CHAPTER 59. Meet Lisa

"Mac Ipah... Today Diah wants permission to go to town for a while.. Diah wants to take care of college leave and buy a new phone card to contact Mak in the village" said Nadia asked permission from Mak Ipah.

She left after breakfast.

Arriving in the city, Nadia immediately headed for her best friend Lisa's boarding house.

"Almost every day your husband calls me asking about you.. Your mother also called me several times crying asking for your news.. You where? Why should I run away? if there are more problems should be solved.not even run away from the problem!" lisa said.

"This is all I can do Lis.. I loved her.. That's why Akh has to go.. I don't deserve her at all, Lis. " said Nadia started crying.

Nadia then tells about her meeting with Zizi who finally opened her eyes to realize who she was and who Rafiq was.

"We are like Heaven and Earth... As Upik Abu and the King.. It will never be appropriate for me to stand with him. I don't want Him to be destroyed because of me.. I want Him to be happy with his wife who deserves to be with him" Nadia said with grief.

Lisa hugged him giving him strength.

"But when do you want to run??" ask Lisa again.

"Until I meet her again and tell her to divorce me." said Nadia again while wiping her tears.

"What are you going to do now? Where do you live now?" ask Lisa again.

"I'd like to take care of my year off from college.. After all my troubles are over and my son is born, God willing I will go back to college. For a while I lived with Mak Ipah, Mak's cousin. And maybe I will be there until my son is born Lis" Nadia said again explaining about his arrival.

Nadia shakes.

"He doesn't need to know Lis.. Let this child be my only responsibility" said Nadia again then stroked her stomach which began to stand out a little.

"But Mr. Rafiq is Di's father.. He must know.. It's not good to hide her Di.." Lisa again reminded.

"Sometimes I'll tell Lis.. But not for now" replied Nadia adamantly.

"Well, if that's your decision... I can only support you.. Then wait a minute.. I accompany you to the campus." Lisa said anyway, then moved to get ready.

Nadia nodded.

His thoughts were far away.

Lisa's words have a point, you should not run away from the problems she is facing.

But this is all Nadia can do for the time being. Escape from her husband Rafiq.

Nadia knows how much Rafiq really loves her.

But Zizi's remarks a week ago made Nadia have to take a stand in determining the continuation of her marriage with Mr. Rafiq.

Zizi makes Nadia realize that she does not deserve to be Rafiq's wife.

Nadia escapes in the hope that Mr. Rafiq can return with Zizi his rightful wife who is indeed worthy of Mr. Rafiq and leave her who is only a village woman who was married in series.
