The Storm is Over

Along the way to the hospital, the situation in the car was silent all the passengers and the driver was busy with their own thoughts. Rudy as the driver of his gaze focused forward deftly he overtook every vehicle in front, igniting a horn sound if needed. Bryan was feeling the pain in his back, the stab wound was only felt after he was in the car while Aluna fell asleep in the arms of her beloved husband.

The man stared fixedly at his wife's face, he stroked Aluna's hair but suddenly the girl grimaced in pain.

"Mas, sick!" Her speech.

"What's sick, baby?" Bryan panicked.

"Aluna-aluna!" Bryan patted his wife's face gently.

"Dear, say. What's sick."

Aluna did not answer.

"Damn!" Bryan Umbrella.

"Rudy, increase the speed. My wife fainted." Bryan's orders.

Rudy immediately increased the speed of the car, his right foot stepped on the gas pedal while his next foot was on standby to prepare if at any time had to step on the brake. The needle on the speedometer changed from 60km/h to 90km/h fortunately the condition of the night road was not too crowded so it did not hamper their journey to the hospital.

When the car arrived in front of the hospital, Bryan immediately carried his wife's body. He couldn't wait for the medics to bring him the gurney.

"Doctor!"

The doctor saw the arrival of the hospital's founder's son immediately called all the medics, a male nurse assisted by two colleagues prepared a special room for Smith's young master and mistress.

Aluna was laid on a hospital bed, the doctor on duty that night immediately checked her condition. Bryan was busy pacing back and forth in front of the hospital's IGD door. Messy appearance, shirt torn due to fights, bruised wound beaten by the kidnappers.

"Sir, you'd better get your wound treated right away if you don't have an infection." Rudy persuaded his superior.

"No Rud, I don't want to be away from my wife."

"What if it gets worse?"

"That's my business!"

Rudy just let out a long sigh, if this is how it is. It must have been difficult to persuade Bryan and only Ayunda or his wife could persuade him.

"Ri!" A middle-aged lung woman called out from a distance.

"Mommy!"

Bryan was shocked when his parents arrived at the hospital. Rossa, Rendra and Shera are behind him. Everyone was worried about Aluna.

"Ri!" Ayunda.

Bryan could no longer hold back tears. He was sad to see his wife. The man is worried about the safety of Aluna and her two children.

"Mom, Aluna." I heard the man's cries.

Ayunda understood his son's anxiety, he brought his son's body into the deck. Gently rubbed the man's back.

"It's okay, kid, everything's gonna be okay. Your wife and children will be safe." Ayunda killed the fear that ruled his son's heart.

"Shh!" Bryan hissing.

"You hurt, Ry?"

"Yes mom, that kidnapper stabbed me in the back." Bryan grimaced in pain.

"Foolish boy, why not get treated immediately."

"Rudy, why don't you persuade my son to treat his wound." Ayunda to the waist.

"I turned her down because I didn't want to be away from my wife." Bryan defended Rudy.

The man doesn't want his best friend to be blamed .

"Adults are still stupid! If you get hurt who's gonna take care of your wife?" Ask Ayunda.

"Mom!" Call Reymond.

The old man touched his wife's shoulder.

"Here you go, don't be mad at our son anymore."

"Ry, hurry and treat your wounds!" Ayunda said firmly.

"Good mom!"

Bryan accompanied by Rudy went to another room, there was a nurse who was ready to treat Bryan's wounds.

Shera sits near Rossa.

"Sister Ocha can tell whose sister-in-law this is from?" Shera started the conversation.

"Oh that's from Mr. Rudy."

Shera gawking.

"Ice block?" Shera asked in disbelief.

"Rudy's cold like Bryan's sister."

Rossa chuckles.

"It's time!"

"True, every time I asked her the answer was short!"

"Maybe at that time Mr. Rudy was in a bad mood so answered completely."

"Wait, brother what's the connection with the ice block?" Shera asked in full view.

Rossa panic.

"T-there's no relationship whatsoever."

Rossa turned her face red from embarrassment.

"There is a special relationship - no problem, brother, I was happy because the ice block immediately followed brother Bryan."

"Well!"

"Following what?"

"Following to the guarantee." Shera giggled.

Shera's eyes unintentionally collided with her daddy's sharp eyes.

"Dead! Why is it so bad." He cursed his stupidity.

While everyone was worried about Aluna's condition, she giggled in obscurity. Others may assume that Shera does not have empathy for her brother-in-law but he can not bear to hear the fact that Rudy is currently nicknamed "ice block" is close to a girl. This was the first time in history, there was a girl who was holding up near the man.

"Es the beam starts melting." Shera said in her heart.

Bryan had just been treated, and his wound was bandaged. He walked on Rudy's side. Occasionally grimacing in pain.

The guard doctor wearing a white coat with a circular stethoscope around the neck opened the door of the room.

"Doctor!" Bryan moved out of the chair.

"My wife how?" Bryan asked in despair.

"Mrs Aluna's current state is fine, she is just dehydrated and lacking in nutrients. Oh yes, do patients often experience pain in the womb?"

"To my knowledge this is the second time he has complained of doc pain." Bryan.

"Ehm so. I'll ask the obstetrician to make sure your children's condition, how are you?" Ask doctor.

"Okay doctor, please do your best for my wife and my two children."

"Sure!"

"We wait an hour, if the observation is okay then the mistress can be transferred to the hospital ward." Continue doctor.

"Yes, I'll excuse you."

"Thank you doctor." Bryan.

Everyone could breathe a sigh of relief after hearing Aluna's state.

"Thank God my daughter-in-law is fine."

"Yes dear, our son-in-law and our two grandchildren are strong." Typhoon Reymond.

"I'm leaving, baby, I have some business to do." Reymond.

Suddenly he remembered the demonic woman who had become the mastermind over the kidnapping of his favorite son-in-law.

"Shera, you take care of your mommy. Daddy wants to make a calculation with that demonic woman."

"Rud, please handle all the trouble here. I want to see Eliza and reveal all the truth." Reymond Whisper.

Rudy nodded his head.

"Mom." Call Bryan.

Bryan sat in the middle of his mommy and sister.

"I'm sorry Ry!" Her lips trembled as she apologized to the woman who had given birth to her.

The man put his head on the mother's shoulder.

"Mommy forgave you, son. You'll apologize to daddy."

Lovingly and affectionately, Ayunda gently rubbed her son's head. Rudy, Shera, Rossa and Rendra were moved by the rare sight before them.

"The storm is over." Rudy.
