"Your mother won't agree easily. He had already regarded Sonya as the daughter-in-law of this house from the very beginning. It's only natural that he doesn't like Chezy at first sight." Mr. Alston could only stand in the middle of the two sides differing opinions.
On the other hand, there was his wife to defend. But on the other hand too, his son who was about to inherit the family business was also noticed. Whoever wins whose heart, it all depends on Grandpa Alston.
But Mr. Alston knew the nature of his son who had always stood firm.
"Dad, Sonya and I can't be together. He prefers to be with his sister. You can persuade your sister to marry him." Dallas thought of something to keep the Alston family busy with something else.
Mr. Alston sighed. "Your brother treats Sonya like his sister. There is no other intention. Do you understand?"
Dallas didn't keep it for a long time. He's nodding.
"He lived in country K before, right?" ask father.
"Yes. Is there a problem with this?"
"none. Country K is very nice and tight. The woman should be educated. It's hard to live in country K as an ordinary citizen." Mr. Alston doesn't want to say more. He's hiding his mind. He remembered his old friend who was there.
Of course Mr. Alston has visited K country for his military affairs in the past. He certainly knew the Edelmar family.
Is it possible that Chezy has something to do with that family?
Or just have the same name?
After all Mr. Alston had never seen a daughter from the Edelmar family there.
Dallas was curious but tried not to show his attitude. After much talk, Dallas was relieved. His uncle and aunt were not very opposed.
Before long, Chezy came out of the study. His expression did not change at all. Dallas didn't ask more.
"Grandfather wants to talk to you" he said.
"Yes. You're waiting." Dallas entered the study and closed the door.
The study room had a soundproof effect so it could not hear anything the other party was talking about from outside. Chezy's just waiting.
It didn't seem like much Dallas talked about with his grandfather. After a while, Dallas came out. Then came the voice of Grandpa Alston's rather angry cry. Before the door finally closed, the sound disappeared naturally.
"Did you fight with your grandfather?" tanyakanya.
"It's okay. Just a small matter," Dallas replied lazily. "Let's go back."
The two left the Alston family mansion after saying goodbye to some of the existing family members. Mrs Alston's attitude is certainly not good. I don't want to admit anything at all.
On the way home, Dallas said nothing. His expression was rather serious.
When he arrived home, Dallas went to the study room to take care of his work.
Without feeling it, it was already night.
Dallas is still not out of the study. Dinner time is over. Chezy ate alone at the dining table because the man said he was still busy with some business.
Most likely the Marweth family is looking for trouble with the Alston family. Not to mention there was still Madame Alston who placed great importance on Sonya at the moment.
Perhaps during this time, Mrs Alston will ask to meet in person or so on.
"It's a hassle."
Soon, Butler Sun asks Chezy to deliver dinner to the man's study. There was still a smile on the face of the butler, making Chezy a little helpless.
Chezy brought a tray of dinner and a glass of water to the second floor. He knocked on the door of the study.
"Lake in." Dallas' voice from inside sounded lazy.
"What's the problem?" ask the man without looking.
"Your dinner" replied Chezy unconcernedly.
"Let's just. I'll eat later."
"Eat first before continuing your work."
Dallas looked over and smiled at him. "Do you care about me?"
"This is Butler Sun's request."
"Very honest." Dallas put the document paper into place and put away the pen. "Bring it to that table and I'll eat it now" he added.
Chezy. He placed two plates of food on another table not far from the desk.
The man got up and walked over, but instead of sitting down. Dallas actually wrapped around Chezy's waist with a seductive touch.
"What are you doing?" Chezy's a little stiff. There was a cigarette smell coming from the man's body. He almost forgot, Dallas is a cigarette addict.
"Hugging my wife, is something wrong?"
"No." Chezy wants to choke on something in her throat.
"What is Grandpa talking about with you? Really long?"
"It's nothing. Only he doesn't agree I'm the son-in-law of the Alston family." Chezy doesn't want to discuss this any further.
Dallas is cold. "Well, it's not status-worthy" he said as it is.
Dallas tried to think for some time this was why he immersed himself in his work. It seemed like this woman had many secrets that she could not see.
"Who are you really?" dallas didn't mean it.
"Huh?"
"It's nothing." Dallas took his hand off the woman's waist and sat down for dinner.
Chezy was about to quit after finishing work from Butler Sun but Dallas stopped him.
"Where are you going?"
"Is there anything else?" Chezy was impatient.
"Stay here and accompany me to eat. Why are you so bad as a wife?" ledek.
"I'm just your contract wife. My job is to warm your bed. The rest is none of my business!" Chezy glared at him.
"It's nice to know so much." Dallas smiled mockingly.
"You—!" Chezy can't take it anymore. Can he smash this fancy glass-bottomed table in front of him?
"Sit down and serve me a meal." Dallas said again.
Chezy wants to get out and call the Marine, talk about the continuation of their mission. But Dallas is a stubborn man and no one should dispute that.
Finally he chose to sit down and watch her eat quietly.
Apparently, Dallas asked to accompany him to a meal not just to bring an empty plate out. There was nothing good about the man's behavior. He sees her as a servant.
