The next day, Dallas took Chezy to the third floor who looked deserted and a little estranged. The third floor only had two rooms. The first is the Dallas workspace while it's working on something. The other door was filled with high security.
When Chezy finds out, there are surprises again and again. "Are you making weapons here?" tanyanya's confused.
"No. I usually use this room just to assemble the weapons randomly. While everything is done in the basement," he explained.
"Why don't I even feel like there's a basement?" mummy Chezy.
Dallas didn't say much. "I'll show it to you when it heals later."
He took the woman to one of his study rooms. The security of the door is not in doubt.
Upon entering the room, Chezy was finally able to see some empty weapons and some of them had yet to be assembled. The light is also dimmer than other rooms.
Dallas pushed the wheelchair to one of the tables. He took out a new long-barreled weapon that was still half-finished.
"The sound of falling things you heard back then is here. I accidentally dropped a box of stuff on the table."
"You're very good at hiding. You should have a degree in the army, right?"
"I don't work in the army. I work in the arms union section. Coincidentally related to the military. So there's a little bit of cooperation with them. That's when I knew Miley," Dallas said flatly.
He doesn't explain too much about his work. After looking at the third floor, Chezy was not too curious anymore. He was obediently brought down to the second floor by Dallas.
Since Chezy already knew, Dallas wouldn't hide himself anymore if he wanted to come to the third floor.
"You stay here for recovery." Dallas. "After knowing each other's identities, are you still going to play cat-splitting by pretending to live in an apartment with your two friends?"
"I still have to investigate a lot of things. Staying with them is better. Originally ... being your contract wife was completely out of the way. If we hadn't met at the airport, maybe the situation would have been different" Chezy said.
Dallas sat on the edge of the bed, facing her. "Now, are you not willing to consider being my wife for real?"
"You're in love with me?"
"Didn't I say it that night?"
Chezy was silent for a while. But he breathed in the end. "My work has been dangerous all along. I've been trained since I was a kid in a secret agent organization. I rarely go home either. People in Country K may not even know the daughter of the Edelmar family."
"What's your family like?"
Chezy smiled. "You'll know when the time comes. Obviously, even if you find out, it won't work. Only your grandfather and father knew because they had met my father and grandfather. Whahuh? You want to marry me for identity? I remember, you looked down on my previous status," he said calculatingly.
Dallas did not say anymore. He really looked down on himself back then for not considering him educated. But she also falls in love before knowing her identity.
"I—" He really wants to explain something.
"Forget it for now. You better think for yourself, whether your own identity is suitable for me or not." Chezy was lazy to talk to him about high or low status. "Dallas, you should know ... In the eyes of my family, the status of the Alston family was only the king of small business. Your father retired from the army too early and your grandfather didn't devote himself to the military too long. The Alston family thrives on entrenched business everywhere. But my family doesn't. Country K is a government system ...."
Chezy did not elaborate. He finally left the room and went to the balcony to breathe fresh air.
Dallas was still digesting all the words that the woman had spoken. Country K still has a royal system, not a free government like Country A. In other words, could it be that the identity of the Edelmar family has something to do with the royal family?
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
In the afternoon, Dallas went to the Alston family home and met Grandpa Alston. The two spoke eye-to-eye in the study room about his relationship with Chezy in the future.
Grandpa Alston coughed a little. "Why did you come here instead of taking care of your wife?"
"Grandfather, I want to marry Chezy in earnest and change the contractual spousal status to a legal partner" Dallas said without further ado.
"What??!" Grandpa Alston was shocked. His body trembled a little. "Tell me, is your marriage to her a contract?"
"I forced him at first. Everything to avoid marriage with Sonya." Dallas' attitude was not arrogant in the old man's eyes. "I didn't know there would be a day in love with her."
Finally Grandpa Alston could not help but throw the teacup he was holding towards Dallas. But intentionally darted. The tea cup broke after touching the floor. He tried to suppress the anger in his heart.
"I'm not ashamed!"
Alston's grandfather knew that the second was a contract marriage. Even Chezy himself told her since he recognized each other since coming to Alston's house. He was just pretending to be surprised.
Dallas said nothing. It was only natural that his grandfather was angry. Apparently, Grandpa Alston couldn't fight the Edelmar family either.
"How can I explain this to them? If they find out that their beloved daughter is being played with by you, do you think the Alston family will live a quiet life?" Grandfather Alston saw his grandson growing quiet, the anger in his heart slightly easing.
In the end Grandpa Alston waved his hands unconcernedly. "It doesn't matter to his father and grandfather, I still have a little friendship with them. But it might be different from his brother. What do you think of her brother's reaction to knowing this?"
"Sister Chezy, who is he?"
Grandfather Alston snorted, "You don't need to know who he is. But he will certainly not be happy. He's also quite ruthless, a little older than you. I'm afraid you'll be the object of his experiments in the future" he explained.
But this step her grandson took was wrong. Performing a contract marriage agreement, this tarnishes Chezy.
"Because you have chosen this path, complete it to the end. The rest, your grandfather and father will take care of this. Remember to have a good relationship with Chezy. If you hurt him, Grandpa won't be done with you!"
Dallas nodded obediently. He finally left the study room.
After Dallas left, Grandpa Alston secretly pulled out his phone and contacted someone.
"Hey, old friend! My granddaughter kidnapped your granddaughter. Aren't you happy now?!"
"What's? Which one's your granddaughter? Is that your granddaughter who failed to maintain her engagement?" An old man's voice sounded from the other end of the phone.
"really. Who else if not Dallas?! He's starting to bow to your granddaughter. I think your family genes can all subdue people. Truly a good royal descendant!"
I heard laughter from across the phone. Grandpa Alston immediately had a dark face and closed the call spontaneously. But his heart was a little relieved.
If not to teach his grandson to be a righteous man, he would not have to pretend to be angry. Seeing that the tea cup on the floor was already a piece of trash, he even felt heartache.
"From the beginning I should have used cheap cups to crack" he murmured.
