Married a Childly Widow 3
Pain

Venson's return is certainly happy for his family, especially Jasmine who feels very long for her husband. But the response that Venson gave, of course, jolted Jasmine's mind. How could Venson forbid her from getting close, when it had been weeks they were involved in a cold relationship.

"Daddy, Aura kangen." said Aura while tightly hugging her father's body. Venson returned the hug while gently rubbing Aura's head affectionately. There was anger and guilt that went through Venson's heart.

However, he felt involved in the distress that befell his daughter. For weeks he was rarely home. It even felt like he had not taken the time to chat with his three children.

Jasmine looked at the two with mixed feelings. On the one hand he was happy with the presence of Venson who was now hugging his daughter. However, on the other hand she felt increasingly distant from her own husband. Especially when Venson forbade him to approach her.

Jasmine was still faithfully staring at the two, until Venson's gaze was directed at her. But his gaze this time felt different from before. Inside those eyes was anger as he looked at her. I don't know why Jasmine felt so bad to see such a look from her husband.

Venson slightly untangled her embrace with Aura, yet the two were still hugging, but not as tightly as before. "So this is how you treat my children." That remark was of course responded with a puzzled look by Jasmine.

"What do you mean, how?" tanyanya did not understand.

"You always said you would take good care of my children. But what is it? Even my daughter was almost wretched by your negligence." There was a lot of emphasis that Venson said in his speech.

Jasmine of course was shocked to be considered not to be care for children. She has taken care of and cared for her three children as best she can. But it was still considered negligent by her husband. "But I've taken care of them as much as I can, Mom."

Venson screeched loudly, "If you had indeed taken care of them, an event like this would never have happened." he replied, staring intently at Jasmine. "Then where were you when my daughter was about to get lost? You even let him wander until midnight."

"I'm at home and I've previously banned Aura from leaving, but Aura still chooses to go with her friends."

Jasmine still did not expect that her husband was accusing her of all sorts. Venson still did not believe the words Jasmine spoke. Venson's gaze was fixed on his daughter. "That's it, Aura?"

Being questioned like that even made Aura silent. He even bit his lips to reduce his nervousness. He could not even answer the question asked by his father.

Seeing Aura's response that did not immediately answer his question, Venson asked again about what really happened. "Is it true that he has banned you, but I still go and ignore the ban?"

Aura was still silent in her mind. On the one hand, he was afraid to say the truth. But on the other hand, he would feel very guilty if he had to lie to his father. "You don't have to be afraid. Tell me the truth and what happened until you could experience something like this."

Venson put emphasis in his sentence which made Aura tremble. Feelings of fear and worry continue to surround it. Even his hands shook and cooled. "D-can't..." Even his voice could not come out completely his nervous rank.

Not hearing any answer to the question he had just asked, Venson let out a rough sigh. He confronted Aura's body to be right in front of her. "Now answer father's question. What exactly happened? Did you really ignore the ban and still choose to go with your friends? Yes or no?" Aura shook her head slowly with a feeling of fear.

Venson looked at Jasmine with a disappointed look. Of course he was disappointed, because he had already placed great hopes on Jasmine. But what did he get? The lies and disappointment are so great. Even his sense of disappointment from the previous incident had not completely faded. Now even in the back.

"You heard it yourself, right? So what part of your word can I trust?" The disappointed look was obvious. It was painful for Jasmine. Plus, she is currently pregnant.

"Aura, why are you covering it up? Tell your father the truth." A sense of tightness approached Jasmine. Not before that incident, Jasmine had forbidden and warned - want to keep Aura from leaving, but why now Aura did not tell the truth. If this were to happen, Venson would grow angry and no longer trust him.

Venson stared in trust at Jasmine who was still trying to find a justification. "If you have to make a mistake, admit it. Don't look for justification like this." press Venson while looking straight at Jasmine.

Jasmine shook her head quickly. "But I'm telling you the truth, Mom. I really forbid him to leave. But Au--," Venson cuts off Jasmine. "You can still dodge, when it's obvious you're the one who can't take care of my daughter. Fortunately, nothing happened to my daughter. If something bad happens, you're responsible for everything you've neglected." From the words spoken earlier, it was clear that Venson was so angry. Especially when knowing the truth that Jasmine never properly takes care of her children well.

Not wanting herself to be blamed like this, Jasmine then moved closer to her husband. Jasmine simply did not want this misunderstanding to continue and would make their marriage relationship fall apart.

Jasmine held onto Aura's shoulder to face towards her. "Aura, I beg you to tell me the truth that I've forbidden you to leave, but you won't listen to me."

But Aura did not reply to her words, she just looked down while crying. "The "mas that Aura said were not true. I never lied to you, Mom."

"I know better what my son is like. He would never lie to me?!" Jasmine was shocked at the scuffles thrown by her husband. "It's not like that I mean, mas. I'm just telling the truth, please trust me." Jasmine's tears just came out.

Venson shook his head while pulling Aura away from Jasmine. "How many times do I have to trust you? How many more times do I have to watch you break my trust? Answer me, Jasmine?!" amuk Venson with a sick feeling.

"Aura, please tell your father the truth, so that he doesn't misunderstand me." he asked in a heartfelt tone. Jasmine still asked Aura to tell the truth. Jasmine just didn't want the misunderstanding this time around to have a bad impact on her marriage.

Aura did not dare to raise her head. She was crying because she could do nothing else. And he realized that he could only make things worse. But Aura could not be honest with her father, or she would be humbled by that father. He has not and will never be ready if he has to accept a disappointed look from his father. Let him be selfish this time. It was all he did for his own good.

"For a while, never show your face in front of me or my children" Venson said as he stepped away from Jasmine embracing Aura and led her upstairs. Jasmine's heart roared loudly upon hearing Venson's words.

"Mas," Jasmine muttered as she sobbed. He sat on the floor after hearing that sentence. Her crying sounds so heartbreaking. Even someone who was in the doorway, could feel a faint feeling behind Jasmine's cry. She looked at Jasmine with a difficult look.
