Basic of a child.. Plain sok. " said Meri burning jealous.

Arriving home, Nadia immediately looked for Datuk Iskandar in her room.

"Assalamualaikum Grandpa.. Diah was balek." said Nadia while knocking on the door of Datuk Iskandar's room.

"Vaalaikumsalam.. Come inside.." Datuk Iskandar replied from inside the room.

"He sick? How's her face so pale?" nadia said when she saw Datuk Iskandar who was lying limp on his bed.

"No.. Grandfather was just too tired." he replied again briefly.

"Does he make you some warm tea, will you?" ask Nadia again.

Datuk Iskandar nodded slowly.

Nadia immediately went to the kitchen to make warm tea for Datuk Iskandar.

"What are you doing?" asked Old Mak who had just come out of his room towards the kitchen.

"Become a warm tea for Datuk. He is not healthy anymore, Mak.. His body looks limp and pale" Nadia again explained to Old Mak.

"If so, you should give warm honey only.. Not bad for warm tea.." Said Old Mak while giving a bottle of real honey to Nadia.

"Is he happy to live here?" ask Datuk Iskandar while sipping his warm honey.

"Alhamdulillah.. Diah is so happy, Tuk.. Everyone in this house loves Nadia.. Especially Grandpa... Thank you Tuk.." replied Nadia sincerely to Datuk Iskandsr.

Datuk Iskandar replied to her with his sweetest smile.

"How's rafiq?" ask again.

"Sir is good too.. Even though he's quiet.. But he's kind and attentive enough.. Evidently when Diah fell asleep in his office this afternoon, he did not wake Diah and instead enveloped Diah with his work coat. And take home after Diah woke up from sleep" Nadia told Datuk Iskandar again.

"Rafiq is actually a pretty humorous and quiet boy.. He was very kind and attentive to everyone.. But the burden of life forces him to be a cold and hardworking man so forget to smile let alone happy. Rafiq has been devastated since his late mother died. And the worse after her marriage with Zizi did not run harmoniously and continued in uncertainty. He then busied himself with work and continued to work until now. He is my poor Rafiq. Grandfather feels very guilty about himself now..!!" tangis Datuk tells about her son Mr. Rafiq to Nadia.

"Cough doesn't have to feel guilty.. Everything has become destiny.. Young Master is a great man.. God willing, whatever happens in his life now can certainly be faced." replied Nadia to calm Datuk Iskandar.

"Diah.. Promise with Grandpa.. Please take care of Rafiq for Datuk.. Be the woman who accompanies Rafiq in his joys and sorrows.. The woman who was able to stand straight gave strength to Rafiq.. Can you?" ask Datuk Iskadar again on Nadia.

"Isnyaallah Tuk" replied Nadia innocently without understanding the meaning of her true grandfather.

Datuk Iskandar smiled with relief.

"Judek.. Grandpa rest... I want to take a shower in the afternoon.. Medication to drink?" said Nadia again before leaving the Great Lord.

The Great Lord only answered Nadia's question with a slow nod.

Nadia then pas-patas an with Rafiq when about to enter his room which is opposite to Rafiq's room.

"What how?" ask Nadia.

"With rest." replied Nadia briefly.

Rafiq then simply nodded and walked away leaving Nadia towards her fitness room to exercise.

"Sir Uncle.. Thank you for bringing Diah to campus earlier." said Nadia again nervously.

"its Ok" replied Rafiq briefly and left Nadia.

"Huuhh.." said Nadia upset and went into her room to take an afternoon bath.
