The teenager named Indra was forced to go to the house of one of his relatives to work. He did not finish school because his family could no longer afford him. His family's finances plummeted after his father had another wife. Not knowing what else to do in his hometown, the cursed and isolated village among other villages, he had to obey his mother's request, go wandering.
In the city of Jambi, at the home of one of his relatives, he stayed. But he was treated as nothing more than a stranger. The day after he got there, he was immediately told to work cleaning the entire house and often missed his breakfast.
Because after all that was done, he was immediately taken to where his uncle worked and helped him there.
His uncle promised to pay him if he worked well.
"Indra, your job is to wash the motor. Later uncle also teach you to patch tires and service vehicles. Your salary is every day uncle kumpulin, and the end of the month will be uncle kasih. Ok!"
"Well uncle." He answered and went to take his job.
There he immediately washed one motor unit. His uncle saw that he was working well and quickly. So his uncle told him to wash some motorcycles that had been done by others, while they were told to patch tires and other services.
He vigorously did so because he thought about the wages he would receive at the end of the month.
"Well, take a break from the senses. Since morning you have been working without rest. The others ate it. It's noon." Said one of the employees who saw him still rubbing the motor body and his hands full of foam.
"Yes, just a little more. The responsibility." He continued his work even though his stomach had rung. Hunger since this morning he was held in order to finish the work that was charged at him.
Finally when the time showed at 2 pm, he sat down and sipped a glass of cold water to relieve his dry throat since then. As the water flowed down his throat, he felt like his throat was lubricated by good oil.
Slowly his strength recovered slightly so that his legs had the power to go to the cafeteria to buy food.
But as he walked forward, his uncle called out to him and told him to do another job.
"Indra! Where you going? There's a motor. Wash geh!" He said then left.
"Well..." He breathed a long sigh and bowed sadly. But because the hunger could not be held back, he chose to go to the cafeteria.
There he ate in a hurry and almost willing.
"Eat the deck slowly. Tar if you die how will you? You can lose because you don't pay." Said the canteen's mother.
"Yes ma'am." The answer is down while coughing.
But as if he did not pay attention to it, he continued to eat in a hurry because he was worried that his uncle was looking for him.
"Mom, here's the money. Thanks mom." He left after finishing his meal.
But it turned out that the money he paid was less so that the mother shouted to him, but unfortunately the scream was in vain. The canteen mom nagged too, "That's the bottom of today's children! His stubbornness. Look out if he's eating here tomorrow! Mother's adding twice as much because her debt is flowering."
"Yes mom. Don't that. How much less is ma'am?"
"Less two thousand."
"Gosh mom. Just two thousand. I paid for all my possessions."
"That's dong. More money can pay people?" Ask the canteen mom.
"Not so, mom. But two thousand won't make us poor."
The canteen mother nagged at her words because she felt lectured and returned to the kitchen. But when the people who were eating were about to leave, the canteen mother suddenly nudged in front of them and said,
"Don't eat here. Eat here again tomorrow. Mother does not make it expensive. Yeah?" He said while throwing a smile.
"Yes mom. We will still eat here. You're good mom's cooking."
"Printers..." The canteen mom smiled broadly.

Meanwhile, the teenager named indra was scolded all out by his uncle for making customers wait a long time.
"Hey, where have you been? Why is the motor not washed? Because you're a customer we waited a long time. Lookie! because of you he went to the workshop next door. Uncle's money was reduced, moving into someone else's hands! That means, your wages will also decrease!"
But as long as he was yelled at, he did not dare to defend himself telling the real reason. The eyes of the people who saw him in the crowd made his mentality weaker. There was nothing he could do but bow down and get back to work.
He went to the motorcycle wash and started working. Then when he was cleaning the motorcycle, one of the employees came up to him and said, "Indra, from earlier your uncle was always angry. I have replaced you, but your uncle will not. I told you you had lunch again, but your uncle still didn't care. Next time, it's lunch time, lunch time. Stay in the job. You are hungry but not appreciated. I'm sorry well, I don't mean to complain to you, but I feel sorry for you. Since morning you haven't eaten. If you're sick, how? Can't work."
"Yes, thank you, yeah." His reply then continued to work because he saw his uncle walking towards him. Likewise with others, back to serious work.

That day he cleaned ten motorcycles, patched five tires, made coffee for his uncle three times, and learned to service. The first day he worked was really tiring and made him tense. But thinking about his wages, he paid no heed to the burden.
When it was late afternoon, he was assigned to tidy up all the equipment and make sure everything was good, while the others were told to go home.
And while he was doing his final job, his uncle sat waiting outside while playing games on his phone.
It was only after everything was well and the door was locked that they both went home. But on the way, his uncle did not talk to him, just focused on driving his car.
