Chapter 14: Minhyun's Point of View

I went back to my apartment, still worried about Ana, I walked into my room, actually I didn't want to leave her alone. But if I didn't go to college, someone would have reported it to my father.

I walked to the bathroom with a towel, my hair still disheveled clearly visible in the mirror of my bathroom. First class starts at 8 a.m. Ana and I should be in class today.

After the bath, I prepared the toast with Chocolate jam, not to forget also I made it for Ana and her friend, Yuri.

I chose a black t-shirt and jeans to wear to college later, I devoured my toast. Although it tastes a little bit bitter because there is a part of the sandbar at the end of the bread.

After the preparations to my college were done, I immediately went down and brought the food I had made before to Ana. I stopped by to check, whether Yuri has come or not.

I walked out of the apartment, then into the elevator. It didn't take long. Because the distance of our apartment is only one floor different. As soon as the elevator door opened I could see the door. I pressed the bell, and soon someone opened the door.

"What's wrong?" Ask the woman I just met the first time, her hair bangs with a sweater impressed tomboy. I think it was Yuri.

"I made you something" I gave it to that woman.

"Please take care of Ana while I'm gone, I'll take care of her back after college." I grinned a little awkwardly.

"You don't have to worry, I will definitely take care of it and thank you for the food!" Yuri said as she waved her hand, I nodded then went back inside the elevator. I saw the woman close the door.

Then, I walked to the bus stop in front of the building to wait for the bus there. Not long after the bus came and I got in.

...A FAMILY MEETING YESTERDAY...

I saw Ana and Dongmin leave that morning, after taking out the trash I prepared to go to my father's house to see him. Arriving at home, I sat in a chair to wait for my father to come, before long I saw the figure of a man at his age of 40 years running gallantly towards me, yes it was my father. He immediately invited me to play Golf with Uncle Kim and my cousin, Bumi. I also agree to his invitation..

That day, I met Bumi and her father. I awkwardly greeted them. I am not very familiar with Earth. So, it does not taste good if it lingers with them.

"Where's Dongmin? I haven't seen him in a long time?" Ask Uncle Kim to my dad.

"That kid, he hasn't been home for 2 weeks, Minhyun how's your brother?" Dad looked at me waiting for an answer, I was confused not knowing what to answer.

"I've met him on the campus a lot" I had to lie.

I know for a fact, that Dongmin is on college leave. And I think my cousin Earth knows my lies. Fortunately he did not comment, he just grinned at me.

"What about you? Your lecture?" The earth takes the available sun seed snacks on our table.

"Everything went well" I replied briefly, I was not good at pleasantries so I was confused as to what to ask him.

That afternoon, we played golf until about 3 pm. I noticed the man wearing a white hat and a matching polo shirt. All this time, I only saw him once in a while. The rest of us never talk much. But for today I talked to him quite a lot.

"I guess, after this I'll drop by the office first." The Earth put all its golf tools in a bag. He started to tidy up and was about to leave from there. As well as me, I think today is enough.

"What's up, son?" Uncle Kim asked his son.

"I have to file some investment agreement that I have to sign, Dad." The earth justifies the position of his hat, he also tightens the bag containing the golf tool to his shoulder.

"You're amazing, Bum, but I heard a bad rumor. He said, you're in a mess?" Dad chuckled, I don't know what purpose you're talking like.

"I'm trying to get better," Earth grinned lazily in response to my father.

"Please teach Minhyun, I hope he can take part in our company." My father smiled while patting me on the shoulder.

Earth looked at my face that seemed uninterested in joining the company.

"Of course, I'll be happy to teach her, next time meet me at the office! You need not hesitate, I'll take you around the office" Earth grinned at me.

"Yes sure," I replied briefly as I nodded.

When I got on the campus, I walked into my class. There I saw Somi and Lee Ze staring at me in the room. Shortly, the teacher entered the room. He began to pass on every student.

All those who were summoned almost answered the Lecturer's call, only Ana did not because the woman was not in class.

"Anastasia Jung? Anybody know where this kid is?" Ask the Lecturer.

I also ventured to be Anastasia's spokesperson,

"It's sick sir!" Answer me while standing.

"Is that my fault? She can't walk?" The lecturer said the inappropriate words and looked at me sharply.

I was furious at his words, but I did not respond to the lecturer's trash talk in front of me.

"You know where it came from? Are you her lover?" The lecturer's question made everyone look at me. I can't help my patience anymore, I want to beat him up.

"Do I have to be her lover to know her situation?What right do you have to talk like that?" I felt angry and decided to go from there. I took my bag and left the class.

"What the fuck? Does he want me to blacklist too?" The lecturer slammed the book against the table in front of other students, others no one dared to protest out of fear.

I went out, then saw Dongmin who had just come over to his friends in the Campus Corridor. With my hands clenched I went straight to the man.

Dongmin pushed back, he looked at me sharply. The man stood up and approached me. He also grabbed my shirt collar and squinted his eyes.

"What's that jerk?" His eyes turned red, as well as me who could not stand what he did to Ana.

"You and your father are the same! YOU COWARD!" I screamed at him, and now everyone is staring at us. No one has separated us, I don't think anyone has the courage.

"What's wrong? Explain it!" Pekik Dongmin in front of me.

"You're a coward like your father!" My firm.

"He's your daddy's a motherfucker too!" Dongmin punched me in the face, I who stood unbalanced fell backward.
