Mama, I Love You!

Between Debt and Going Hajj

In the store there was nothing Nina and her mama were talking about anymore. Nina is busy scrolling her mobile screen, mama is busy writing goods and sales, occasionally they serve the buyers who come.

However, as soon as Nina's eyes get her mama is opening a box of chocolate, not too big, slightly stained and fragile at the edges.

Mama took something in the box, Nina approached the mama who was sitting in the back corner of the storefront "What box is ma?" ask Nina.

Mama snorted "Yes, this is my mom's personal piggy bank, but she didn't use the store money to fill this piggy bank, she used private money"

"What did mom do? The shop money also belonged to mama ko" Nina furrowed her brows

"No, my father and brother Ifah always did not believe in my mother, though sometimes mama used store money to pay the debt that mama borrowed because many people owe in our store so mama borrowed money to cover the loss of this store" explained mama.

Nina was sad to hear what her mother said "Keep this money for what?"

"Actually this money has been saved for Hajj, but because there are still many debts in the store, you will use this money to pay it, it is also your fault why you owe"

Nina understood what her mother said, so suddenly she was covered in her knees in front of her mom who was sitting.

"Ma, don't do that, this is your personal money to go for Hajj, even though the debt in this store is the responsibility of all of us. Do you know about this money and the debt in the store?" nina Lirih

Nina who saw that did not expect that mom would actually give her money. After the transaction, the middle-aged man left, mother returned to the store and took a red book with glasses.

Mama glanced at Nina and smiled "Are you already working? You're still from mama, you know."

"Hmmm, mama why do I always break my spirit anyway?" grumbled Nina "I'll try ma, I've been used to trading on campus, the money from the sale I'll put in the piggy bank"

"Alright, but don't tell anyone about this yes, it's been 3 years mama kept the box, then you told me"

"Newly me? Wh why? Are you afraid the money will be taken?" asked Nina innocently

"Haha no, mama just does not want something like this to happen, the proof is that you who just know already want to help mama fill it, especially if others know, if others know, they'll do the same as you"

Nina's heart exploded because she heard her mother's words, somehow every day her mother did something that made her proud. However, Nina really couldn't say it in front of mama, she just smiled and leaned on her back.
