Story of Bryan and Eliza PART I

Jakarta, 2012

Bryan and Eliza became close friends. It is not uncommon for them to spend time together. Studying together, exercising together even after school, Bryan secretly meets Eliza without the knowledge of her mommy and daddy.

It is not that Reymond and Ayunda are not suspicious every day to find his favorite son always come home late. Whenever asked Bryan always reasoned to finish doing schoolwork with friends but he did not explain who he went with.

Reymond and Ayunda should be happy because Bryan has been able to adapt to the new school but somehow they seem to have a bad feeling that says that Bryan is currently hiding something from them.

The Smith Family Residence

"Ry, let's get up. This morning, aren't you going to school?" Shouted mommy Ayunda from behind Bryan's bedroom door.

Every day Ayunda should be preoccupied with activities to wake her husband and two children. In the house there is already an ART that helps to take care of the house but to take care of the needs of husband and child, Ayunda himself must intervene because for Ayunda they are the responsibility of no one else to interfere. After all, Reymond does not like too much if his personal needs are taken care of by others.

"Hm, yes, mom." Bryan opened his eyes slowly.

The morning sunlight barged in through the slightly open gap of Bryan's room curtains. Bryan did morning stretching in his room measuring 3×3.5 meters. The room was not too spacious but enough to put a single bed size of 120×200, one cupboard and a set of study tables plus chairs. The room was dominated by blue and white. There are several award charters on display on the wall. On the study table there is a family photo consisting of mommy, daddy, Bryan and Shera Bryan's sister. The photo was captured in a gold-colored frame.

"It's enough I did the stretcing this morning. It's time to take a shower and get ready for school. I can't wait to see Eliza soon." Bryan's smile was engraved on his tiny lips.

Dining Room

"Morning mom, dad." Greet Bryan as she enters the dining room.

"Morning darling. Howwasyoursleep? Looks like last night you had a good dream huh? You look happy today."

"Lumayanan good luck mom."

Reymond glanced at Bryan and he saw a wisp of happy hue emanating from his son's handsome face.

"I think I need to find out what makes Bryan so happy!" inner Reymond.

"Dad, why are you quiet? Does the food taste bad?" ask Ayunda because Reymond was just daydreaming. He spoke unresponsive.

"Oh, not mom. Your cooking is so good, baby. The more the better the day. You should open a restaurant, I'm sure your restaurant will be crowded with visitors. Do you want me to find a strategic location to open a restaurant in your name?"

"No dad, I don't want to open a restaurant. My skills are enough that you enjoy. I don't want to share with anyone else. What if someone else likes my cooking? Would you share with that man?" ledek Ayunda blinked his right eye.

Bryan who saw the scene could only resist the annoyance because early in the morning he had witnessed the romance drama between mommy and her daddy.

"What mommy and daddy aren't ashamed of, is that she and I watched the ridiculous behavior of you two!"

"Hey Ry, you will also experience this incident if you are an adult and get married later. You might even look more ridiculous than your daddy, son!" sindir Reymond was annoyed by Bryan.

"Stop, why are you guys making a noise? This is not a good time to fight."

"Yes, I went to school first mom. I just went on the motorbike. I don't want to be in the bully because I'm always getting picked up by the driver."

Bryan rushed to carry a backpack. Using a helmet and immediately forward his favorite sport bike.

Bryan entered the residential area. Wandering into a narrow alley for nearly fifteen minutes he searches for the address Eliza gave him. Until he found the simple house of Eliza's family residence.

tok tok tok tok

"Assalamu a'laikum." Bryan said his greetings while knocking on the dark brown door.

"Oh you Ry, want to go in first?" bargain Eliza.

"No, thank you. Let's go to the bad luck."

"Wait a minute, I want to say goodbye to my mom and dad."

After saying goodbye, Eliza and Bryan go to school together.

Along the way they chatted about school issues, lessons and others.

Arriving at school, Bryan parked his motor sport. Their arrival together caused a commotion among the school students. They wondered since when Bryan and Eliza were close. Have they been dating? It was fortunate that Eliza could be joined by Bryan, the handsome man who became the dream of all female students at the school.

"Ry, don't you care about them?" eliza whispers to Bryan.

"Obviously, I assume they don't exist. They're like statues running in my eyes!"

"Geez Ry, you're so mean to say that." Eliza pinched Bryan's stomach.

That made Bryan instantly grumble. Didn't think Eliza would do that to him. Lately Bryan felt a happy feeling if near Eliza and suddenly a great turmoil appeared on him.

"May I fall in love?" bryan asked himself.

"Ri, Ry. How are you keeping quiet? Let's go to class, the bell will ring soon." Eliza's voice ripped Bryan's daydream.

"Oh yeah, come on." Bryan immediately went hand in hand with Eliza.

They both look good. Like the king and queen of a fairyland.

The break bell rings

"El, you don't want to go to the cafeteria?" bryan asked when he saw Eliza was still busy reading Physics textbooks.

"No, I'm not going to the cafeteria. I better use the time to study. Ry, I went to school here because I got a scholarship so if my grades are bad then the scholarship will be withdrawn by the school. Where did my parents pay me for school?"

Bryan who heard Eliza's explanation was immediately shocked. It's only fitting that all this time he rarely served in the canteen. "I like your personality more and more El." Bryan muttered inwardly.

"Ry, if you want to go to the cafeteria let me drop you off. I know you will definitely be the center of attention of the female students here. At least if it's me, they'll step aside because they think I'm your girlfriend." - teased Eliza.

Bryan could only swallow saliva. The longer Eliza is like signaling that she's saving flavor to Bryan.

"All right, come on."

The two of them walked towards the cafeteria but suddenly in the middle of the road Bryan stopped their steps.

"El wait. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" bryan asked, holding Eliza's hand.

"Eh, Ry, why are you suddenly asking this?" asked Eliza nervously.

"It's quick to answer, there's no repetition of my question." Bryan said.

"That's it." Eliza answered deliberately hanging up her answer.
