CHAPTER 39. Restaurants

Nadia sat pensively on the long sofa facing the television.

He really doesn't know what to do.

Zizi's rant continues to ring in his memory.

Nadia was shocked and realized from daydreaming when the door of her apartment opened.

Mr. Rafiq went into the apartment.

Walk slowly towards the sofa then kiss his wife Nadia soft forehead.

"Honey.. What again?" ask her to open up.

Nadia just shook her head slowly and showed a line of smiles to her husband.

"We're dinner outside yuk. "take Mr. Rafiq again to Nadia.

Nadia silently did not answer.

"Come on.. Let you be fresh after all, we haven't had dinner outside in a long time.. Ba'da magrib we're leaving huh..!!" invite Mr. Rafiq again to persuade the wife.

Nadia finally nodded slowly.

After the congregational magrib prayer, Mr. Rafiq took his wife to the parking lot to go to dinner at a favorite restaurant Mr. Rafiq.

"Darling... What do you want to eat?" ask Mr. Rafiq when they get to the restaurant.

Nadia then chose a steak menu to eat.

I honestly don't feel hungry at all.

His mind is still fucked.

And it was a bit strange to see Mr. Rafiq's attitude so relaxed as if there were no problems at all.

Mr. Rafiq chose the right restaurant to enjoy dinner among the turmoil of Nadia's heart.

A restaurant that stands right by the river.

The breeze gently caressed Nadia's body.

The roar of the vehicle sounded equally vague across the sturdy standing bridge not far from the restaurant.

A waiter then came to serve the food they ordered very politely.

"Thank you" Mr. Rafiq told him.

He simply replied to Mr. Rafiq with a sweet smile.

Mr. Rafiq and Nadia started their dinner without a sound until it was over.

Slowly Mr. Rafiq sips espresso coffee that is still quite warm in his glass.

"Honey.. You still mad??" ask Nadia.

"Come by.." replied Nadia briefly.

"Darling... Brother has apologized.. Can't we just forget what happened yesterday?? we open a new leaf." said Mr. Rafiq again.

"What kind of new sheet By..?? This problem is not finished... Did you meet Zizi? Have you made your decision?" nadia asked Rafiq.

"Abang met Zizi this morning at home. He cried apologizing and begged not to be divorced. He billed the promise of a brother who would never abandon him." said Mr. Rafiq slowly.

"Then Diah will give up. Our marriage was a serial marriage. It's not hard for you to let Diah go. Just drop the talaq, then our relationship is done.." Nadia said with tears that began to fade.

"No dear... Brother will never let you go..!!! Brother Love with Nadia... You never imagined how you would be without a baby..!!" answer Mr. Rafiq again.

"Then? Don't tell me you mean to have both of us?? huh??!" ask Nadia who began to understand the direction of the explanation of Mr. Rafiq.

Mr. Rafiq was silent.

"Not wrong, is it??" answer him later.

Nadia was shocked and shook her head strongly.

"Abang cannot divorce Zizi because it is bound by promise.. While you can't let go because you love you. Dear... Please try to understand the position of Brother.." he said again persuaded Nadia.

Nadia just cried sobbing without answering a single bit.

She knew full well, Zizi could not possibly accept her as the second wife of Mr. Rafiq.

The words of Mr. Rafiq increasingly make him feel unwarranted.
