Man Seeker Cuan

Man Seeker Cuan
Part 2

Arriving at home, in a condition that was still tired, his aunt immediately told him to wash the dishes.

"Indra, you wash the dishes first well, you can eat. And then your dirty dishes should also be washed. Auntie was tired all day. Yeah!"

He did not answer and went straight to the kitchen to wash the dishes. After that he washed himself, changed his clothes, and went down again to the kitchen to eat dinner.

But all he saw was a little rice and vegetables left. Apparently her aunt, and her children had eaten before she and her uncle got home. And his uncle had also eaten while he was bathing and finished off the other fish and side dishes without thinking about his senses.

Then inevitably he was forced to eat it even though the heart wants to buy other foods.

"No! I have to save my remaining allowance until the end of the month." He said in his heart.

But while he was still eating, his uncle came up to him and said, "Indra, from tomorrow we won't be home too late."

"Why uncle?"

"So you have time to find and collect used items around this complex. Is it worth the money to increase income?"

"Yes uncle."

"Well, finish your meal and go to sleep." His uncle said before leaving.

"What food should be spent? It was over. Just this cat's rice, it didn't take long to finish." With a low voice.

*********

That night he lay on his bed staring at the ceiling of his room. Depending on his high hopes of succeeding in his regional city. Until finally the wishful thinking took him to sleep deep into his subconscious, taking him to a beautiful place.

Only he himself was there enjoying the fresh natural beauty and the fragrant air in the afternoon. There he gazed at the vast expanse of blue sky and pinned his hopes on the Creator.

The dream made her fall asleep until her aunt had to wake her up to go to work the next day.

Since it was already bright, he left by skipping his breakfast like before.

*********

In the workshop, he did the same job and always kept his craft to keep his uncle happy and not cut his wages.

But when lunchtime came, his uncle suddenly came and told him when he was about to take a break.

"Indra, please make uncle coffee. After that, you pick up and collect used items in the alley over there." He pointed outside towards the trash can where some plastic bottles were thrown away.

He simply submissively answered her and quickly did what his uncle had asked him to do so that he could go to lunch soon.

He put all those used bottles in plastic and put them in his uncle's motorcycle seat.

**********

When he ate in the cafeteria, some of his friends rebuked him, "Indra, you should have said 'Well uncle, I'll collect it later.'"

"The ndra. Take care of your. You often eat late and rarely eat breakfast. Not that you're exaggerating, but if you're sick, I'm sure your uncle won't care about you."

He remained silent because everything his friends said was true. But unfortunately he did not have the courage to refuse his uncle's request.

After eating, they immediately returned to work so that the boss did not nag like a broken radio noise. And Indra did all his work well until finally the clock came home from work.

The first day he scavenged, he got quite a lot of used stuff. There was one homeowner who gave him some broken pots made of aluminum.

"Well, it's the deck. Take it."

"Thank you mom."

"Yes.yes."

While he was scavenging, his uncle was busy playing games on his phone while waiting for him. Then as soon as the sack was full, he went back to his uncle.

"This is uncle, the sack is full." He said while showing the contents.

"Dine! If so, we sell it directly. Come on!"

They immediately went to the second-hand sales place. He held the sack in the back, while his uncle focused on riding his motorcycle.

When they got there and sold it, his uncle received a hefty sum of money and immediately put all the money in his pocket.

There were no pleasantries or words of comfort that his uncle had spoken to him as a sign that he had worked hard. Moreover, the money, impossible he received at that time because they immediately went home and his uncle was silent along the way with his senses so as not to offend the money from the sale of the secondhand.

*********

At night, his mother called him. In the conversation his mother advised him to be a good and obedient child, not to make his uncle and aunt difficult.

His mother said so because she got a report that her son was very naughty and dirty. Often late wake up and lazy. Not just at home, but at work.

The teenage boy was sad to hear it. His heart was hurt and wanted to cry but he held it back.

"Do you know where I'm like that here?"

"Your aunt said it was afternoon. She called my mom and talked bad about you. Son, please, don't upset your aunt. You should be grateful your uncle gave you a job. Hopefully, our family's economy improves."

Hearing his mother's words, his heart grew increasingly upset and was no longer able to contain her. So he went outside so that his uncle and aunt would not hear his conversation when he was going to be frank with his mother.

He also vented all his emotions and suffering the day after he arrived at his uncle and aunt's house. He said he was treated like a babu and rarely ate breakfast. Even when the whole body was crumbling with fatigue, he could not immediately rest because his aunt always told him to wash the dishes.

Hearing his son talk while sobbing, his mother could not take it anymore and asked him to go home immediately.

"Mother never thought, how could she treat her niece like a babu. Is he like that to others?"

"No." Answer's short.

"It has. Just gohome. There you often go hungry. Although we're hard but you never starve when you're still in the village. Health is more valuable than money. If it continues, the money you are looking for will not be enough to buy your medicine if you are sick. Tomorrow, buy a ticket and go home!"

"Don't ma'am. Wait for a month. Until I get a salary. If I go home tomorrow, where are the charges? I don't have any money, ma'am."

"alright. Just this one month. Always take care of your health, son there?"

"Yes ma'am."

Then the phone closed and he immediately returned home before the door was locked from the inside.
