CHAPTER 40 - Go For Back (Part 8)

Thika sends the video she took directly to Raka, she sends a message to him so that Gauri does not see the video if they later meet to talk about her divorce to keep Gauri feeling, she remains a wife.

At 8 am Gauri has prepared goods Adnan and Mahi are preparing to go to the train station, they will return to the village by traveling by train for 5 hours. After that, he just drove Arjun to Thika's house to be guarded by his grandmother and went to work.

"My mother's mother. died Shankaaa...." Gauri is still crying, she still doesn't know what's really going on. Shanka took Gauri's hape which was still connected to Adnan who was also crying there. Adnan tells what happened and Shanka is very emotional to hear it, Aditya and his mother are really evil and have no heart. Shanka clenched her hands firmly while looking at Gauri who was still being pacified by her superior Devi.

"Shanka. Take Gauri home, I give you a few days off. Go away.." Said Devi who did know the relationship of Shanka and Gauri since long ago because Devi is a place to confide Gauri who has been considered her own brother since she worked here the first time.

Arjun who is awake is also being fed by Gauri, Shanka is busy telling Thika to contact the lawyer and ask about the land and the house and the lost jewelry if it can be prosecuted, and Thika will ask Raka tomorrow.

They continue the long journey, Kula is now driving and Shanka breaks to change again later after Kula is tired. The car enters a quiet and dark village after 3 hours and Gauri is still sleeping while hugging Arjun.

"Gauri.. Gauri's.." Shanka only 2 times said his name and Gauri has been awakened, "Have arrived here we do not know the way anymore." Shanka told him, Gauri allowed her to sit down and still held Arjun while looking around.

"Straight again, there will be a rice field turn to the right, the house is near there." Gauri continued, Kula drove slowly because it was still three in the morning, after passing through the Gauri rice fields told Kula to find a place to park this car and they would walk to the house.

Gauri was still carrying Arjun, Kula and Shanka brought their goods and followed Gauri in the back. After arriving, Adnan was seen waiting at the temple nearby and immediately perform rituals for the cremation of Mahi in the temple area there, until almost noon everything was finished and Adnan sat limp on the temple floor with his eyes still moist.

Fortunately they invite Kula to take care of Arjun, while Shanka is more busy looking for evidence to ensnare Anju into the realm of law, Gauri also just finished with his busyness, he did not have time to dissolve in grief because the one who suffered the most was his father.

They decided to go straight back to the city because there was no place to stay, Shanka has also obtained several witnesses who saw Anju with an old man enter the house by force on the grounds that it is her home and will be taken again, and the neighbors couldn't help it when Anju got the land deed and the house certificate on his behalf.

Shanka took another turn driving with Kula, the journey home was more tiring so they stopped up several times to rest for a total of more than 10 hours to get home.
