Marry me, Mr. Mafia

Marry me, Mr. Mafia
Episode 63

The night felt very cold, causing Aila to be disturbed, she opened her eyes again while pulling the thick blanket.

"Aila, are you cold."

It was Adrian, he went into the room and started to turn on the warmers. Then, he sat down on the edge of the bed where Aila lay.

"You feel better?" He wanted to touch Aila's face, but was quickly pushed aside by her.

"You should have known I didn't come into contact with a man who wasn't kosher to me, Adrian." He said with a tone of judes and also cold. Because Adrian has too often hugged and touched it suddenly and it makes it uncomfortable.

Adrian is disappointed to find Aila's cold attitude towards him. But, he did not give up on staying kind and considerate of his heart. He also tried to understand what Aila disliked and what she liked.

"I'm sorry, Aila. But I think I should tell you this."

Aila was silent and had no interest in responding to Adrian at all.

"Tiger doesn't really love you. He only took you hostage to avenge him on the Lion King who killed his parents and brother."

There was still no response from Aila. That was because Aila knew, Tiger had indeed only made her a prisoner. But, why Tiger used it to take revenge on the Lion king was what he meant Aila did not understand, but he was lazy to open his mouth to ask.

"You know, the Lion King is a mafia group that twenty years ago lost their baby and their baby was stolen by Tiger King, the father of the man."

The sentence just made Aila respond, she immediately sat down from her lying position. "What do you mean the Lion killed Tiger's parents?"

For a moment Adrian was silent, he was surprised Aila immediately responded with a question that Aila already knew about this story.

"You know both Tiger's parents were killed by-"

"Yes I know Tiger's parents were killed by another mobster, Adrian. But, I don't understand at all why and why Tiger used me for his revenge mission?"

One corner of Adrian's lips lifted. Finally he managed to make Aila really will forget about Tiger after hearing the end of this story.

"Why are you quiet, Adrian. Don't you know the reason-" either"

"You are the Lion king's daughter who went missing twenty years ago, Aila."

The statement left Aila shocked. "What do you mean, Adrian?"

For a moment Adrian sighed, then he fixed his sitting position to be able to face directly with Aila.

"Aila, you're actually the Lion King baby that went missing twenty years ago."

"How do you say it's Adrian, we've been together since birth. You know who I am and who my parents are Adrian."

"I was also initially confused and in disbelief as papa told this absurd story, Aila. But-" Adrian pulls out his phone and opens a video file that Baron showed at the time while trying to convince him of the truth about who Aila really is.

Doubtfully Aila stared fixedly at the screen of the cellphone that played the recording when seconds of him were exchanged with the baby who should be the child of both parents who he thought was his biological family.

"Adrian-" Aila looked puzzled. She still could not accept the fact that she was the daughter of the man who had killed the family of the man she loved. "No Adrian, this is impossible." Aila sobs.

"I'm sorry Aila. But this is the truth. You are the daughter of the man who killed the Tiger family. And you have to realize that, Tiger will kill both of your parents as well even if you're no longer a hostage."

"Enough Adrian. I don't want to hear anything-"

Aila lay back down. He hid his body under the blanket. She was crying so much.

Adrian can only see and accompany Aila until she stops crying.

At 23:30 it was almost midnight.

Adrian had already come out of Aila's room, once Aila's cry was no longer heard. Now he's in his papa's study to meet the Baron.

"Where's papa, Baron?"

"Mr Arnold is at the secret headquarters, young master."

"What are you doing there?"

"Mmm, looks like Mr. Arnold managed to hold Tiger back."

"really?" Search Adrian.

"Yes, young master."

Adrian seemed to think of something. "Can you tell papa a message from me?"

"Sure, young master."

"Then go see papa. Tell him I want Tiger confirmed dead tomorrow and make it look like the Lion killed him."

"What?"

Baron asked not because he did not hear what Adrian said, but rather he was shocked and a little indifferent to the rapid change of his young master. From a kind-hearted young man, meek and courteous, turned into a ruthless man who wanted the death of his enemy.

"You want me to repeat my words?"

"No, young master. I'll pass the young master's message to Mr. Arnold immediately."

"Good."

"I'm sorry, young master." The baron saluted before leaving the room.

Adrian's eyes stared intently at Baron's departure until the man's back completely disappeared from his sight.

"If you can't love me, then there isn't a single man you can love Aila. Forever you are mine. I'm gonna get rid of everything, everything that's getting in our way, baby." Adrian muttered with a fiery gaze and both hands clenched tightly.

Adrian who is sweet and kind hearted really has turned into a person who is ferocious and cold.

"Tomorrow you'll only see the man's corpse, Aila. You might cry and be sad to accept that." Adrian smiled cynically.

"But don't be afraid Aila. I will always be there to accompany you. I will patiently wait until your tears of sorrow dry up. I'll wait until the time comes for you to repay my love and I'm the only man you love for the rest of your life, my dear Aila."

The two corners of his lips perfectly raised formed a slightly sinister smile to look at. "Hah haahha, haahahaa--" His echoing laughter filled every corner of the room.

"I can't wait for tomorrow. The sun, shine quickly."

Adrian laughed again. If only Aila saw this scene, Aila would definitely run as far as possible so as not to be caught by Adrian who had incarnated as a very cruel demon.

Adrian laughed for a long time, even from the end of his eyes to let out water. And now that the laughter had subsided, he had returned to his early days, becoming a gentle and attentive Adrian.

"I have to go back to see Aila. Who knew he woke up from having nightmares." He muttered as he walked leisurely with one hand sitting in one trouser while the other hand was left waving waving to follow the beat of his footsteps.
